- Noah recorded us trying out my first NEW chainsaw that he and Melonie surprised me with. We had some very strong winds come through and brought down lots of trees. In this video, we break the saw in on one of those toppled trees - a 36" Hickory.

I run the same saw on my channel with felling Dawgs, Bark box, and have recently added a max flow intake. I run the 28" bar and a full skip chain. Living at 7,500' having air is a big deal. The bark box makes it much louder, in a good way, however sound is all I got with the thin air untill I added an intake. Much different machine now. Also worth noting, depending on who you ask there is a break in period with the saw and it only gets more powerful and faster. Something to look forward too. :-)
Wow, you're up there in the thin air. We are sitting closer to 1800'. It's an excellent saw! I have 0 complaints and it cooks through the hardwood. I'm in the process of putting together a full review digging into the fuel mixture and bar oil I've been running.

@@thelarewsdo worth noting....in my experience in the cold weather, the saw would much rather have the blue bottle stihl bar oil as apposed to the grey bottle. (if you run stihl bar oil) however has been hard to find this year, as for fuel I only run stihl premix in all my saws so I cant say. Enjoy it!
