Thank you algorithm. I’m a decade behind you, and have rediscovered my love of the bike, and trying to make up for the time I allowed myself to lose. 1:12 This. So much this. 😂
fact. yep definitely daunting to just go straight at it... it took a while to think of setting up a way "ease into the vertical-ness".... that and constant verbal abuse by the local crew def made the difference. So glad you found the bike again, I've been through a few cycles of that... stay with it, it will continue to bring nonstop joy, challenges and an essential escape from life's busy-ness. Endless thanks man
Don't know why the algorithm sent this to my feed, but I'm a 49 year old BMXer who has been trying to get myself back into riding again, and this was inspirational. Started riding in 1987 and it's just in my blood. Cool video, thanks!
absolutely excellent, that is excactly the goal, to keep the stoke brewin' & the wheels rollin'.. positively psyched this reached you ..and this weekend pick up your bike and roll around ...make it happen
hahaha! , simply a lifetime of making my halfass bike silliness look remotely interesting through the use of low camera angles and snazzy editing. Thanks so much man, glad you got a kick out of it
I'm stoked that UA-cam recommended this for me. I haven't touched my BMX for a couple years, and thought about selling it. I'm a bit younger than you but I've definitely been wondering how much riding I have left in me. I think I need to quit complaining and start pedalling.
absolutely... I've faded in & out over the years to do other bike stuff, but BMX is where we all came from and this is where I continue to find the most challenging happiness life has to offer. The hardest part is making time for the fun stuff. We need that to balance life's sometimes continuous hurdles. So yes, ride a bike, any bike, just ride... and continue to do so. Endless thanks man.
ha! endless thanks man, its entirely due to a lifetime of desperately trying to make halfass tricks look decent with low camera angles and fancy editing...
Im 42 and I dig and ride religiously. In Seattle area theres dozens of dudes my age and older, we meet at Greenlake Jumps every Friday when the weather is good while also maintaining our own spots in the meantime. Most of the guys have wives and kids and careers but still make time to pursue their passion and ride some kids bikes merely for the fun in the moment. Life is short enjoy🤙🤙
absolutely, this is what we do, this is what we've always done .. it's continuously challenging,it's continuously rewarding & it offsets the pressures we have elsewhere in life... stay rollin' & diggin'
Bravo! 👏🏾Keep it RAD for us 50 and up riders! I'll be 56 next week and still ride skateparks, dirt jumps and some old school flatland tricks.
heck yeah man! we gotta keep it rollin' as it's always provided special place for all of us ... all that matters is now
