Did you need the tss sensor plate? I have a 2020 trd off road but no sensor cover came with the grill and of course the salesperson didn't mention it.
@@vinillaguerrilla4300 the tss garnish is sold separately and you can buy it on Amazon as I did.

So your video was great. I finally did the install after procrastinating for months. Look, though, a very critical part needs review: the wires! We had to cut a hole in the corner of the fuse box to feed the wire. First cut was bad, so we severed the wire. We stripped that thing, reconnected, cut a bigger hole. That part sucked. But it worked.
Some other things were a pain or different but I was able to work through them. Thanks for the help.

Sweet upgrade. What if you want the new lights to come on while the daytime running lights are on? Is there a fuse purposed for just the daytime running lights?... thank you!
If you had looked that positive wire direct to the battery, it would
Power the lights to be in constantly (24/7). You would not want that unless you installed a separate switch just for those lights.
Just did this to mine yesterday!!! Doing the lights soon, forgot adapter piece. Awesome easy video to follow!

Reporting back that install went well. No spot for camera but it fit into a honeycomb and i lashed it with a zip tie until I can find a perm home. My TSS sensor tripped on the highway in a fast braking situation so that's good. No issues even after some monsoon rain. Thanks again and tight lines.

@@dylanvelasquez8605 Nope, still in that honey comb with a nylon tie lol. Not ideal, but not causing any issues.
I suppose you can wire the raptor lights so they are on when the D.R.L.'s are on as well.

When u put back the fuse box lid did it mess up the red wire once the lid went on ? Or did u find a way to connect it by hiding?

The glass insert is called a TSS Garnish-for Radar! Pretty important.
19:53, I noticed you only put the red 10w fuse on the bypass wire you crimped it too, but I’ve noticed some other UA-camrs and myself have a bypass that also has an orange fuse
Do both of those plugs need to be plugged in or just that 10w from the fuse box?

All 10 screws do not go back in the new grill insert. Only about 4 on top.

Hey Tall, your Taco looks great with the lights. Just got mine in and checking all the videos out there. I see you used one 10 amp fuse on the add a fuse where others used 2 10 amp fuse. I saw another video using 1 10 amp and 15 amp. I’m confused!! Any reason for this?? Help please!!

That is a great vid however the amber lights are really fkin with my ocd..ha ha...I prefer the Led bright color to match the daytime running lights.... are there any on the market?

I have read this grille does not fit with the trucks that have front cameras.

How is your sensor the same or has it changed
What size ring terminal did you use for the negative wire?
I see the fog lights are on a 15A fuse. Any problem with connecting the fuse extender to that instead of the headlights?
Jeremy Knox there is power to this fuse all the time. The fog light is controlled by a relay to work with the headlights only. One concern I have is there appears to be fault code connecting the lights to the headlight fuse. I would like to understand this more.
Did the battery terminal come with the wires?
Did your TSS Garnish fit perfectly flush in the grill? It looks like its not super flush. I'm wondering cuz i bought one and mines not flush. Not sure what it's supposed to be.

It would be cool if you didnt skip the part where you took the cover off the fuse box and the part where you put the cover back on the fuse box after adding a fuse to see how you protected the fuse box from getting moisture inside of it after adding a fuse with a cable running to the outside.
Did the lid close properly didnt see what you did .

Does anyone have that regular garnish piece? I have an actual TSS Sensor garnish piece to trade since my truck doesnt have TSS.

Wondering that myself, the only other ones I’ve seen that say they do advise to use a glue gun to secure them, which I won’t do. These like like the same grills on our trucks though.

Does anyone know if moving the PCS on a 2019 Tacoma Off Road , requires recalibration or anything ? Has anyone had issues with the sensor after reinstalling it ?
My 2019 had a recall on the PCS due to possible water leaks in the sensor.

Dude I understand that you really like you're truck, but this is a fishing channel and you got me confused with the car parts crap,and to be honest I don't care if your truck looks like a Christmas tree at night
People say that alot "this is a fishing channel" why? My channel is MY channel to put out things I enjoy. It's not specifically based on fishing only. It's the majority yes and that's how it started but theres plenty of channels out there that started off with fishing only and people would classify them as "fishing channels" but they post hunting and shooting guns and even modifying there truck just like me as well as vlogs and family stuff. So if I had to answer this comment I would say if you dont like the truck stuff just watch my fishing videos which is 99% of my channel. Appreciate your opinion.
