Ref: Shravak Atichaar, Gaatha Number 14 which has a line written in Gujarati. 'Unodari vrat te koliya 5-7 una rhya nahi'. This was written some lakhs of years ago. One of the reason why Jain monks have a higher life expectancy than others.
