I've just ordered, The Ordinary Argireline Solution, 10% off on Amazon and the Skin Republic 10% Matrixyl 3000 Serum off Amazon Prime. So I'm super excited to be getting those tomorrow. You can top up your natural levels of Collagen, which I do with Proto-col's Pure Collagen Supplement is not suitable for vegetarians. A great supplement as it has so many benefits for the skin, tendons and muscles, and even my hair is thickening up, my face plumper. Add those two great products you reviewed into your skincare which I do with some great skincare products that you love and work for, you then you're going to see great results. I currently use some great Gatineau Paris skincare products. Some contain Bio-Retinol Bidens Pilosa - a natural retinol alternative to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles without irritation, which I love. Alaria Esculenta Marine Extract - skin-firming algae. And other collagen ingredients used in their other products. That was a great, honest, and helpful review. Thank you, Sarah.

Then I studied better the question and found out information that peptides that can make difference, that really can do smth with your skin can’t cost 8€. If the product contains peptides it doesn’t mean that these peptides penetrate where they must penetrate. The sistem of ingredient delivery is much more important in the case of peptides. I love The ordinary, I absolutly adore their acids for example, but their peptides don’t work at all. A sad thing because the price is so so good😩

I'm no dermatologist or pharmacist... but... surely this cannot in any way be freezing any muscle groups by 'any' degree. It cannot penetrate deep enough into the skin in order to have that effect. I was under the impression that if a medication starts to transfer beyond the skin surface then it is classed as a drug and has to be prescribed. I'm assuming that in reality it is plumping up the surface of the skin to provide a temporary minute effect, for as long as it is used. As usual, the manufacturer's responses are very careful with their choice of words and data. This is the problem with this endless parade of elixirs that promise the world. The marketing is actually quite clever; "why pay hundreds for Botox when you can have an effect for $10!" At $10 its obviously worth a punt... you use it... convince yourself of a minuscule change... then realise that it doesn't 'really' work. Meanwhile, those $10 all start adding up. The reality is much more simple. Stay out of the sun and start using full sunblock as young as possible. Job done.

NO, I am not just giving my opinion without having used this product, I used it for a year and it does not make any meaningful difference to mature skin so just be mindful of that, if you are in your late 20's early 30's, it might soften your skin but not to the point where you can call this "botox in a bottle", all the best.

Within ten minutes I couldn't make some expression and laugh lines wouldn't form around my eyes. I could really feel its affects, the area I applied with didn't feel numb but I could feel that the muscle was constricted. The affects lasted for a few hours but the more I used it the more longevity the product had. Anyone who is considering botox, please purchase this first, its safer and cheaper.

Your review is a little suspicious. Botox (which is stronger) done properly doesn't make you feel like this. Within ten minutes you couldn't make some expressions, and could feel its constricted effects? Please research the professional you went to before going again- he or she doesn't sound too good and might do you serious harm.

@@mcovelloful it’s not really suspicious, why don’t you try the product for yourself. I also have thin skin which means it may be more effective for me than others. The peptide works by targeting the same snap protein 25 that Botox does but rather through adsorption than injection. It’s formulation with a high water content makes it’s more digestible for the skin therefore may increase the time relevant rate of effectiveness. It’s also cumulative permeation which means it works via entering through the pores etc. do some research and read some studies it’s very interesting.

The Ordinary is great but I’m sprinting toward 55. I love my skin and take care of it with a good sunscreen, nice products, and retinol. But realistically the only neurotoxin in a bottle that will absolutely work has a syringe sticking out of it. When I was 27 (the age of the speaker) my skin was flawless. Best advice for the long haul:
Sunscreen. Careful selection of ingredients. When you start to see wrinkles that bother you (and you will) visit a well reputed professional. And then put on more sunscreen. It’s worth it.

It's quite hard to describe, but it's not expensive, so I'd definitely recommend trying for a few months (morning and night), to see if you like it.
    I'm never without it! Lol
Btw, I'm 41 and DO get fillers and anti-wrinkle injections, but I don't get/need the anti-wrinkle around my eyes and feel that argireline has helped with delaying crows feet. I also wear sunscreen religiously.

I think a lot of aging is just genetics. 🤷‍♀️ And this is coming from someone who does use skincare products and does do some small cosmetic stuff as well! (I started young but didn’t really need it- just wanted to prevent stuff). I have a feeling some people just look older than others. Yes; perhaps smoking a lot can age you or having darker skin can make you look younger. But ultimately I think it’s a generic thing (removing ethnicity from the equation of course) in terms of will one person look younger than someone else. I even remember when I was a child in school. Some kids just looked older even though we were all the same age.

    • @ophilianecr
      @ophilianecr Рік тому

Genetics have sooo much to do with using anti aging products, not just how you look. If you have very pale, sensitive skin, you may not be able to use retinoids, peel off masks, anything fragranced, or even certain pharmacy sunscreens and moisturizer. Others have strong skin that can take a chemical peel with ease!
Ive been a smoker for 18years (on and off), I use good skincare, use spf mekeup, I use anto wrinkle creams around my mouth (prevent smoking lines) i don't let myself tan at all because most sunscreens smell so gross I do t use them. AND I've been in drug recovery for 5years!!! I have been told I look like I'm in my early 20s even though I'm 37,😌 There's no way my estee lauder and clinique skincare took care of all the damage!! But for sure, other smokers or recovering addicts I've seen look BAD! 😨
Oh, and having kids also ages you. Women my age who are moms look older than I do, and I used to do hard drugs! 🤣😅

Botox in a bottle wtf is that again (click bait marketing from thee Ordinary) ?
I am a doctor (not dermatologist but resident in neurosurgery) and Botox is is a neurotoxic protein produced by a bacterium. It prevents the release of the neurotransmitter that helps to contract muscle, thus causing flaccid paralysis.
If this would work properly with REAL, First of all, all the areas you applied it would be paralysed, for the wrinkles to “vanish” with Botox you have to reach the muscles.
It’s argireline which calmed me right away 😂, it can helps without the paralysis side. Good option but the percentage is something to take into account for it to work. Still new In cosmetics so, you do you
I do myself use Botox for involuntary movements in neurological disorders or in chronic migraines (which I do get inject for myself as a chronic migraine patient) and I observed the decrease of even facial expressions wrinkles depending on where thee injection site is.
A huge waste of money and potentially dangerous just don’t buy this and accept having natural wrinkles here and there.

to people labelling older women here as jealous or tagging this as prevention to justify this promotion- umm firstly the older women are NOT JEALOUS, all of them were young and nobody stays young forever so, that's a ridiculous thought. secondly, she's not promoting it as prevention but solution. solution will be valid if you're having a problem and can show the difference which she can't. lastly,i have seen my aunt try this. she was always about skincare, this isn't botox in a bottle. try matrixyl instead or get botox if you have no other way.i have seen her try this, she didn't recommend. i am 32, i have seen and got advice from dermatologist and they recommend niacinamide and hyaluronic acid at my age. not wrinklerasers because it won't work . in twenties and early 30s they recommend beinf hydrated, use sunscreen, cleanse, and definitely use products which will keep ypur skin's elasticity or prevent it from fading fast.

I use The Buffet for gua sha and my skin is so damn soft, plump and my pores have gotten so much smaller. I was using The Needleless Serum by Drmtlgy but The Buffet is much cheaper and gives great results.

Omg.. you use the buffet for gua sha?? Doesnt it dry up?? You shoukd use an oil.

Since I do it in the morning and dont wash my face, I dont want to use any oil. The serum is moist enough for it to glide. I drop it on my neck first, gua sha and then my cheeks, then gua sha, and then drop it on my forehead and gua sha. I do not do it all at once or it does dry up. I mist rose water if it is drying but it usually stays moist.

@@Joannabanana1989 ah, makes sense. I love my buffet plus copper peptides. I could never gua sha with it id feel like I was wasting it. What i do is use hemp seed oil, it doesn't break me out. I do it in the morning then use a hot washclothe and remove the oil. Then go on with my face routine

I have used Hempz lotion before but never the straight hemp seed oil. I am a skincare collector though and will try everything! I gua sha at night using a cleansing oil/balm as well. I am trying it twice a day to see if it makes a difference in my chin area. My cheeks have definitely gotten less puffy and more sculpted.

@@Joannabanana1989 i have tried alot of different oils, they all broke me out. I stuck with the hemp seed because it never ever does. You get it at the health food store.

is this girl nuts? you cannot get prettier? and she's talking about botox? look over at Hedy Lamar. she destroyed her looks with all that mad stuff. she ended up looking like a burn victim? leave your face alone? stay out of the sun? don't smoke and age gracefully? i've been told i look 40, i'm 55 and feel like 70. because of running.
stick to swimming.. is there a bad looking olympic swimmer?
