Understanding PERSONALITY (Meaning and Definition Explained) What is Personality?

Understanding one's personality, how it was formulated and programmed throughout childhood and adolescence, is of great benefit to all Spiritual seekers of Truth. Psychologically speaking the meaning of personality is a complex structure of learned responses, dependent upon a multitude of factors and influences, including Karma, and level of consciousness. Different personality types develop and change in relation to the ego's beliefs, actions, and intentions. Personality development training and improvement is possible through acceptance, and the willingness to surrender old habitual patterns for new and more beneficial ones. Personality issues, needs, and judgments, are all products of the ego's programming. A personality switch can take place if causes and conditions ripen, dependent on intention, dedication, purification, and much Spiritual work. One's nature and is defined in relation to the determinants of one's personality and Character. But to the more advanced states of consciousness, the personality is not the True Self, and can be seen for what it is, the persona, or character of the ego presented to society. One's True Self is the indwelling Pristine Awareness beyond the ego and all personal labels and mental conceptual content. Seek the Truth, become a free spirit personality and Raise your Level of Consciousness.
