Why didnt you try a manual unblock before smashing up nextdoors driveway😂 ? Yeah they shouldnt have poured cement down ffs but if its not set the best thing to do is keep using your drains as much as possible so it can be flushed and weakened as its moving through and doesnt have a chance to sit and set. (I know concrete sets underwater) only if it is left completely untouched for weeks will it set underwater. No way was thay drive way done a few days ago the weeds alone in the drive looked months old. I love how he takes his work with pride and doesnt just leave it. He wants to get to the bottom of the problem. He should make his own tool similar to a Lacrosse stick so you can pull out what you can see settle rather than force flowing back and forth between drains of properties. Curious whos to blame for that and responsible for paying lol

I've watched these drain video's since the pandemic started everywhere from Australia To UK to US/Can To Korea to Germany & maybe a few Polish one's too. Every single one of them try's to think up the most disgusting description for the thumbnail they can to attract viewers & it works. Great video mate,you need to get a chest mounted go pro to go from your main drain to the other,leave your main camera set up,it will save you keep lugging your tripod from one to the other,then just interlock footage in the edit

Remove interceptor and replace with non return system .problem won't return again . Done about 400 of them over the years never been called back to one since.

I suggest the old bumper style car jack or a regular hydraulic car jack you hook a chain around it and to the handles and start pumping

I have gone back in time to the 1950 ,when I was an apprentice plumber, having to work on war damage drains in Coventry, using wooden cane 3ft , long with brass ferrules at each end ,the drains were made from kiln backed earthenware clay with cement joints all laid by hand, when I finished my time, with these letters after my name, A.M.R.S.P.H , R.P.,🤠👍🕸️🐝

Stumbled across this video, glued to it end to end. I am retired now and live in Portugal, but sometimes got involved in this type of work back in the UK when I was working some years ago. Although we never had this type of sophisticated kit it is such a good feeling when you unblock a drain. Very determined mate credit it to you! 👍👍👍

Question: that should be a public drain, otherwise it wouldn’t be connected to the neighbour’s side of things. Unless I misunderstood everything, you found cement in the drains, some cowboy builder using the drains to get rid of excess materials. Is there no legal obligation to inform the water authority? If that drain blocks for good, it will cost hundreds of thousands to replace.

I made a mental note to never go to that fish and chip shop.. Are they seriously storing the bags of chips or potatoes on the floor right near a sewer drain?? Just as well i live thousands of miles away cos I would be so on the health dept.

Why did you leave all that sediment between up stream manhole and second . The debris you had to plunger down the drain gully. . Water was just flowing over sediment left a bottom of pipe . You can see standing water in last manhole when fitting cover .

Too many keyboard critics here complaining about our man pushing the debris further down the pipe. It’s an interceptor, meaning it’s going directly into a nice big sewer. Next time there’s a storm it’ll be a torrent down there flushing everything away
