In my point of view I would have carried out a CCTV before unblocking to see what the blockage was,,them rat stoppers are a pain,I wld say that's the cause of the blockage ,,but good job done
Definitely gradient problem - or possibly put in by absolute amateurs, judging by the 'soup' level up the side of the chamber where the upper extension is attached to the base. Very badly installed indeed. Even the main inlet seems cock-eyed compared to the main channel. Having watched to the end I can definitely agree about the gradient, but there may also have been a bent pipe used (yes, the do deform if stored badly) with the bend being arched upwards towards the centre rather than layed sideways on to keep the gradient even, that way causing a blockage owing to those damned baby wipes.
Agree, trying to get the land owner to dig it all up and replace the drainage, and lay the block paving again, They have been onto him for the last 3 years about this, still nothing been done.
top stuff bro. i want more.
Thanks Mate
Good job sir. I know the feeling about the knees….🍺🍺🍺🍺

I was going to do a pre inspection before unblocking, but don't think it would show through the sewage.. Thanks anyway

Obviously there's something else up in y
Looking at the state of that split manhole , ì suspect that the whole run needs replacing.
I advised them of this on the last visit, but told land owner has done nothing about it.
