I’m excited to hear who you all think has the best table in BMX! I’ll start by saying that I have always felt that Chris Stauffer and Justin Inman have some of the best Tables out there! Please comment your favorite and we will add them all up for next week’s video!

Larry Edger is the first to come to mind with the table! Dude goes so high and has so much style especially with the Table. Also, Gary Young and Chad Curley have notable tables. If downhill MTB can count, Emil Johansson needs a to be in the mix for best table too.

So stoked for this. I know you boys weren't born yet but surprised to not see a mention of Eddie Fiola, Ron Wilkerson, RL Osborne, Woody Itson, or Bob Haro. Glad to see my very favorite Scotty Cranmer listed with the legends of the sport where he belongs.

I was surprised that some of those old-school guys weren't mentioned as well. However, when I consider who most-likely voted on this, I'd say that the old-school riders were the ones who influenced the riders who influenced the people who voted. That being said, what an amazing group of riders represented on this list!

Scotty, this is a good list, but I think your list may be the most influential in the past 25 years. If you go back 50 years, you would end up with some more names to consider...Guys like Eddie Fiola, Martin Aparijo, Ron Wilkerson, RL Osborne, Dave Volker, Woody Itson, Dave Nourie, Brian Blyther, Mike Dominguez, Rick Moliterno, Dennis McCoy, Matt Hoffman, Bob Haro, were the pioneers of BMX Freestyle. These guys got in vans and drove around the country doing shows to promote BMX. They were the stunt riders in movies like Rad and Quicksilver, and the first commercials featuring BMX tricks. They invented the tricks. They rode skateparks before it was called park. Without them, BMX would not be what it is today. Matt Hoffman is by far the best promoter and the X-games took BMX to the next level with the riders you have on the list. But who influenced Matt? Who influenced Dave Mira? It was the old guys listed above.

It's interesting to see how perspective shifts from era to era.

    Evel Knievel 😉
At least they were my influences when I was a kid in the 90s, along w/ many others from that era.... I can't say enough good things about that era in BMX. It was the most influential thing I've ever seen that spoke to me and made me feel like I wasn't weird for loving my bike so much.... As a matter of fact, it guided me on my path in life because everyone in my town was doing drugs and BMX gave me an outlet and a passion that molded me as a person as well. It made me what I am today and I wish everyone could experience the same thing.... I will always be living a Life Behind Bars because of BMX. 😉❤️😊

thank you Scotty! For your possible future video about the OG influencers who influenced this voted upon current list, there are a lot of shout outs already in the comments. But there is something to say about the STYLE of the old school riders that tend to be on your commenters lists. For one, vert riders that over rotate and tend to be already at 180 at the top of their air, maybe shouldn't even be on the list (e.g. Ron Wilkerson). There is a unique and masterful execution that takes place when a rider is still parallel with the coping when at their highest point (Brian Blyther would be the best example of this, THE MOST unique style at height). Rippers like RL Osborne or Woody Itson were mostly flatland trick oriented, and as great as they were, didn't influence as many people that boosted the highest aeriels. Everyone talks about Eddie Fiola a lot, and sure he was a little more OG than Dominguez and Blyther, and certainly one of the most influential, but for some reason at least imo, wasn't a standout as much as them. Blyther clearly had the most original style amongst any oldschool rider, think "The Flying Chicken", and in later vids of him riding halfpipe he RODE THE WHOLE RAMP, huge airs and back to back 540's all day before Mirra came on the scene. Fiola and Dominguez battled it out for many years, as Michael being the younger underdog, but at least in my eyes there was a deeper radness in Dominguez's riding and was always the standout. Maybe because he was just the little shit kid who had a natural gift would be the reason that in peoples mind Fiola was the king? Can-can, no-footed can-cans, 540`s, 900`s, 1-footed/1-handed inverts, tailwhip flyouts and the best lookbacks in the business; add it to the lists as Domnguez pioneered our sport and truly possessed the best STYLE. Shout out to @supernoobsmith5718 for mentioning my favorite and most influential rider. He went as high on a small quarter pipe back then as many can do today. One can always judge this, when seeing an air that is clearly higher than double the height of the ramp size. Thank you Mike, you are a true legend, we owe a lot to you.

Chris Doyle & Mike Aitken folded some good ones. One of the most iconic Aitken tables is out of a bank to wall ride on a shipping container where he does a perfect inverted table out of it. I think that was from SquareOne’s Wide Awake Nightmare.

Aitkin i'd say is the most directly influential, with huge numbers of people not only doing tricks like him, but dressing like him, setting up their bike like him and just wanting to be him.

that was my list! Had a couple other names like Garrett Reynolds and Dennis Enarson but I don’t think they’re old enough. Also super cool with the post accident clips of yourself! That’s more than I can do on a BMX!
