2:23 You didn't get anything wrong since it's all opinion based. I have a hard time ranking their albums now that I view Volbeat as two versions. V1: 2001-2012 and V2: 2013-2022. If I ranked them like that it would look like this V1 [2001-2012]: The Strength/The Sound/The Songs Rock The Rebel/Metal The Devil Beyond Hell/Above Heaven Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood V2 [2013-2022]: Servant Of The Mind Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie Rewind, Replay, Rebound
It seems like, with a minor exception, you feel like Volbeat has continually gotten worse. Even within your groupings, you basically have then in chronological order. I definitely see where you’re coming from. In general, their earlier albums are higher quality. Thanks for the comment.
Interesting list. I'm new to the band so I assume I can use this ranking as an album recommendation list? They seem to have an interesting sound and so far I've found a few songs I've enjoyed.
I'm new too but I dove into their catalogue a lot in the 5 short months I've been into them. Here are my suggestions to check out, some of my favs in no particular order- The Devil Rages On, Say No More, Cheapside Sloggers, Dagen For, A Warriors Call, Still Counting, Lonesome Rider, Shotgun Blues, Becoming, Leviathan, The Sacred Stones, Lasse's Birgatta.... Enjoy
@@noahrobidoux2954 It's not "universally despised". lol I do like the genre and direction Micheal took the band there. Especially the follow up Servant. -and I'm sorry to tell you, Rewind is in fact... Volbeat😁
@@shane1v Everything i said went over your head appearantly, it is universally despised, look up any album ranking... Its always last. And btw i meant its completely different from Volbeats actual sound, its a completely different genre
@@noahrobidoux2954 lol Nothing went over my head. It is not universally despised. That's exaggeration/hyperbole. It is not last in every ranking. It is a departure to some degree but there are some great songs on it and plenty of fans agree. I get it, it's your least fav album. I love a bunch of the songs on it.
@@shane1v dude link one ranking where it isn't last... Ill wait, and sure it has one good song, but the rest is far from what the usually make, its like Metallica after the first 4 albums

Rewind should be in the top 3.
Bruh what? Its universally despised by fans. I guess if you like that genre of music sure. But it just isn't Volbeat
