Just got a 2023 ninja 400 in white, love it so far. The dealer told me to keep it under 4k rpm until 600 miles though... seems like a lot of miles to not enjoy it to its full potential
After 500 miles I started going over 4k to 8k max. The manual also states when you can go over a certain rpm during the break in, if you're curious. Its legit when they say don't over rev a brand new engine cause that WILL harm it. It may or may not reduce the life on the engine if you go over that before 600 miles, or even at any point but I personally think you will be fine, just don't push it too far. Enjoy the bike and take the break in slow, it will be much more enjoyable that way. Ride safe and enjoy the bike!
The screen fit on just fine, just gotta slightly flex it to fit properly. Other then that everything has been working fine since uploading. Enjoy the bike and ride safe man👍
It doesn't get in the way of anything at all and it comes in handy for navigation. The grip I have can extend up pretty far to where it sits in the field of view of my speedo and tach which is also pretty nice. Overall it's a nice addition to the bike and I don't regret getting it.
I absolutely love your bike! Surprised you’ve only put 300 Miles on it aha! I’m looking at getting a bike but I’m concerned I’ll put to many miles on it to fast, how many miles in your opinion is too many miles, can a bike have over 100,000 miles n still be in top condition as long as the maintenance is kept up with? Would love any advice.
It all depends on how hard you ride the bike. With these bikes they can last anywhere from 75,000 - 100,000 miles before they need an engine re-build. If you plan on keeping this bike that long which I know people that have kept 400ccs - 600ccs that long, just make sure to stick to the owners manual and keep up the scheduled maintenance. Daily maintenance is key as well, before every ride. Usually referring to the "T-CLOCS" Checklist. Its more or less for your own safety before each ride, but making sure everything is in working order all the time keeps you up to date and builds a good habit with your bike. Just a few good tips that I have learned from other knowledgeable/wise motorcyclists. Also, take the break in process slow. Best of luck and whatever bike you land with I hope you enjoy! Ride safe my friend.
It only took me an hour. Just unplugging some cables and unscrewing some things. I watched the official vagabond setup video for the process, recommend watching that for sure.
Congrats on the new bike! If you want a nicer sound for sure. Don't opt for cheaper ones just because they're cheap though, they can hurt the performance of the bike. As for me, I might be getting one next spring. If I do end up getting one I'll be sure to post on it. Ride safe with the new bike👍
@Noah Sticker Personally, If I got that I would use the baffle included with the exhaust, (it might already come with it on) so it doesn't hurt gas mileage. It won't be as loud but that way you don't sacrifice much gas mileage. It's a popular exhaust and I don't have anything against it, just make sure to install it correctly.
im getting this bike in a couple months, your reviews are making me more happy with my decision!!
Glad I could help man!
Enjoy the new ride and ride safe my friend.

What kind of gasoline do you fill your motorcycle with?
I always do no ethanol gas. Otherwise, if not available, 91 octane
Thank you
You should only fill your motorcycle with what the manual states nothing else because it will damage your engine
