Mireille, I am cold watching that rain, imagine the pilots flying out in those conditions, respect to them all for their dedication 🙏 A big appreciation for your work Patrick . greeting from afar 👍❤❤
Great footage of a legendary airplane, no matter what weather. I just love the great Boeing 707. The screaming P&W JT-3-A6 turbofan engines sound great on takeoff.
I recall watching British Air Ferries flying into Ostend from Southend in the late 1950''s/early 1960's when I spend summer holidays with my Belgian family during my youth.
Patrick this is a special livery color for a B707 looking good rain or sun. The weather makes no difference to the older planes they experienced all of it. Nice video mate catch you on the next video Patrick.
Everyone's a critic, especially since Patrick would have to go back 20+ years to get more of a head on shot. I however am extremely grateful we have this great footage of a piece of history.
@@PasleyAviationPhotography THANK you for your appreciation, was a difficult challenge to get a full sequence , due to the rain, as such making the best of it , the weather permitting , anyway ( sadly ) not many decided to videotape those gems and pioneers of the early jet age , photographers many , video : few , i was the only that time , i realised that it could end sooner than later , and so it did, last 707 freighter service was until the end of March 2002 ( TMA ) , one huskitted version SU-AVZ stage 3 soldiered on till April 2004 : the final curtain = history , best regards from Ostend , my pleasure !
Grande B707!!! Saudades deles decolando de GRU (Brasil) e passando em cima de casa... O som dos 4 x JT3D é inesquecível!!!
same over here , perfection

thanks for your kind words , the end justified the means , love the 707
Nice to see a 707 flying in 2023!
movie dates from 1999 though , heavy rain, last 707 at OSTEND was until 2004 , miss the 707
@@patrickvereecke6654 When I didn't see a date listed, I figured this was a recent video. Nonetheless, thanks for sharing footage of this 707!

Hello, I believe this airplane was powered by four Pratt and Whitney JT3D-3B turbofan engines.

one of my favorite 707's , just like the TMA OD-AGO and AGP🙃
That was good. I remember watching the TMA 707's taking off from Heathrow.
È un grosso bestione che sparisce sicuro nella nebbia❤
Smart-looking livery! He obviously didn't care about a bit of rain!
🛩 💙 🛩
neither did i , worthwhile to give it a try : classics rule
Excellent video!
thanks , was one of the last opportunities to nail this discrete but splendid livery , rain or not , just do , just me !
Love that sound!!
as it should be , noisy fortissimo sound
wonderful engineering
Awesome
Aspetta che vado a prendere l'ombrello😊
Brrrr quei bestioni non li fermava nulla...... 😊❤
sempre paratus , proprio come me😉
Ан124 и Ил 76 есть даже
Too bad there is not a better spot further down to watch it lift off from the front .... Still a great video, thanks
difficult and challenging to realise , and yes my videocamera survived , with some imaginative protection !

Cargo planes just sit there for days and days completely still and silent.
but when classics move all hell breaks loose
"Horrible conditions"... LOL Clickbait, sorry...
You got that right. Wasn't even close to horrible. In fact it wasn't bad at all.
