      Penn, so if EMS wears of botox faster (in your test) then we should conclude that micro current does the SAME! My plastic surgeon really recommended to stay away from micro current while botox is still active anywhere on my face!

    I love getting my Botox, I’m booked in on the 17th to have my twice yearly dose of it, Yes, I get 6 months out of my Botox and at least 2 years with any Filler I have done, it’s just the type of skin I have, actually I’m over due this time round with having my Botox because of my skincare I’ve been using over the past months, I’ve noticed that I haven’t needed it until now, I’m really looking forward to having it done again, there’s nothing really on the market that will give you the same results as Botox, I’m going to have a little put into the corners of my mouth this time round also because I’ve noticed since I’m ageing @60++ that my mouth is getting a little droopy and I can’t be having that, I don’t care what people think about me having Botox, if I can keep my face looking younger and more lifted then I’ll continue to have it done, I always do it for Me and it makes Me feel better about myself, I’ve got a great injector that I’ve been going to for years and she knows my face as much as I do, always do your research on injectors because there’s some really bad ones out there. Happy Holidays Penne and your family and a Very Prosperous New Year filled with Love, Kindness, Peace and Happiness. Best Wishes from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺🎄🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻❤️❤️….and Thank You for not being one of those that are against having Botox 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 and being Honest about having it done yourself, So many on here claim that they have had No Botox but if you’ve had it done yourself, You can tell whether they’ve had it done or not. No One in their 50’s have an absolute wrinkle free face with absolutely no lines around their eyes and forehead. 🤔🤔❤️❤️❤️

    That’s interesting about the zinc supplements because I noticed that my botox lasted longer this year! I thought my injector had some sort of magic (she is amazing). However, I recently started taking zinc supplements! And what’s crazy is that my old injector put way more botox compared to my new one, so I know it’s not just in my head that the results are lasting longer! I noticed an extra month or two, and who wouldn’t love that?
    It’s amazing to hear how great zinc is for our immune system AND wrinkles. Thank you for continuing to educate us with your knowledge 😇❤️

      I get Botox regularly and have had filler over the years. At this point now I have about 1/2 a syringe in my lips (this is very new for me-I didn’t used to EVER want filler in my lips. I do it now not for volume but to shape them the way I want).
      Where it looks like I have a ton of filler (my cheeks) I actually don’t. I just have big cheeks and always have. Just looking at my son’s school pics today and he has my cheeks (he’s 12) and it made me smile 😊
      I used to have filler under my eyes but I dissolved it.
      I do get sculptra injections-that is a bio stimulator that helps grow your own collagen). I do that in my temples (just started that) and the frame of my face.
      I think that’s it?
      Oh! I had a TINY bit of restslyn contour put in my malar break (it’s a line in the cheek where the malar pad creases).
      These are of course all spread out over a long period of time, not all at once.
      ❤️

    Hi Penny
    I see lots of videos on winter skincare focusing on hydration but they never seem to take acne skin into consideration. So should acne skin types not use exfoliating cleansers and leave on in the winter time?

    • @Kendralovesskincare
      @Kendralovesskincare 2 роки тому +1

      I'm obviously not Penny😊 but I have dry hormonal acne prone skin. On top of that I have to wear a kn95 masks daily which is a nightmare for my skin. My skin Always gets so dry in the winter. What I've found to be helpful is layering light essences with beneficial (for my acne) ingredients as well as adding extra layers of hydration. Lately I've been using the One Thing toners/essence's. They offer one ingredient so you can choose what is most beneficial to your needs. I'm enjoying the propolis, artemisia, centella and houttuynia cordata. These are specific ones all have benefits for acne prone skin, while adding light layers of hydration. The cosrx snail mucin serum and all in one cream are great for my skin because they are hydrating while helping heal up breakouts. Hope this helps😊

      @Kendralovesskincare 2 роки тому

      One other thing, in the winter I tend to use more lactic based chemical exfoliators as lactic is "hydrating" in a sense. I will still use a BHA cleanser and toner a couple times a week but not as much in the winter since it tends to dry my skin out more in the colder weather.

      I think you need a new dermatologist. I am 1000% sure that you do NOT need any of that to be beautiful!!
      For me argireline is at night right now and it’s only spot treatment.
      I used to do it in the morning (spot treatment) 3-4 times a week on days I don’t do acids or l-ascorbic acid.
      Now I do it at night with my serums and just between my brows and outside my eyes. I then go on as usual.
      1-2 times a week I will try to add a dermaroller to that area as well.
      It’s really a matter of remembering 😬.
      I’m trying to make it a habit ❤️
      I’m so sorry you had that experience, no one needs any of this stuff to be beautiful.

      One time when I was in my 40's I went to my usual injector for botox and said I think its my crows that bother me the most and told him I didn't think my forehead was that bad. He said something like "oh honey, yes it is". So, of course, I got it there but what the heck?! I'm 55 now and still think my forehead isnt really that bad. Of course it looks better with botox but he really shouldnt have said that. I was clearly ok with how that area looked. Just like everyone else, skin experts are all about their "thing"...A painter is going to notice if a house needs repainting more than the average joe, my optometrist friend notices if someones glasses aren't the right fit or shape for them more than the average joe, etc etc. We have to take these type of comments with a grain of salt....the difference, I think, is that these peoples opinions concern our looks, which we are much more sensitive about. Just something to think about with our skin care journey!

    Would a higher percentage of Argireline be more beneficial? Lotion Crafter has a wrinkle defense complex that is 55% Argireline and 45% Matrixyl 3000. The smallest amount they sell is 0.25 ounces which if I add it to 30 ml of hyaluronic acid will give a 25% Argireline and 23% Matrixyl 3000 solution.
