In this Falling Away from Me guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song by Korn note-for-note.
As per usual with Korn, this song requires a 7-string guitar tuned down a whole-step in order to play it the correct way. That will be, starting from the 7th string, A D G C F A D.
This one is pretty simple to get under your fingers. There are some very killer grooves though!
I will take you through each section of the song in the order that each appears on the original recording. Along the way, I will point out which guitar part is being played by Head or Munky.

Would love to see your take on it, and I trust you to get it right more than anyone else! Keep doing what you're doing (teaching the next generation of guitar players the world over). I have had no more than two formal guitar lessons in my entire life and during nearly all my time playing and learning I've been learning from you. I've got a little tip for you guys without 7 strings guitar. If you have a digitech drop or something similar, you can use a D standard tuned guitar for the clean part and you engage the drop pedal (with 5 semitones drop) for the heavy main riff and chorus.
I want one of those drop pedals but they are expensive. They cost £130 here and they sell for nearly the same price used.

Awesome, one thing though and forgive me for nitpicking. However: the second riff is slightly wrong. It's actually first the muted open low A string, then it's the Eb tritone thing, then back to low A, twice, then back to the Eb tritone and the low A again and Eb and A one last time. Most people get it the way you played it though but if you listen to the isolated guitar tracks, it's what I described above. Super minor gripe though.
