    Could you use 3M 90 for this application? What is the advantage of using 3M 74? Thanks for the great videos, going to try some of this upholstrey on my new van.

    Super helpful instruction, thank you! For those of us who don't have wall panels covering the edges, like around the window do you have any advice?

    • @AVCRIG
      @AVCRIG  2 роки тому +1

      It depends on your window in that case. A clamp on style window like a motion or CRL can capture the fabric edge. It can be a challenge otherwise. This is why we finish our walls the way we do.

    Great videos! How many yards needed for side and rear doors and foam blocks above doors? Thanks

    • @AVCRIG
      @AVCRIG  2 роки тому

      Thanks! Five yards would do it, but it's always better to be safe than sorry. You can find the fabric used in the video (Byrne) on our Website: avcrig.com/collections/all-products/products/byrne-upholster-fabric

    Thanks for the video. What is kind of foam is that? I didn't see it on the list. Thanks again.

      It’s called Landau

    Thanks for this very practical video. What is the density of the Landau foam that is included in your kits?

    • @AVCRIG
      @AVCRIG  2 роки тому +1

      You know I’m not sure. I wasn’t aware Landau comes in different densities. It is 1/8” if you are curious.

    Since you are sold out of fabric what is your recommendation.

      I’ll check the website tomorrow when we’re in. I have a feeling there’s a stock level disconnect. Thank you for asking!

    Could you get 5 yards of PU leather and apply that instead of the fabric, using the same techniques you have shown here?

    • @AVCRIG
      @AVCRIG  2 роки тому +1

      Basically yes. You will need to test your adhesive though. Different materials behave differently. Wrapping the edges will change a bit too. You may need to staple that kind of material.

    Great videos!! But i think it’s time to invest in proper lighting so we can actually see what you are doing!

    ...mask up

      💯 I mentioned masking and PP in our blobs video. We wear charcoal 3M masks when we’re working in the shop.
