I have to say you are the best providing information. Easy to follow you, am a pretty novice fisher person and understands everything you are explaining. Tired to watching the super duper fishermen, they lose me right from the start talking BS.

I used mine for the first time this morning. How do you know the location of the fish on screen as it relates to the bobber in the water?
you can't tell for sure. its like any other fish finder it send down a cone into the water are reads whats on the bottom so say your in 5 feet of water the cone is usually going to read about a 10 foot circle on the bottom. usually it doubles the depth. so that fish could be anywhere in that circle

It can be used in any lake or ocean in the world, but no deeper than 150'.
Can you use the Ibobber from a boat in a river?
yes but your gonna have to turn the speed up on it. good way to find the deep holes
It depends on the river I use an ibobber on a 12 foot boat on the Blackstone river... I'm on a part of the river that is directly connected with the Blackstone river gorge (docked less than a half of a mile from the waterfall) it works fine unless you are at the "rapids"
Have you used it in unfamiliar spots and ended up successful?

Does the water need to be clear or it doesn’t really matter🤔
Rolando orozco clear is better but you can make it work by turning sensitivity down.
clarity of the water doesn't matter it uses normal sonar just like any other fish finder

but really you should go to a pond that you dont know has bass in it to be legit also it is a known fact that ibobber in 4 feet of water or less is inaccurate and tends to show some crazy stuff on the screen.
Yeah that would be a better way to test it for sure! But I was just trying to show you guys how to use it.
