I'd be interested in knowing what the typical servicing costs of the diesels are compared with their petrol counterparts.
I think that there is still a place for diesel, especially if towing any distance. I'd love to see a towing comparison between diesel, petrol, PHEV with same car and throw in an EV for comparison.
Good review. I like the no nonsense approach to this car & would consider one as my next tow car. Not sure if diesel makes sense on a new car though.
What’s the deal with not being able to have a towbar fitted unless towbar prep done at the factory? Almost rules it out as a contender for me.
I’m not sure he is right about the tow bar fitting! I had a removable one fitted recently no problems whatsoever!
