I am actually on their prostaff because I have not had any issues with it. It does say in the manual though not to use in less than 4ft of water. If you use it under the correct conditions it works very well for a small budget fish finder. Also it mentions in the manual that it will only work up to 100ft is the limit.
RTFM!
Video starts at 2:08
He blames user error on product error not a good review bud. Read the instructions
You really need to read the manual first. I have found it very accurate when used according to the book.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
You might try reading the instructions before reviewing the product.
I've never had any issues with it and I use it on my jon boat. Seems like you just got a defective model. ReelSonar is a great brand and I will stand behind them. I've mapped out a lot of fish on it and it has always been tried and true.
I'm.glad you posted this.
I got one and pathetically tested it but it seemed to have worked pretty well.
Tomorrow I'm going out for the first time looking for bluegill and really use it.
Thanks for this reply.
Hey man, I dig your entertainment on IG, but the 90% of UA-cam commenters have got to make you ask yourself if the issue is with the product or maybe you, in the case.
Great now try it after you read the instructions
Prior to seeing ur video Ryan I was going to buy this unit. Thanks for the positive review you saved me $90.
I recently bought the Hawkeye 5x Fish finder. I bought it off Amazon for 99 bucks. Let me tell you, it was money well spent. It works great and it's super easy to set up.
You got a review vid ?
Ill have to try it out!
Yeah you didn't read the instructions. Has to be at least 4 feet of water
The Fishes you see nearly water Surface but not register on your device/ finder - that's are out of Sonar Angle Range... 🔺
Does it work for ice fishing?
I wouldn’t buy this because of its limitations but the limitations are stated in the manual. RTFM, bud.
Very true but reading it and testing it all a part of it
Sup Ryan, my brother has one, think I said before lol, but it's great to gauge depth because in RI 8' is kinda deep lol, and his is black??? does show blots/fish but can't tell much more, but definitely better than nothing, oh there are upgrades I believe? Great video, people should try this if bank fish especially. I'm not good with technology, don't even know how to create an email 🤣😂, our club pont has manmade sand barges and it picks them up, cast out to it it's only 3' then drops off both sides, Tyvm tc 🎣
If you knew how a transducer works you’d know why it won’t see the blue gill in one foot. Most transducers show a 20 degree cone. The circle of area you can see on the screen is 1/3 of the depth your in. So at one foot your seeing a 6 inches of data on the bottom
I think you should try other portable fish finder
any recommendations?
I keep having issues keeping it connected to bluetooth
Okay now do a review on Coolbaits underspins.
Ill have to check them out! Thanks!
Ive got one , its awesome, id go buy another one if i needed to
I got one I bobber will not work less than 4 ft
The manual specially tells you to not use it in 4 ft.
Dude.. you are kind of negative.. it's the first time using it lmao
Moral of the video is: buy a Deeper fish finder instead.
I haven't tried them but DONT buy this one lol
I wish I would have
@@RyanRiggedIt's your own fault that it didn't work man stop it lol
I got one and I don't think it's very accurate I wish I would have spent the extra money and got a deeper pro instead
I agree! I need to check out the deeper myself
Maybe I need to do a review 😮
fish where at 3'
Doesn't stay connected, when it is connected it says 10' of water is 50' deep. Thing's a p.o.s.
This guy has 105 thousand followers on instagram but not even 10 k on UA-cam 🤔🤔🤔
Lol UA-cam is not the easiest to grow but maybe one day!
Not sure about the iBobber but the review was a waste of time. Read the book.
You should probably read the directions and understand how to use a product before you shoot it down. I use mine all the time and don’t have any issues.
space cadet
Im going with they sent u a defected model.... or or user error lol..... now that ur playing with it send it to me i need one those lmfao jk bro.... now can we get to some real bass fishing lol... if ur done playing round
He only replies to people who agree with him. Lol
I don't get much time to reply to everyone sadly...
SORRY VIDEO. Even a solid device cannot over come a dense fisherman.
Don't be mad I'm saving people money!
Dude it is user error. Don’t review products when you have not read instructions. You just waste peoples time. I have one and it works very well
Might try reading the manual first chief. The numbers are the depth of the fish, no the size....also, it's not that accurate in shallow depths
Look I'm just gonna be frank with this.
A $100 fish finder should be able to do more than fish a radius under 30ft (which is more like 15ft) and be able to properly gauge the depth in a pond.
The fact that it has so many limitations is truly why it's worthless in my opinion. BUT go ahead and do your thing.
@@RyanRigged I'm just gonna be frank with this.
An individual doing a review on a product on UA-cam should have some understanding of the product including the product's limitations. You review the product -even commenting "Don't buy this one," - and say you wouldn't recommend, yet all the funky readings you got from it are because of your own incompetence and your own operator error.
@@mattf2146 Agree. Video itself is worthless when there is no understanding of how to use it.
@@adamr8628 I bought the IBobber shortly after seeing this video and I took it with my sons to our lake house. The IBobber worked really well, and we were able to get over some good fish and bring them into the boat. It worked flawlessly for me and my sons. Not everybody needs a $3,000 fish finder, and a $100 unit works well for their needs. If you're going to review it...understand the product!
