Beartican Wolf pff, the Wraith Take SGU! SGA had at LEAST another 4 seasons in it, and PLENTY of room for the shit they tried to pack into fucking SGU!
SGU had a deep story to it, probably why it was cancelled too soon. Series with stories don't click with most viewers these days...they think episode to episode for simplex satisfaction. Cancelled too soon, like Firefly.

it's because it's Celtic theme, it's an actress from Stargate Atlantis who sing during an episode. But i thought it was Loreena McKennith from Highlander epic musics :) Check "Bonny Portmore" song name from McKennith. We have lot of music like that in Europe/France :)

Absolutely love this video. It has the best audio track of this song I've heard yet! No weird noises or awkward jumps to other parts of the song like some of the other videos I've seen.

He doesn’t even want me to watch SGU because he thinks it was terrible. We just watched this episode the other night, so I’m hoping to find an instrumental copy somewhere. Ashleigh Zearley You're welcome! I have a StarGate Marathon once or twice a year- drives my family nuts! The thing about SGU is that it had potential to do better, but it's still StarGate so I still love it! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Paula Cannon sadly there won't be a season 6. they were supposed to make a movie about how they work with Tod to fix the wrath problem but the funds went to SGU... 😢
Where did you take this soundtrack from? Most of the cutouts are straight from the serial SG Atlantis and you can hear the wraith ships above Atlantis and some computer noises and stuff. But this recording is clean...
Yep she sang it for the show, But since she's a professionally trained singer she had to be careful cause Teyla herself isn't a professional singer. But yes, it is her voice.
They actually recorded it before the shoot but both her and Martin Wood thought it sounded too much like a recording so she sang it herself again in the scene
@@gcrievous544 You mean careful not to sound like too good a singer? Yes, at first it seemed incongruous with her character. The Tela character would never have enough time to practice consistently enough to be even this good, and there are not enough numbers of her people to make it likely to have enough of the arts going for a singer to develop even this far, not to mention the other instrumentalists and vocalists. She spends so much time training her fighting skills, her mediation (yoga), going on missions, and being a leader for her people. She just found out her old friend was going to die. Suddenly she's just able to whip out this song complete with the other vocalists and instrumentalists. But after I shoved all those inconsistencies aside in my mind I just loved this whole scene.
Finally... An authentic legitimate song version... Instead of one ripped directly from the show
