With that said, I can't help but wonder what a Philips CDI port of Killing Time would've been like. Atlantis already proved that the CDI could do first person shooters. But what about a first person shooter that heavily uses FMV?

@@randybutternubs4647 It simply lacked the horsepower for 3D fps. As for FMV shooters, they're shooters on rails, they could certainly run on the CD-i, but they're boring and repetitive as f. after a while.

All the songs in this game are magical and pure 90’s goodness, but my favourite is the Level 5 Theme at 10:46. It’s like music that would be perfect for a TGIF lineup family sitcom, mixed with music from John Hughes movies and the first Beethoven movie. So good.

This is an oddly serene and relaxing version of Tetris, which is weird considering Tetris becomes one of the most stressful games you can play.
Props to the developers for making the playing field feel like it belongs in the environment; look at the bottom of the playing field and it's nestled along the grass, sand, stones, etc instead of being pasted over the center of the screen.

Perfect for Jeopardy. It makes me wish I was old enough in the 90s to work in an HR office. Sitting next to a big dot matrix printer and going to the PGA tours and to the Wimbledon with the office team. None of that crazy hood shit I had in the 90s. Just a peaceful and estute life. @@NintendoComplete Hahaha I was thinking about department stores that were a mainstay in our lives that aren’t around anymore and the first one I thought of was Sears. Then I thought, what is a cheesy, super 90’s pillow/comforter/curtain collection they would have sold there that I could mention from around that specific period? The first thing that popped into my head was “Kathy Ireland”. It was so random that I couldn’t believe I remembered that of all things - and trust me, I am not a fan of throw pillows or whatever items that were part of that collection, so that makes it even more random. Those were good times though. Seeing the fmv backgrounds and super early-mid 90’s aesthetic of this game really warps you back to a specific time in the 90’s of the CD-i, 3DO, Sega CD, Jaguar, the period of time between Windows 3.1 and ‘95 etc. Great times. I miss those days - the world was much simpler and I think happier place in general. Anyways, just my two cents. Thanks for the reply!
