I do NOT understand why some people feel compelled to give negative comments, like you should do exactly what they want. They don't need to watch your channel. You're giving us inspiration and ideas. Then we do what we want. I think this is an amazing idea. You always come up with something new and different. Then I see other Crafters on UA-cam doing your ideas. Thank you for sharing your ideas.😊

Like wise. To distress means : to give simulated marks of age and wear. I've never seen paper edges turning blue or pink as it ages. I can validate different shades from black to copper (even some type of dark green) but that's it. Now, I might edge my paper in another bright color (my choice) but I'm not labelling it distressing. I'm appalled by the audacity of some comments.

The amount of subscribers you have is simply a testament to how much people like your work and YOU personally. You are incredibly easy to follow because you break everything down to its simplest form which helps even the newest crafter feel confident that they too can recreate your magic. Unfortunately some people are so caught up in their own entitlement that they tend to forget others are entitled too, which is why I love the phrase “You do YOU” in the crafting world. There are so many different varieties of styles on You tube and that’s why I love subscribing to many channels to glean something from different ones. As people mature perhaps they will realize this too. Of course if you go to the haters channel that has left you negatively opinionated comments, you’ll find that they have produced absolutely zero content. I’ve been learning from crafting channels on UA-cam since 2016 and I got to the point that I don’t even bother looking at the haters channel anymore because it was the same thing every time. Not ONE of them had ever uploaded a video of them even attempting to do what you (or anyone else) do. So I wouldn’t be bothered by their opinion of your work. Please continue to do YOU in YOUR style as YOU see fit. That’s why I have my notification Bell set for your channel, because I personally happen to love your style & feel there is always enough variety in it that I still find it interesting and can learn from you. When I want to look at brightly colored projects, I tend to search for whatever it is in the search bar and choose videos from there.
Even though I relate most of your works with a more vintage vibe/style to them, it doesn’t make the overall work itself any less unique. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if dragonflies is your preference over butterflies, then you plug that in in your own work instead of using a butterfly; Or ladybugs, or a beetle, or a spider or even a roach! You do YOU! 🤷🏻‍♀️😎

I love tunnel books! When I made them I made them a little different, they were only open in the middle, on both sides there were accordion folded paper and sceneries were glued on every second accordion fold, so when it was flat you could see the mishmash of the sceneries, but when you drew out the accordion folds the sceneries made a bigger scenery, like on the theatre stage. You could glue a door at the front so it would be like a mystery opening the doors and folding out the accordion folds at the sides! With different lightings it would be like a theatre stage scenery, and since it is an idea from victorian times I think they used it as theatre mementos too. You could also change sceneries out and make up your own stories with it.

And I could see a tunnel book showing going deeper under water, with creatures seen at darker depths. Or. Maybe a forest, wandering into a forest, or UP in the forest, ground level and climb up to the canopy like a rainforest or even a treehouse!!
Maybe a drive to a vacation spot, like from Kansas to the beach showing terrain change . Or from a big city out to a rural countryside. Even a trip into outer space 🚀. You could even have a trip into the human body or into a beehive. That little window really draws you in and you want to turn the page

Thank you, this is such a cool concept!
And I also want to say that I hope you don't stop doing what *you* like. It's nice to get other options placed out (I'm the kind of person that are very creative, but sometimes the "first step" eludes me), but you should do what makes you happy =)
(the specific thing that sparked in my brain was when you were talking about the brown inking of edges and suddenly I realised that while brown/black is probably the one that is most natural to how paper ages ... I think I might explore with blues, greens and turquoises too, because that's how copper ages)

I agree, why people comment to criticize as to why you use brown or butterflies etc. You are teaching the technique and you always encourage others to do.their own thing. I do love that you address those comments in a kind way!! So glad I found you. I'm enjoying new ideas and all the inspirations!❤❤❤

I saw the negative post, and it made me so mad! There is no reason to criticize, at all, but… If you are going to criticize somebody’s art, at least let us see YOURS!!!!
It’s like people are locked in a room and have to watch! Lol. Just click away!!
Natasa, you are a creative genius, and so very kind and giving you share all of this!!
It is 100% because of you that I have started crafting! You made me believe I could do it! And that is a true gift that you have! Much❤❤❤❤❤

How awesome is this. I just think about including my drawings and creating unique books with my fairy tales and short stories, exclusive little treasures just for my own joy or as some gifts plus - as you suggested - theme books, little theatre plays and so on. Your creativity and well explained videos are just such a joy and inspiration. Thank you so much! You gave me the absolute joy of a bunch of new hobbies and crafts and how pleasant is that!
By the way, never mind those kind of negative comments. Those people are unhappy, manipulative souls. Instead of seeing your generous videos as an enrichment and gift, and your creativity, art and awesome way to teach, they try to give you an itch of negativity. Never mind. Be sure, most people who follow you are inspired and greatful for your various contents.

To all those who like to criticize UA-cam Creators. Their video are just ideas and suggestions. They are not telling you to do exactly like they do. If you don't like what they to change it to what you like. You do you and they will do them. Absolutely love your ideas. I have never seen tunnel books before. Definitely going to try them.

A suggestion to take or leave - Try stacking the pages from light to dark or from dark to light. This utilizes the concept of "atmospheric perspective", like looking from a light room down a dark hallway or looking across a valley at some distant hills (they get lighter and less distinct the farther away they are). This could add another element of dimension to a project.
To further enhance perspective, draw some insects much larger than life (I use a technical pen). A black widow spider could be coming towards you with its leading legs reaching out. Then draw progressively smaller spiders or insects as you get deeper into the book. Or use any theme - boats, clouds, food, children, animals, plants, etc. Remember to make your drawings a little less distinct with each layer in.

Ok, you really made me laugh at the end! These ideas are great. And frankly, while I don't necessarily love bugs for the most part, if that person wants to avoid butterflies in her project-go ahead! Don't complain about other people who do love using them! I really enjoy your creativity and doing things that you then share with us. Thank you!
