Yep, what this guy said. I actually unloaded mine and put it in the box to sell it twice over the last month. Both times, as I was holding it to do let it go, I just could not bring myself to do it. It’s that good.
I carried a 9mm for 34 years in LE in SoCal. Love my 19, 19x, 17, (and every Glock 9mm made and sold in the USA. I’m a Glock collector FANATIC). Since retirement however, all of my 9’s are now “safe queens.” I switched to .40s&w and I haven’t looked back. The Gen5 Glock 22 and 23 are my EDC concealed carry and “night stand” guns. The G22 for the home and the G23 for the waistband. I can handle the recoil with double taps on target. I love the extra “oomph” with a 180gr Gold Dot or HST.
Active 20 yr LEO, carry a duty G17. Had a G26 for short time, sold that purchased a G30 .45. Great gun, little tough to carry in summer months (printing). Traded my G30 for a G27 .40 S&W. Bought mine last year. I have about 5000 rounds through it. It is my favorite. Bought my wife a G45 because it's very close/ Couldn't be happier with either one.
This is the first Glock I ever bought new and now the only Glock I’ll own. I’m not really a Glock guy but I couldn’t put this one down. It’s my edc. I’ve put roughly 1000 rounds through it so far since I got it at the beginning of July. It just fits me perfectly and is a great shooter. Love the color as well. I still think they should’ve called it the 17x since the frame is a 17 though.
New sub here, I wholeheartedly agree about the 19X, with every Glock I’ve ever owned, the first thing I did was change the sights and put a 3.5# transfer (trigger) bar in them. However the 19X didn’t need anything (except a Streamlight TLR-1 HL) ! It is, and probably will be for a long time my daily carry.
I have 16 of the 33 rd mags. Ran them all back to back out of the Glock 19X - flawless. Impressed me to say the least. I own Ed Brown/GunCrafter stuff but this 19X is a beast.

The trigger on the G45 and 19X are the same , I'm going by The part #"s off the Glock website and I Own both weapons . I don't personally feel a difference at all but not all glock parts are equal. You could pick up someone elses Glock 19x and it feels different. So thinking there's a difference, it's possible.
I think Glock got the idea of compact upper on a full-size grip length polymer idea from Smith's M&P who have had the 4.25" upper on a full-sized grip length for forever.
Im finally pulling the trigger and buying this gun after watching this review and your 10k round review. Got side tracked last year and picked up a Ruger GP100 357mag but its 19x time now! Keep the vids coming brother!
I wanted the 19x but i went with the lipseys exclusive 45, and glad i did. Its a fde frame with a black slide and i can use any glock mags. Best glock ever made.
The 19x and the g45 are my favorites. In Cali you have to buy them 2nd hand at a much higher price, so I’ll never get one of them unless I move. 🤞🏻great update.
Got a sig x macro, quite disappointed. Carrying today mag catch was disengaged from magazine. Luckily it didn't fall out from the gun. Going to get a Glock 48 mos soon. First and last sig pistol I buy.
Subscribed. Long time Glock owner as well as many other brands of handguns. There’s a lot of lying out there about Glock’s including why they were not chosen for the military. All I know is that the only hiccups I’ve had with my Glock’s have come from aftermarket mags that I use on the range.
Great video. I’ve got a 19X and the a G45 that is milled for an optic. The G45 has been my main EDC for a few years now and I’ve got somewhere between 15-18k through it. Ran a Langdon HKP30 and PX4 as my EDCs (both great) but kept coming back to the G45. A complete workhouse and it’s probably the gun that I shoot the best.
19X and 45 have the exact same trigger group. There's no difference. If your 19X has a better trigger than whatever 45 you've held, the tolerances just work out better in your particular gun.
Amazing weapon, use mine for duty every now and then but usually my nightstand gun, a perfect edc as well but i switched over to my m&p 2.0. Personally, it draws too much attention for me to carry for work, but i do like it, the only glock i own and the only reason i got a glock, possibly looking for a 45 or 47 to replace it though. Mine deserves a better owner and more range time. 1000 rds through and not a single issue or malfunction
A friend commented on the wear (my IWB) caused to my G26 and I shied away from carrying my 19X. It's an absolutely amazing unit, as is my G19. I think I'll start swap'em out. P.S. I have a lot of wear too.
Thanks for this update Video! I own also a Glock 19x and i bought it after i have seen your fist video about it. It is really a very good shooting and good balanced gun! It was my wifes first shooting semiauto gun and she put the fist bullets right into the middle of the target! And yes the trigger is better than all the other 9mm Glock triggers! In my oppinion the glock 21 in 45 auto have also a very good trigger! Greetings from a suscriber from Switzerland!👍👍👍
Excellent points! Lots of owners don't know. I love the g19x believe it or not I prefer the stick trigger over the overwatch precision trigger. I however do carry gen 5 Glock 20 and I love that gun and it's a great shooter. My FN LS 509 edge is also a great shootet
Thank you for that video. I have been going back and forth between the 19X and Gen 5 which one to purchase. I will be getting the 19X now. Subscribed to your channel to see more content, Thank you
So many people bent about SIG getting the military contract. My personal bias against Glock, they do run, I just don't personally like shooting them, yeah it can be trained to, but I just don't see the benefit of the forced adaptation to a specified grip posture. Again just my issues with running Glocks. Personally I prefer a 2011. Have 2 P320s a compact and a full size XVTAC, great shooting pistols. Have Canik SFX, a SAR9, Girsan 92, Glock 17&19, Taurus G3&G2C, XDM elite and compact, prodigy, currently saving for a platypus. Have papaws 1911, and confiscated Luger, so I'm not a brand whore, and Matt is correct nearly every weapon I own is a copy off of Glock, but it's come a really long way from Glocks beginnings but Glock hasn't. Again just my $.02
Gotta say man, plenty of these gun companies, specifically the European ones were making full size grips with 4 inch barrels years before Glock ever considered the 19X. Other than that, great video and a great pistol
This is my favorite gun. I’ve owned so many hand guns and this is by far my favorite. I bought it a couple years ago and haven’t bought another handgun since. It would be hard to find a better more fun shooting gun than the 19X!! Thanks for the vid update on your 19x
19x has been my edc for a while now. Put the pmm threaded barrel and zaffiri slide on it and it runs great. Thanks for the review man!! Always look forward to your vids
I really wanted to buy sig p229 , but I cant justify extra 700 over glock 19. I thought sig p229 gonna have less recoil due to weight, bit it actually has more recoil. Glock needs less maintenance too. I wanted all metal gun , but glock 19 seems to be solid choice. Maybe they'll make affordable aluminum receiver for g19 and Ill get that too.
I have gone back and forth on Glocks for years, they are just so boring. I have been on a CZ kick lately and there is always that little thought in the back of my mind "am I completely comfortable trusting this gun to work if necessary"? I decided to trade a few CZs and get a 19X (as it is pretty much the only Glock I have never owned). Ran 200 rounds on the way home at the range, and 20 rounds of critical duty and I absolutely trust the gun already. Something about this one, it feels different than the 45 for some reason. I hate the color, but the reliability is there.
You shot a gun 15,000 times? What the hell man? You're going to break it. You might as well start releasing the slide stop on an empty chamber if you're going to be that reckless. Haha. I just got to shoot a G45. Basically the same as a G19x. It's not bad. I still like the 19, but I wouldn't spit at a 19x or g45. I don't like the G45 front slide serrations though. I think they're ugly and I've never thought it was a good idea to get anyone in the habit of grabbing near the muzzle of the gun for any reason.
Prefer the g45 only because it doesnt have the lip on the grip limiting mags. Otherwise it's the same and I love that the 19x is fde and looks amazing.
Bought my 19x on my 21st birthday as soon as the gun store opened almost 3 years ago. Love the pistol and has about 3,000 rounds on it now. Have you ever shot the civil defense ammo? Kept having failure to feed stoppages with mine. No other issues though just that one specific ammo. Just curious. Love the videos! Especially the 19x ones, ur 19 x is probably the only one with documented high round count and updates. That I have found anyways. Thanks for the great content and have a blessed day.
I’ll have to give civil defense another try soon. I’d be stoked if it ran after all the rounds iv fired through it. When I tried the civil defense when I got the pistol I thought that the 19x just didn’t like the shape of those bullets or that it didn’t like the fact how light the projectiles were. (Just a guess). Either way I’ll try them soon and update when I do Just to verify.

Personally, it draws too much attention for me to carry for work, but i do like it, the only glock i own and the only reason i got a glock, possibly looking for a 45 or 47 to replace it though. Mine deserves a better owner and more range time. 1000 rds through and not a single issue or malfunction
That recoil control is great 👌🏽
Love mine. Best Glock ever.
I think I finally decided that I want one of these 19x’s… I carry a 17 or 43x right now.
A friend commented on the wear (my IWB) caused to my G26 and I shied away from carrying my 19X. It's an absolutely amazing unit, as
is my G19. I think I'll start swap'em out.
P.S. I have a lot of wear too.
Txs for update appreciate your update on Glock 19x i. Txs for sharing your experience
I agree with you, the G19X is by far, the best Glock ever! This and my CZ P10C are , for me , the best strikers on the market.
Subscribed to your channel to see more content, Thank you
Yup...my duty pistol 🔫 love it all day every day!
That's like my duty gun, you have the sale TLR-1 flashlight too. Great video!
Cool video. I have 92FS Beretta and I also have Glock 17, Glock 22.
All pistols should look like this before we're given a final review! #patina
Imo best Glock ever made. Love my 19x
I'm glad I found your channel
👍 thanks!
I am glock a guy for sure . I absolutely dig the Glock model 19x and Glock model 45. Those are my favorites.
Great Video! I just bought a new 19 X yesterday.
Other than that, great video and a great pistol
but are they as reliable? probably not
@@WopJr beretta px4 storm definitely is, HK vp9 is close, but most will say Glock is king of reliability so those ppl would say nothing is 🤷🏻♂️
No one said they were the first. The commander size 1911 ring a bell?
Got one, love it
Earned a sub when u said you’ll pick a 19x every time ☺️☺️
Thanks! And thanks for watching!
I am new to the firearms world. My first handgun is a Glock 47. My second one will definitely be the Glock 19X.
I own bot the 19x and the G45 and my humble opinion is the triggers are identical and very typical Gen 5 Glock triggers.
You rangin em bells like the jingle bells boyyyy
I run 19x lower 17upper w/dust cover alphawolf 5.2inch threaded barrel ss guiderod 13lbs recoil spring best running combo ever❤
I’m sorry but the “carriable” 4:20 min part killed me 😂 I was struggling to justify that one myself 💯
I’ve wanted a 19X ever since Sootch00 debuted it in January 2018. Finally got one 5 years later and I’ve loved it.
Awesome!
I actually swapped the dot connector out with the standard glock trigger connector
This is my favorite gun. I’ve owned so many hand guns and this is by far my favorite. I bought it a couple years ago and haven’t bought another handgun since. It would be hard to find a better more fun shooting gun than the 19X!!
Thanks for the vid update on your 19x
Thanks for watching!
Outstanding video as always!!!
Thanks bro!
19x has been my edc for a while now. Put the pmm threaded barrel and zaffiri slide on it and it runs great. Thanks for the review man!! Always look forward to your vids
Awesome man! I appreciate it! And sincerely, thanks for watching!
You should do updates every 5k rounds until the glock gives out lol
Man, I wish I could. But it would take years and I've already nearly lost count at this point.
@@RTTGunsGear true that thing would probably never go out🤣, appreciate the updates on it brother your the reason I got my 19x lol
@jayace40 The last Glock I had that I actually shot to the point where I considered it "shot out," was a Gen 2 G19 and it had over 40K rounds on it.
@@RTTGunsGear sheesh😳
@@RTTGunsGearCan't you send a old Glock back to Georgia and they replace all the worn parts for the cost of shipping?
Prefer the g45 only because it doesnt have the lip on the grip limiting mags. Otherwise it's the same and I love that the 19x is fde and looks amazing.
Just got one today thanks I made good choice 👍
Been waiting on this vid🔥💪💪
19x is great but I like the G45 because it comes in MOS and non MOS. I like a RMR on all my Glocks.
Great video, BUT, I can't look at my G45 the same way after our conversation the other day. I feel slow when I put it on everyday. 😂
Lmfao!!!! 🤣😂🤣😂
The 19X is my favorite 9mm Glock
Bought my 19x on my 21st birthday as soon as the gun store opened almost 3 years ago. Love the pistol and has about 3,000 rounds on it now. Have you ever shot the civil defense ammo? Kept having failure to feed stoppages with mine. No other issues though just that one specific ammo. Just curious. Love the videos! Especially the 19x ones, ur 19 x is probably the only one with documented high round count and updates. That I have found anyways. Thanks for the great content and have a blessed day.
Ammo can be weird. Only way to mess with that would be the old spring/guide rod swap. May also work itself out over time. With over 3000, try it now.
You muzzle control is stupid good.
Still rockin mine
