    Hi mate, really interesting video, thanks for the information.
    I've just bought the same rib and also live in Exmouth, was wondering if you were around still to maybe catch up for a chat and perhaps take a look at your mods.
    Thanks Sean

      @MrKeelan74  3 роки тому

      Hi Sean, thanks for your comment. I do most of my boating from Exmouth, but as much as I'd like to be I'm not based there. Your going to love your sib, you can easily do Exmouth - Hopes nose given the right conditions on a summer evening. Sadly due to work and family commitments I've managed no boating this year. If I find myself thinking about an Exmouth trip, I'll sure to be in contact, 2 boats are better than 1 for long distance exploring and it's more fun. What engine have you got on your boat ? Any mods so far ? Try making an additional seat which is little cost compared to a genuine. Andy

      Hi Peter, T38 a great boat if you've checked out my other vids you'll see how capable it is. The T32 is a great boat too, smaller and lighter which is easier to handle and launch so may be a better bet if launch sites are going to be dubious. Think about how many ppl will normally be in the boat, the water your going out on and the weather you will be going out in. If more ppl and tougher conditions then the T38, if it's less ppl and fairer conditions the T32 may be a better bet. Where's your boating area ?

      @@MrKeelan74 hello thanks very much for the reply. Ok so would only be braving the calm seas in favorable conditions im located Merseyside. My closest slip is New Brighton which takes me right out into the river mersey/Irish sea. I am also keen to find lakes to explore and I would like to try exploring around anglesey Max number of people would be 3 thats me at 120kg 2x females 64kg and 57kg and a 10kg dog
      I will definitely check out your t38 vids. Thing that's puts me off is I will be lumping this alone as I will get minimal help from my two.
      Advice is appreciated

      @MrKeelan74  3 роки тому +1

      From what you've said a T32 with a 10hp motor would be fine, my first inflatable was a 2.65 wetline airdeck with a 5hp tohatsu, coped with a 7 mile calm sea journey with 4 adults, you'll see a T32 along with me on my other vids. As soon as it's to big it's prohibitive, you've lost before you even start. I don't know your area, if you do, great if not a few visits looking at sea conditions at various states of the tide and wind/ weather will tell you alot. Any how, safe boating, and check out alot of other ppl's videos, they're normally alot better than mine. 😏

      Thanks for comment, if you can't trailer then a air v floor or air deck would be the way to go, if you can trailer ( which ultimately will be the less hassle way) would be a solid floor and inflatable keel, I've had both the t35 ae and the T38IE2 they both have there place but the 38 or similar air deck is what you need for full fast roll up boating, hope that makes sense, also choose your size wisely depending on expected sea conditions and portability for launching. Theres a lot of difference between the T38 and t32. Happy to help with more info if required.

    Hi are you still happy with the boat 2 years on? I looking at SIBs, I want an all rounder (for fishing, diving and excursions) boat being light weight and fast would be nice ideally I'd lie to be able to water ski from it sometimes but I'm told thats not exactly possible, how do you feel about the honwave t38 now 2 years on?

    • @MrKeelan74
      @MrKeelan74  Рік тому +1

      The honwave t38 is a great boat, capable fast and light, if you've seen this video you've probably seen my others some in quite choppy water. To ski, you'll need a boat with prob 60hp min. Fishing excursions and diving can all be done off the t38 or a t35 is good if you can get a trailer for it, couple both with 15 hp or above and you'd have a good capable little boat. Questions to ask yourself, do you want or have space for a trailer, how many people will be in the boat, what conditions will you be going out in. ? Hope this helps.

      @@MrKeelan74 No my friend the noise was definitely a rubbing sound, I’ve had myself many times and it frustrated the life out me so much I’ve ended up buying lots of different mics. I bought Rhode mic’s but stupidly got it wet when filming waterfalls. I’ve now bought DJI mics and they are brilliant but doing what your doing I would be scared of getting those wet at the price.. Love your video’s keep them up. If you look back on that video every time you move the rubbing sound gets louder, it’s a cross of both wind and rubbing where the mic is. Not trying to be offensive.

      Hi, if your in the UK there's plenty of Honda stockists, it's just a case of finding the one you want to use. In the past I've paid more for the boat but used a local chandler's as it's good to have that personal link with a stockist in case anything goes wrong. Same applies any where in the world of course.

So the canister (which sounds far better than tub) is in fact just a tub, similar to a spa chemical tub, which is fixed in place by the two brackets, these brackets are cylindrical machine light brackets that I've modified. To be quick release, I try to keep all mods very purposeful. For a slim line canister that fits right up in the v of the bow, try an old crop spraying tank for the anchor. Mine works well.
