[3.0] v3.1 Trailer Predictions and Analysis! - Genshin Impact

- Опубліковано 20 вер 2022
- For all my fancy titling, this is more of less a compilation of random trains of thought and observations I had about the trailer and livestream (lore/story only! That means I won't be talking about the Anime or Card game announcements or anything related to the anniversary).
Now that I've had time to digest the news and process it, I AM MORE EXCITED THAN EVER!
BRING ON THE DESERT!!!! - Ігри
**NOTES**
- I know the ASIMON thing is an Asimov reference in CN. Just trust me when I say I'm going somewhere with the Paimon thing. That theory has existed in other forms since 2.5, and this honestly wouldn't be the first time the translation team has made odd choices that weirdly work with far-fetched ideas of mine. :P
- Also a CN note: I did check what Enjou said about Dvalin being a Vishap in CN and it does differ from EN. He doesn't use the same term for vishap and instead uses the more generic term for dragon but does compare him to the bathysmal vishaps. I couldn't really decide what I thought about that while writing the script so I left it out.
Maybe you’ll find it interesting that in Hebrew the word asimon means "token", as in a currency substitute used to activate machinery, such as pay phones or slot machines (which I heard somewhere are related to the reason Mihoyo named Genshin the way they did-after the sound a slot machine makes- but I'm not sure about that). Anyway, a common phrase in Hebrew using the word "asimon" roughly translates to "his token (finally) dropped", meaning someone had a moment of enlightenment, or they understood something a while after they were expected to get it. Imagine a token on the way into the machine it's supposed to activate getting stuck, and maybe necessitating a few shakes to get it to go all the way and do its job. Mihoyo frequently mess up Hebrew references, such as the Hypostases' nicknames, but maybe this one is something to do with that.
Ashikai: "Deserts are extremely "cool""
Traveller: 🔥🔥🥵🥵
Both are correct one is during daytime, another at night.
They are cold too 😐
is it me or there's ghosts replies
Wait until night.
Watch them add a mechanic that you get really hot and have to cool down. Like Dragonspine but not extreme cold. Or when you fight Signora, you have a hot meter.
"Little gremlin" "mecha munchkin" I'm crying over your nicknames for Scara 🤣
Munchkin, I can't. Now I can't stop imagine scaradouche is just an angry kitten 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just wanna know WHY he has a mecha? Like how? when? What's he compensating for
Save your tears for when we get to the scars part of the game cause there's no way she's going to stop
I already embraced susty for the sustainer of the heavenly principles hahahah now little angry Mecha munchkin hahaha I won my day!
Itto to Xiao : "Hey little dude!!"
I want to add on for Cyno: according to the Egyptian Book of the Dead, Anubis was not just a "god of the dead". He would take the dead person's heart and weigh it on the Scale of Justice. If the heart was pure, the soul would be allowed to pass through Osiris' court and into the afterlife. With that in mind, it would make a lot of sense if Cyno was from that village, especially with his title of "Judicator of Secrets"
If I remember correctly, the heart was also weighed against a feather and if it was lighter = the heart was pure.
@@bluenuttefly8813 Yep, that's exactly how it works
@@bluenuttefly8813 good ole moon knight showing this when Steven and Mark were on the ship of Reeds
@@bluenuttefly8813 and if the heart wasn't pure, it was eaten up by ammit.
@@danialyousaf6456 Oh, I did not know that part! Thanks for telling me.
The first thing I got out of the A.S.I.M.O.N was the connection to Asimov, a sci-fi writer who was influential in stories surrounding robots. But I like your P.A.I.M.O.N. theory
Also if we remove the S we get A.I.M.O.N which is similar to Aamon, the demon of life and reproduction, and Amun-Ra, the Eygptian God of the Sun.
The traveler got enough power to clash with Ei on Euthymia from just confiscated Visions and their stars. Imagine someone getting full worship from an entire country. Sumeru chapter may flesh this out more.
yeah, but Ei is also stronger than that point as well, given her sword is now back to full power
Wasnt that more of like... Traveler showing that his ideals are superior and not an actual power clash? Since in the plane of euthymia you only lose if you give up, like when Ei fought the Shogun
so bascially she got L+Ratio in an argument because traveler had all the visions going for him
I am predicting the true ruler of the abyss order to be Rhinedottir as those riffhound who seem to come from the abyss are her creations
oooooh? that'd make for an interesting twist, but what makes u think it's rhine? imo i'd say the tsaritsa has a better chance
Mmm. The rifthounds were the vanguard monsters of whatever “dark wave” of calamity that happened before (khaenri’ah, maybe even other times before). The rifthounds are also linked to marana (see Aranyaka world quest chain in Sumeru), being described as being at the forefront of the spread of marana. Lastly, the rifthounds are from a power that is “not earthly nor heavenly; it does not belong” just like marana.
In short, Rhinedottir source is kind of slim. Doesn’t seem like their creation unless 1) they were alive in Khaenri’ah before the calamity 500 years ago and 2) they really did have access to some power from beyond, not belonging to heaven or earth in Teyvat. This would mean by implication that they had a major hand in the calamity that spread across all of Teyvat from Khaenri’ah.
@@muir9257 hmm, didn’t one of Childe’s voice-lines say that his biggest enemy was the abyss?
@@blup_2504 In his Story Quest, he says that the Fatui are just as much an enemy to the Abyss as the rest of Teyvat.
@@blup_2504 i think he means the abyss as a place, given that humans can't really survive in there, and because he fell in there and came out all sorts of fucked up (he could also mean the abyss as an org tho i dont really like childe so idk much abt his lore). Also i believe that if the tsaritsa is their leader, that she wouldn't let the fatui know. It could mean them turning on her "oh so we're not enough? you think we're incompetent? you'll see how powerful we are, you ungrateful ruler" or smth like that. The fatui all have their individual goals and evidently don't get along outside of having a common enemy as we saw in their presentation trailer, so she may as well have decided to sponsor the abyss as a backup. crack theory tho as i have literally no evidence :D
edit: two seconds after i posted this i read the comment above fuck me man dfjkshdj. tsaritsa could still be sneaky tho.
P.A.I.M.O.N fully caught me off guard 😂
in the book of solomon belial is also know to be the son of beelzebul... there just so many interesting tidbits pointing to belial being scara demonic/god name
beelzebul is also another name for Ei
Ahhhh I forgot about that reference! Darn that would have been perfect...
@@zevinn6498 yes... thats why OP mentioned beelzebul as the parent of belial, because we know that ei was a supposed parental figure for scaramouche he literally calls ei his mother too lol
@@loventi7640 "calls ei his mother" where?
@@zevinn6498 (spoilers/leaks) I think they’re referring to a line that was leaked. The line was spoken by Scaramouche. “The first to betray me was a god, my creator… my mother”.
I just want Sumeru's desert to have a breathtaking night sky, like real world deserts. Lying stars be damned, dreamers gonna dream. Also frick Cruel Angel's Thesis *intensifies*
Edit: the night sky looks even better than i imagined. breathtaking
The only issue with the dottore is going to starve Nahida dry of follows theory is that, she barely has any to begin with. Out of the like hundreds of people in Sumeru; barely 20 see her as their god.
My favorite part is when Vahid in Ritou tells everyone that his fertilizer is a blessing from Nahida thus called Nahida's blessing. Meanwhile the Sumeru farmers credited the long dead archon.
@@smugsnivy5036 my favorite part is the akademiya giving self doubt issues to a child, and in the same breath trying to bring a dead god back because they can’t handle change
@@whoknowsanymore2909 makes you think of Ei don't ya think? With her not being able to cope with the fact that Makoto is long dead.
@@whoknowsanymore2909 That means Vahid has more respect to Nahida despite being a dropout from the Akademiya.
Remember the game world is smaller than in actuality. There's 10s of thousands in sumeru city

Do you think when at the end of the 3.1 livestream, Lumine said "I wonder what choices you will make, Aether." It means that our in-game choices will actually matter for once?? Would be really sick if we could chose our paths when it comes to the main storyline, like even if it's just two different scenarios for the traveler that would be really cool
Not happening. Never happening. Don't get your hopium up.
But alas since this is Aether’s (The Traveler’s story) we don’t. Plus we’re not them either, we’re only experiencing the Traveler’s story.
Nah, the choices predefined by Mihoyo. They could make 2 alternate endings like save or kill the other sibling or something but until that, I highly doubt.
Absolutely zero chance mihoyo would do something so interesting and cool
I mean we did have a few choices already. (Spoilers) In one quest where we could fight the eremites or talk it out and second, killing Alphonso or let him go (though he would be killed be rifthounds later on)
Adding sand on top of soil does not automatically make soil better quality. Processes such as decomposition, heat and moisture must be added in the process to develop better soil. In fact if you cover soil with layer upon layer of sand each year soil becomes infertile. So yes Kusanali did a good job keeping the sandstorms away.
Im proud of our little cabbage
Disclaimer: this is not meant as criticism, just as a summary of what I thought listening to your fun and inspiring video.
With regards to the wall, as a person who lived quite a few years behind maybe not a wall but country border long electric fence, I have to admit they have solid impact on keeping control over who gets the privilege of passing from one side to the other. People who lack the experience can't understand, I guess.
That speculation on ASIMON->AIMON->PAIMON is fun but if you check their names in chinese, they have absolutely nothing in common.
Yes, there will be a reason why that boss got such a clunky name instead of direct translation of its chinese name that would suit it just fine but I seriously doubt it will have anything to do with our little companion. Perhaps tribute to certain well-known sci-fi author?
I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from Aranara vocabulary either. They are untranslated sanskrit words, that's it. Their meaning perfectly fits the context they're used in throughout the Aranara quest, they just spice it up and make it sound more mysterious and magical, leaving the player up to figure out what they mean.
On Dottore and Scaramouche topic, my understanding is that Dottore is in Sumeru to hunt Scaramouche and take the gnosis he possesses, not to cooperate with him. Also Scaramouche does not seem to have any intentions to cooperate with Fatui, otherwise he would not desert with the gnosis. The fact that the trailer put the two right after one another does not mean they will appear as such in the game. If the 3.0 trailer taught me something, it is that there's no point trying to make any conclusions from how things are combined in a trailer.
The only place Kusanali can hide in absence of Akasha is Surasthana temple. That's where her physical body is. At least as long as we believe that conscience of archons is tied with their physical body which certainly is the case for all archons we met so far. The only reasonable way of getting her consciousness separate from her body is if there's no Kusanali and it's just Irminsul tree playing tricks on us. Which would be fancy but I don't really believe it.
What I liked on the recap flipbook was that it has shown us Lumine spying on Aether in many of the scenes including Sumeru. Another meeting soon...?
"At least as long as we believe that conscience of archons is tied with their physical body which certainly is the case for all archons we met so far. "
Except it isn't exactly. Ei's consciousness is in a sword, not her body. She doesn't actually even have a proper body anymore. She's basically inhabiting the sword which is inhabiting the Shogun puppet. Not entirely unlike Kusanali inhabiting the Katheryne puppet.
Then there's how the last few flickers of Makoto's consciousness survived for centuries despite her body's death.
Some sort of argument could be made for Zhongli as well. The Exuvia implies something shed (like an insect casting off its exoskeleton as it grows) from one's body. So while Zhongli himself is around and is presumably the/a physical form of Rex Lapis, it would seem he at least left some part of himself behind when he faked his own death.
And in thinking of all of this now I wonder if Venti actually just transformed from his original wind spirit form or if he's like...walking around inhabiting his dead friend's body. Ew.
@@anaplaysstuff You have a point. We'll see, I can't wait for the update.
Crack theory: Aranakin doesn't like sand, so the original Dendro archon made the wall specifically for him :)
Yes, Aranakin doesn't like sand. It's rough, coarse, and it gets everywhere. Valuka is bad.
Ashikai, some of us Scara fans are theorizing that the tubes contain Tatarigami or something very similar based on its purple colour. When you talked about "liquidized memories" it lined up so well with this since Tatarigami is also closely connected to leylines and memory. It'd be so ironic because of the little gremlin's backstory if they really did use this stuff. What are your thoughts on this?
as someone who jumped from ar 50 to 56 just yesterday as an act of impulse, i am not looking forward to fighting that monstrous robo thingy that scaramouche is in to compensate for his height 😭 (learn from dori, man, she busts the enemies' kneecaps instead)
Not the height compensation
How dare you! The hat is to compensate for his height...
The Robot is cuz it looks cool 😰
I feel like both the akadimya and aaru village somehow have a collaboration with the fatui just like how it happened in inazuma , cyno dialogue hints at a certain betrayal maybe it the npc eremite that appeared in the trailer....?
I think that Al Haitham will be the betrayer since we can see him and Cyno fighting in one of the trailers.
@@wolfkitty42 but Al haitham is not a part of aaru village to cause the betrayal , maybe cyno and haitham have opposing povs that causes them to duel
I think the point about Dottore doing his operations in the desert is true, cuz from Collei's Character Story (I forgot which one) it states that she and some other companions escaped from the desert
"bring us more varka letters" mika's only purpose lmao
6:36 saw exactly where you were going with this when you dropped the semi, and it gave me goosebumps.
The P.A.I.M.O.N. Part blew my mind
Also in the Monstadt part Ellin that one NPC always setting up training dummy quest and having Jean as her imaginary friends in Venti Story Quest finally got her Favonius Knighthood (much to Noelle dismay)
We’ll have to wait and see about that. Mostly because that is an event and it would be strange that an NPC who has daily commissions active would suddenly become a knight in an event and then continue to be a knight-in-training once it is over. Only way to follow through that is if there was a quest that’s required for Ellin to be promoted, or the event is having some sort of “be a knight for a day” kind of celebration.
Otherwise, it is probably likely a case of another NPC that has the same hairstyle since an abundant of NPCs share assets with each other (hair, body type, regional clothes).
What? Is there a quest that mentions that? If so, nice but awkward for Noelle indeed.
Honestly, Noelle gets the worst end of the stick amongst Mond 4*. She only appeared in Windblume very quickly and never again. Others appear a lot multiple times. She does have her hangouts but it was negatively received.
Sad that she's not popular enough also at least to deman screentime
Yey, another Ashikai analysis!
I see a new Ashikai video, I klick
I see Scaramouche on the thumbnail, I *K L I CK*
Coming back here after 3.1. I love that you got the part about dottore hijacking the Akasha as well as figuring out Nahida's possession trick. There's a few more things you got right but that's upto the people to figure out ehe
"deserts are really cool"
Me in Iraq (semi-desert) dealing with the 100000th dust storm this year:
In Evangelion, the Evas' cockpits are filled with a liquid called LCL, which sort of connects the pilots to the Evas. So the liquid in the tubes might serve a similar function for "Scaramouchiel".
I am really excited for the new lores and the videos. Let’s go🎉
Did you notice theres an important tree in each region, The tree in Windrise, The tree where Azdaha was sealed, The tree under the Narukami Shrine, and now we have the Irminsul, this can’t be a coincidence.
An Ashikai video! Just what I needed :D Thank you
Edit: To add to the theory that P.A.I.M.O.N may be the source of the Seelie's vitality, the ASIMON machine itself has an Ankh at the very bottom, in the middle. The Ankh symbol represents life, more specifically eternal life. Not sure if that means a whole lot, but it's interesting at the very least!
I’ve been bingeing your vids and now I have SOO many theories!!
i agree with Paimon not a name but product name. she always say "Paimon's name is Paimon"
Ahhh, I wanna hear more of your lore thoughts! I love your content and can't wait for 3.1 and your upcoming videos 😁
About Aaru village and Cyno bit, i'm amazed you didn't talk about Candace. Her connection to Aaru village is obvious as she is the guardian there, but I think she might be more lore relation to the deserts than Cyno will be.
Candace is mainly based on either Ra or Horus (I think the latter) as on her shield seems to be a depiction of a falcon with a sun disk which is how Ra is described. However there seems to be more connections to Horus with the moon motif throughout her clothes and the fact her eyes are different colors. Since Horus was the god of the sky, people believed his eyes were the sun and the moon - Gold and Blue perhaps? On her headpiece she wears a third eye, either a eye of Horus or Ra or both; since it's pretty centered. This all get more interesting once you think about how Ra and Horus were also both gods of kings; and how Candace is a descent of the scarlet king.
Extra tidbit. Horus was born from Osiris and Osiris rules over the Field of Reeds. It's likely Aaru Village has existed since the war of the gods and could have been founded by the Scarlet King himself.
Fun fact; I really like Candace
What a wonderful way to start the video! Very interesting to know about the Amazon like this.
First time seeing a video from this channel. Holy crap the voice delivery is great. Keep doing what you're doing and I look forward to seeing more from this channel.
I thought that boss’ acronym is ASIMOv Network, referencing Asimov’s three laws of robotics.
Yeah, also wonder how much of it is localisation team sneaking in references like we got with Han Always Shoots First, vs actual dev intention
I've been waiting for this! Thx for the work
Is it me or does it seem like the "war" part of the Archon War passed Sumeru by entirely? Just Rukkhadevata getting a throne/Gnosis by default because everyone else was out of the picture...
Idk maybe? Rukkha had a bigger problem; Khaenri'ah emerged from the Mare Jivari desert :v
I think we just haven't been given the information yet.
Dottore making Scara simps is so meta
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!
You have my brain going at the speed of light right now, thank you so much for these breakdowns and theories. I wish we had more videogames that provided such deep thought
This was an amazing video, thanks:)
i have neeeeever been this excited over a genshin update before, i can't wait!
Love your voice, love your theories, love your videos! 😻 Always looking forward to more ♥️
That "proper leader of the Abyss" thing makes sense, since the Abyss twin is referred to as the Prince/Princess, and not King/Queen
Just noticed that now too, cause if you are the supposed leader you shouldn't be called a princess now would you?
I love the deserts just like you do i love the flute they use in the middle eats for the desert
You are adding so much fun to the game! Thank you!
Also, I am so happy that you explained back then how Kuki was not trash! 🎉😊😊
Perhaps the eerie tubes hooked up to Scara could have something to do with the evil god juice injected into Collei? Also looking forward to your theories on Enjou!
Amazing video as always
Your videos are strangely soothing for me
I agree
Thank you for the blessing 🙏🏻
Wow I had no idea that deserts actually benefitted places such as the rainforest.Im excited to learn more next update about how genshin presents the relationship between the foresty part of sumeru and the deserty side.Cool video and awesome insights as per usual miss ashikai :D
Spectacular ideas, especially the one on P.A.I.M.O.N.! I remembered the lore from Dragospine as I was listening, trying to see if there was any connection ( if memory serves right, there was a connection between Seelies and that kingdom ). Can't wait to see what comes next!
Wake up babe, new Ashikai prediction and analysis video 🤯😁
what a lovely surprise in my sub box let’s goooo
Oh I've been waiting for this one
Love the video great pacing
The little biology, ecosystem things that you mention in some videos are a nice touch
Yess! I'm so glad u pointed out how sussy the timing for the Razor parents lore is! Nobody seems to be talking about it 😆
you're incredible ashikai
time to start part 2 of my scara spree yay its only been 32 ashikai lore videos in my playlist till this one YAY~
It's odd they didn't reference Gabriel, Uriel, Mikhael or Raphael but instead went with a 5th angel name Samiel.
(they all end in "-el" because that means "god" in Hebrew like eg the town "Bethel" or "Israel")
If you played the golden slumber quest line, there is a character named jebrael which is arabic for gabriel.
Paimon being a seelie theory would explain so much. Her guiding us and her obsession with treasure and even her floating are really similar to seelies.
When it comes to dottore theory, i wonder what would be the reason for scaramouche to let him "help" him. Since you know, our boi is literally running away from futui since he's in possession of something they really want. So as much as I could see dottore playing scara like a chess piece and putting him against us so the traveler could take care of the problem for them, why would scaramouche let dottore do anything to him? That's why i think the second theory is better but I still think it's lacking something. Maybe they are just a way for scaramouche to control and power up the robot?
Haven't even watched the video yet but I will bet my entire life savings you're gonna be right about at least 1 thing
At 10:31, btw those are not Erimites, they are actually the Corps of Thirty, you can tell by their green outfits rather then the red ones signifying the Scarlet King.
Interesting ideas as always, thank you for keeping the conversation going! By the way, I don’t think the outro music fits very well. 😂
The P.A.I.M.O.N theory is exordinary! Hope to see more video on this!
I've watched both this video and the recap a few times now that I'm replaying through the story myself to see what I've missed. Something I find interesting here is that the other characters in the recap, Paimon included, just wander around or show up on their own. Aether, on the other hand, is placed by Lumine into the scene. Every single time. Could be a coincidence, but with the correction about Aether being her brother, it makes me wonder.
I’ll be watching this once I get off so I can’t wait.
Ashiki: Asmodeus
Me: D&D D&D D&D!
HOW ARE YOU ALWAYS SO ACCURATE
Everytime a new version is on the horizon, that teases a dark story, I get worried, but then I remember everything eventually works out in the end for the traveler. Let’s hope that continues in this story.
TL;DR - weird God juice link theory
When it comes to the strange tubes of serum, I have a theory about their placement.
Scara's odd looking "plugs" connect to his back, his spinal chord. The spinal chord is linked to mobility. This gives him the power to directly power the mech through his body (and gnosis giving him godly strength and electro powers/other perks connected to THAT ghosis)
Dottore is his own special case, with the earring possibly being a "tag" or a trademark. The final piece to each clone. So long as he has his, the others will be functional. This one better suits the ley line theory.
Alhaitham's supposedly links up to his head, through his ears. What's linked from the ears? The brain. He's aligned with the akademiya. This could be an academic experiment he himself conducted, to expand his knowledge. It's glowing compartments are also similar in hue to knowledge capsules. Which, if I remember are basically memories in little containers.
Edit: the ears also could link with senses and balance. We see in the archon quest that he has tremendous agility. Not weird in genshin, but still an interesting footnote considering the odd device.
Next is color. Dottore is a harbinger under the Tsaritsa. The serum is light blue/teal. Scara has the electro gnosis, the plugs are purple in hue. Alhaitham as I mentioned has green (or so im assuming ofc), like the knowledge capsule/dendro gnosis in theory. That's a whole other theory, meaning he has a connection to lesser lord kusanali, because you'd need access to the gnosis(/archon in possession of it) in order to extract power from it.
I think the purple liquid in the tubes is archon residue aka the stuff dottore experimented on collei with
OOHH OHH THE LEYLINE MEMORY FLUID CAN BE CONECTED TO THE TREE THAT WE SEE FALLING APART WHEN TRAVELER IS KNOCKEDOUT (i forgot how its called) that also could kinda explain why its destroyed but idk yet havent finnished the full quest
(Before Vid) Ugh yes! The desert reminds me so much of the desert Halo 3 level that I love so much and I'm excited to know what you think the barrier is for only thing I could think of from the trailer was the Eremites but I don't have much to support that theory (after vid) so still not much info we have about the barrier but the scarlet king and the dendro archon each making their own version of the Akasha system is a very interesting twist
I love your videos
HOLY Cow!!!!!!!!!!!! Your Observation skills are less to none!!! WOW!!!! Scaramouche is my FAVORITE character so much so that I am willing to open my wallet to get he's C6.
I watched that boss trailer 100 times! I watched at least 30 youtubers talk about that trailer end never ONCE I heard anyone talk about Scaramouche being attached to anything inside that Robot.... I didn't notice that myself and like I said watched that video like 100 times lol thanks for sharing this info your amazing. Well done.
Evil princess lumine sitting down making little cutouts of her brother and likely some of the people she met on her own journey and maybe once considered her friends is to me one of the saddest things ever. I just imagine her sitting around waiting for her brother to show up and “understand” her reasons for doing what she does.
"all return to the everything" kinda makes me think of fullmetal alchemist's one is everything and everything is one concept which is based on a Plotino concept.
which at the same time has similiritiy with the Ein Sof version of GOD from the kabbalah, also, seeing scaramouche using that mecha makes me think of evangelion which also had jewish imagery and references.
nahida says shes the moon and the moon is also another alchemical reference as well as the sun and also alchemy was practiced by ancient egypt which is referenced in the new area.
genshin impact is a anime inspired game after all and im a weeb so I can kinda identify these similarities
i really wish i could explain my self better on this takes but my english is not that good :(
I mean in the current event with the researcher she asks if paimon is that new white floating intelligence companion. Though she doesn't really state what it is. But she did state it's white, floats, and can trade knowledge similar to the akasha.
absolutely can't wait to get more lore once we get to the desertt
1:05 - Insert Star Wars Anakin's dialogue about hating sand. I ain't feeling it, chief. I like deserts in videogame but not sand in funny places, not even in my socks.
The queen has spoken!!!
Keep then vids coming and thankz! Im Waiting for Kusanali to drop as i want to explore sumeru with her in my team. So for now im just enjoying watching
Stopping a growing desert by planting trees is actually a thing irl and it has been done in China to stop the growing Gobi desert and there are many properties of sand like the inability to hold water which make it nearly impossible to grow plants.
Waking world you seem woven from the stuff of dreams, all shall fade away...
I'm pretty sure the purple liquid in those tubes connected to scara is something similar to what dottore injected in collei with but hey i could be wrong.
you hit publish🙏
So I haven't seen ALL your videos, but there is one potentially interesting topic that I don't think you touched yet, maybe.
Yesterday night I was playing and I noticed an interesting thing on the login screen, the moon, it wasn't a full moon.
The light was shifted to the side, like a crescent moon and stuff. Maybe that gives a hint about the world structure and where the hell IS the login screen space, since you CAN see the moon, it might actually be on the same space as Teyvat.
Just something I wanted to share if, for some reason, that detail went by unnoticed.
Great videos by the way, my mind is usually blown.
My thoughts on the wall to keep out the sandstorm thing is that if the sandstorm is frequent enough it can block out beneficial sunlight and prevent plants from growing
it would actually kinda make sense if there was some sort of abyss queen/king that the abyss twin reports too, seeing as they're called the prince(ss)
Ashikai, I was watching your videos yesterday and as I explored Sumeru I stumbled upon something that I don't remember you mentioning, but it supports most of your theories about how memories are the blood of the leylines, how the twins may be capable of using the elements and such: all of the Travelers "constellations" are called Memories, unlike all other characters that uses Stella Fortuna. It may be used something like the Sumeru Irminsul USB thingies that stores information and are sold in the black market, which I forgot the name as I type this xD
Anyways, it is curious how all the characters depends on their "Star Fate" [Stella Fortuna means something like that, no?], while the Traveller just needs Memories.
Seems possible!
Hi, I am not very good at English, but I will try my best. Thank you very much for this channel, I love your lore/theories videos and your stream videos, so please, please, please don't forget to add stream videos to your channel too! More stream videos! XD
Re: the twin not being the leader of the Abyss. In, I think, the Reunited quest, or maybe a promo video, an Abyss mage refers to Aether as “my prince”, suggesting again that they are not the leader, but high up in the chain.
11:38 another Ba'al you missed is Ba'al Peghor (Pe'or in late biblical and later Hebrew dialects. It's the same "gh" in "Tighnari" that survived in Arabic but disappeared in basically all other Semitic languages. Alternatively just call him by the common latinization "Belphegor".)
Considering one of the main narratives in the bible where he appears is "The Pe'or Heresy" where he's presented as a false god a group Israelites were tempted into worshipping, I think that is a very fitting demonic name for Scara.
Also Bil'am and Beliya'al are unrelated to Ba'al, they just sound similar in English. Not sure about Beleth, I'm not sure what the Hebrew equivalent is, if one even exists.
I don't know if somebody said this already because I've arrived late to the video but regarding someone ranking above lumine in the abyss is the fact that someone, I don't remember if in-game or in a trailer, called her princess showing that she is important but not the highest ranking member.
😳 that whole P.A.I.M.O.N segment made me feel like my third eye was opened lol
