He sacrificed his life for love..for family..for them all....
The part when Hershel says "we'll get there all of us" made me tear up, implying that all of the people from the past that they've lost are still with them. And Rick says "My family maybe I could find them here" showing that Rick truly never let go of his previous family (Lori and Carl) and that he's been looking for them since he woke up from the hospital and never really feeling like he found them. Rick wants to stay with Hershel in this afterlife and be with his family again, until he finds out by the end of the episode that he has a family hence him stating "I found them".

I actualy cried the first time that i watched tid video a few years back and it still hits me
it's really crazy how shows can impact you so much and you feel like it's real but in the real world you know they're all friends alive and are having fun making these seasons.
Glad to know Rick isn't actually gone, he's just on another path and he's taking us (his family) with him.
I sure wish we could have seen that dream with everyone around that table eating and enjoying there friendship how sad its just a dream 😭😭

I've wept because to ignore art, regardless of form, is to lose my connection to life. It is perfection.
