I know there is a new video for AVC van prep but I find this one just as useful as you spend more time on the other nitty gritties. Thanks again for being awesome. I swear that YouTUbe algorithm is not being kind to you. But these videos are so useful. Maybe because it's Ford-centric (smaller audience...i dunno).

Can you guys to a Ford Transit prep for leaks. I know that there areas where water can get easily in rain such external side panels, roof ect. Thanks. Excellent video, which more companies did videos like this.

This is some really great and helpful content. Excited for more to come out. I’ve got a few questions. What do you use the rivnuts on the ceiling for? Couldn’t you just screw the furring strips into those rivnuts on the ceiling? What about rust for the self tapping screws on the furring strips?
We use an 8mm Rivnuts in the ceiling to hold up Unistrut for our cabinets. We also put a section of L-track on the passenger side to help support the ceiling and make a uniform bend for the front ceiling in the high roof vans. I'm not too concerned with interior rust on the screws. If you are use SS self tappers. The Furring strips provide a screw base for the ceiling and allow for even screw placement. Also helps a little(and I mean a little) to gap the ceiling from the ribs to slow down thermal bridging.

There not really much behind them, just contoured metal. The airbag inflator it nested behind the very front of the block. The main advantage to keeping them is its much easier to finish the area. If you remove them there’s a big gap.
I have a medium roof, trying to save as much head room as possible. With this method of furring strips and roof panels what’s the total thickness of your roof material? Also do the 8mm rivnut fit all those factory holes with drilling?
Most of the factory holes will accept a 1/4-20. We use a step bit to open the holes up where we need to allow installation of the 8mm. We like 8mm because this is what Ford is already installing in the walls. Then all our hardware is the same. We fur out the ceiling with 1/4 birch, then install our ceiling that is also 1/4" total thickness would be 1/2" plus foam and fabric... maybe 5/8"

Video was very informative; however the woman singing over your talk sounded like she was in pain making listening to your talk a chore! Why so many UA-camrs feel they need some "Crap" music in the background a must is beyond me!

You do a great info video, but would be improved without the music, it makes it harder to hear you when singing starts.

Our floor system will fit the LR, but we do not offer wall kits for the LR model. we just don't see a lot of them through our doors.
