Vicki Lawrence started on the Carol Burnett Show at the young age of 19 having just graduated from high school! Carol Burnett saw Vicki perform at a Miss FireCracker Contest and Carol thought Vicki could be on the show playing her kid sister because Vicki and Carol looked alike, which a sketch was developed.
There is a clip of CB getting back at TC for always making her break. It's an extension of the elephant story. Very funny. He can't take it and she just keeps going.
This was on the most talented cast of actors in the history of television. 😅😂 It has to be the hardest aspect when it's being filmed in front of a live audience. 🤣
They taped each show twice before a different audience each time. Then they picked the one they liked better, and that was the one that was shown on TV.
If you have seen the film Gone With The Wind then check out The Carol Burnett's Show classic Went With The Wind. It's probably as well known in the U.S. as The Dentist sketch.
One of the funniest things they ever did on The Carol Burnett Show was a parody of Gone With the Wind Called "Went With the Wind" ~~ ua-cam.com/video/-8wVvGQ0P4Y/v-deo.html
Carol Burnett Show, "Cinderella Gets It On" ~~ This Cinderella spoof features Carol Burnett as the title player, Vicki Lawrence as her mother, The Pointer Sisters as the three step sisters, Harvey Korman as her fairy godmother, and Tim Conway as "Elfin John". ua-cam.com/video/sYFprizVGh0/v-deo.html

Yes live audiences made it, too much canned laughter these days in places that are not even funny lol 😜
@@BritPopsReact agree 100%
Not Carol in the oldest surgeon skit. That is Vicki Lawrence.
It’s such a shame it’s not the whole skis , they are short but silly beyond words . Tim and Harvey 👏👏👏
Cass Elliot was a singer with the 1960s group The Mamas and The Papas.
My favorite was when they did a skit from Gone With the Wind. Hilarious!
"I couldn't help myself when I saw it in the WINDOW!!!" HILARIOUS!!
The Carol Burnett Show/The Interrogator featuring Lyle Wagoner, Harvey Corman and Tim Conway as The Interrogator 😂
It's a great skit.Love it!
Yes that one is one of my favorites! Especially when The Interrogator brings out "Hitler" LOL
Have you seen the elephant story and/or the dentist visit skits with Tim and Harvey? Two of the funniest skits of all time on the show
YES!
These skits with Tim Conway are nearly 50 years old! Tim was a genius at getting his co-stars to break up laughing.
This was the best show ever.
Thank you for doing these reactions. I've been sick for years and these help me remember when I was young.
That wasn’t Carol in the oldest surgeon skit. That was Vicki Lawrence.
They sometimes do several takes so they are just recovering from breaking down so in the retake they're wondering what Tim will do next
Great choice, guys. I saw this when they first aired and cracked up even way back then. Just as funny now. Very authentic humor. Thanks guys.- Hawk
I’d like to recommend a skit which is labeled on UA-cam as “Would you spend a night in this haunted house.”
I SO LOVE that YOU-GUYS are watching The Carol Burnett Show! I have SO ENJOYED watching your reactions!! THANK YOU!!! :)
I’d like to think they’re cracking each other up in the “great beyond”!
What great beyond?!... they're not dead
@@Eowyn187 Harvey Korman and Tim Conway are no longer in the physical world. (Harvey 2008,Tim 2019)

I think you would also enjoy these other kids
Tough truckers
Cookie Davis
Maggie Smith (skit with Carol playing the queen)

Nora Desmond Billy the bedbug is a good one...
The cannonball skit.
As they say, the old days were ***** old.
