Well, that did not have the ending I expected 😔. The next time this property calls you to unblock their drain, you will probably be "very busy" and booked up with other appointments 😉. On the plus side, your audio is working great now 👍
Traps end of line are common up north in some areas. Chasing up/down the main with camera/crawler to check nozzle penetration through lateral outlet is a good indication of how it's stuck.
Top tip,,if u suspect a collapsed pipe that u can't jet through, don't keep sending ur jet down,,push some bear rods down, don't risk losing ur hose or jets,????
@jetcleanpro2384 yes I did,,for what I see the 1st attempt you got the water level to drop, I would have stopped,,then I see that after a few other attempts u jetted again till the interceptor was visible,,I in my experience of being a drainage engineer since the 1990s as long as I got part flow restored I would have past the blockage over to Thames water as it's past the boundary after the new act that came in 2011 that if the blockage was past the customer boundary then it became local authority response,I used to work for Thames water between 2004 & 2019 , it's a good job you didn't get the tulip jet or the penetrator jet stuck down there because they are quite a bit of money to buy, yes been there myself got jets stuck but ended up doing what a few others have commented, by pulling the hose tight then slowly pressure up ,somes works but hey like u say cut ur loss cut the hose re end the hose move on,,,love watching your channel, nice to see a more local London guy doing blockages 👍👍
It's happened me one time. Now i don't screw head tight. If it stuck i roll the hose so i unscrew the stuck head and release the hose. The head usually stuck in cracks in the pipes . So you just lose head and no hose.
I would have coiled the hose and stuck it in that box and waited for the city water people to come out and maybe you could have retrieved the entire thing whole
@jetcleanpro2384 good I really felt for you when you said " Oh Dear " it reminded me of people My Generation in previously I am 63 and it is very endearing watch more of your videos and learn more it's very interesting thank you my brother
Surely as the trap/blockage is off boundary its then a public lateral sewer /drain at that point so the local water authorities should come out and clear it for free and do any remedial works as it's their asset? Also your jetting through a winsor or Buchan trap so always top hole as that for service works and do you mean NRV further down the line i.e anti flood device not a trap? Actually now I've seen more of the video your getting caught on a broken or displaced 90 degree blind connection onto the main
Ah Paul by the looks of the state of the footpath near the tree, their has been some subsidence or damage to the pipe due the the tree, nothing you can do there. It doesn't surprise me on the time frame of Thames Water call out.. I would expect them out in 24hrs not 72 hours as its the drain is not running right away, they wonder why they get some much bad press.. If it was not for the distance of travel i would suggest calling fellow UA-camr @Drain Addict Ollie from Oz. He is often get his mate Frank out of the doo doo went Frank gets his hose and head stuck.. I nicknamed Frank Spencer as in Some mothers do have 'em..😂😂 Please update us on how thing go
Instead of cutting the hose, you could've left it inside the manhole and when they dig up the drain, they can pull it out for you and maybe leave it with the customer so you can pick it up later 🤷🏻♂️
@@jetcleanpro2384just curious why was there no main sewer line how did they ever put a trap in there in the first place and maybe if you vacuum out the dirty water you can run a camera down slowly and the cameras are getting cheaper I don't know how much those hoses and attachments cost but you know I just trying to figure it out myself maybe come up with a solution to help you I've done that a lot in life
@@darylhudson777 Thanks Daryl, but can assure you a drain camera is a lot more expensive than 30m of jetting hose and a nozzle, I will get it back was the water authority's have dug up the pavement to do a repair, it needs doing anyway.
I'm feeling sorry for your loss. I hope you may get it back soon. Another good job but hard luck in the end. Respect from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Thank you, Hopefully will get it back on Friday
Explosives.💥
Lol

I would think once the water authority's have repaired the pipe, I should not get called back anyway . Thanks, think I have cracked the volume.
Good job 👍💪
Thank you
Ollie from drain addict would get that hose out!😂
Always watch Ollies video's, Drainage is a lot different in Aussie compared to the UK
can you do a follow up it will be interesting to know what happened
I hope your day goes better ", 🥺
Thank you

I would of, but water was too dark, also imagine getting the camera head stuck too
Damn. Those jetting nozzles cost a pretty penny.
Luckily, the one I had on their that got stuck is only £20 each
@@jetcleanpro2384 Wow, you are lucky indeed! I priced some and was shocked.
up date , did thames water get hose out
Not yet, due in next few days
Camera the line so you can see whats down there

Thank you, tried that, took the hose off the reel and keeped twisting it, but no luck
I am so sorry for you, you should make money instead of losing it!
These thing happen, hopefully once Thames water come round, I can get the hose back.
Fancy getting your hose stuck in a hole 😁
So annoying! But perhaps this will get it sorted for good.
Need to twist hose and keep pulling while on full pressure then kick pressure off always works for getting stuck hoses out school boy error
I would have coiled the hose and stuck it in that box and waited for the city water people to come out and maybe you could have retrieved the entire thing whole
That is exactly what I done, instead of cutting it, but have had to order a new hose, as will need it for more jobs between now and friday.

Let us know what Thames do and find
Will do, I eventually left all the hose in the drain, so hopefully they can retrieve it back.

I think your hose is not rigid enough

ROLL up the hose and put it in the clean out box and have the water dept call you after they dig it up
That’s a darn shame.
It is, but what can you do.
Call Oliver😊
Bit far for him to travel mate
Why did you not lift the main sewage drain to see if could see it or use a camera to see what and where stuck.
Their was no main sewer drain, also water was too dirty to use a camera, plus imaging that getting stuck too.

It's worth asking what the drainunblockers would do at merseyrods?
@thedrainunblockers help
That sucks. You did all you could.
What's all the white dots??? Looks like bird shit!! 😂😂
It's called Lichen
Too bad you you had to cut the hose.
Put your biggest nozzle on the hose, then when it comes to the blockage, it will either punch through or punch it up!!😅
Did you watch all the video
Once it leaves that manhole it should be the responsibility of the local water authority to clear
Absolutely stupid idea to put buried running trap on run what was the thinking behind that . Interceptor in manhole yes running trap blind stupid.
a wise man knows when he should have stopped beating a dead horse !
