My only real concern with P+ going forward is the stages. Because good god did some of y'all choose real stinkers that are way too boring and overall not enough variety.
Wario-ware and green hill are great stages. Maybe adjust the blastzones on those 2, but I would also add Pokemon transformations (keeping frozen too) because big melee tournaments have it too.

Which is fine, P+ has benefited the game in way more ways than just characters. When it comes to Isaac, Lyn, and Sami legit all is needed are people to volunteer to help work on them. I've spent the last 5+ years studying the game and modeling software with the goal of completing the cast and I do a pretty dang good job contributing. Would highly recommend channeling that energy into motivation

Morsecode has consistently won or placed high and samus is considerd mid-low tier. Outside of balance changes, i just want a better stagelist that will be comitted too. I dont want such drastic regional differences unless its for side events.

my friends keep telling me to get into P+ and I think its great, but it keeps updating and going through patches. I like getting into a game after it stops updating so I can make the most sense of it and so that my muscle memory doesn't betray me later on as the game ages. Until then I'll just keep watching this game be played.
somehow i’m not surprised that a fan mod of brawl that hasn’t seen updates for 4 years has a better competitive state than the Nintendo-liscenced ultimate, with balance patches for 2 years and frequent content updates and DLCs.
The Ult balance team doesn't have all the time in the world that the most popular fan modded version of Brawl devs have. PM has been worked on, patched and maintained by the balance team through multiple iterations since the first PM demo in fucking 2011. In contrast, the Ult dev team has a time limit on their projects and have to move on to bigger and better projects. After Sora's release, the balancing team dissolved and went to work on Tekken 8. They can't keep working on Ult forever.
I actually really dislike the attack to tilt stick change P+ did It was a big part of my neutral game with Bowser able to do instant crouch cancel jabs out of run as well as mixups on contact
My favorite is Wario. Glad he is still good. I sincerely hope Jigglypuff gets more to work with so she us not just a worse Wario. I also hope that they plan on adding more new characters and if that ends up being the case, I sincerely hope Waluigi comes next. The custom Waluigi movesets have come such a long way.
I’d say it’s now a matter of “when” rather than “if”, so keep an ear out for Brawlback and/or WhiteTPoison updates. I’m thinking/hoping either towards the end of the year or maybe beginning of next year.
I know that P+ team are against it, but I think that the only thing that this mod needs (apart for those good things like physics delay fix) is more custom characters. Imagine a new trailer where they announce Dark Samus or Sceptile fighters in P+.
haven't played or seen a peach in my whole life in this game and learning she has an aerial down b command grab was so fucking cool, and hearing it sucks complete ass because it's a hitgrab and loses to shield is hilarious

Not sure if he still does but I know at one point he lived in this pretty secluded part of Washington state, I lived nearby and would see him whenever I went to locals back in the PM 3.6 and Sm4sh years. I could never work up the nerve to ask if he wanted to hang out and practice 1-on-1, but he probably would've said no, not out of meanness but just because the dude is just on a whole other level I couldn't come close to. Been so many years since I ever saw him after I left the state, and he's only made even more of a name for himself since.

I stopped playing when P+ nerfed certain characters instead of buffing others. Removing the bayonet hitbox was just unacceptably ridiculous.
