- Hey everyone! Final Fantasy Brave Exvius dropped a bomb on us this week with the announcement of Orlandeau finally appearing in the summoning pool! Along with him comes a gigantuar weekend and King Mog event! FFBE sure is gonna take up a lot of our time and money this coming weekend!

The Chosen 1 the funny part to me is that studies have shown that the cheaper you make your micro transactions the more money you make. like if it was 1000 lapis for a dollar, I would probably buy lapis like crazy and would've easily spent like 50 dollar on this game by now, but with how expensive it is now I would rather not pay at all
Sad thing is, they would most likely not be changing the price as long as whales like Ziss are spending $8k+ on the game.

I hear you man - I spent 65 tickets and 20k lapis on the players choice banner and didn't get a single rainbow. I guess it's time to start praying to RNGesus for a Landeau pull with the event tickets and dailies hah

As for why Endless Turn is named the way it is, you could look at "turn" as "turning", or "dancing", and sleep, paralysis, confusion and stone all prevent movement, or, in this case, dancing.
I guess I kinda like the Player's choice banner before Orlandeau because it has an overall better selection of units that either A) can help make a powerful team or B) have amazing TMRs to work with and you get trust moogles! I may be a little biased because I got Gilgamesh but ehhh ' -' didn't really do much for me yet.
Anyway, comparing the choice banner to Orlandeau banner, I would rather pull 3 zidanes than 3 lawrences or Snow vs. Soleil. I highly doubt I'll pull Orlandeau so...I don't really care that I'm all out of lapis and tickets for it. I'm hoping everyone else and my friends can pull him though! Need more happy people and of course, 100% bonus o:

I just can't wait until we get some of those Character enhancements that make units like Dark Knight Cecil better.
I'm glad I held onto my tickets. I was debating dropping a bunch to try getting Cecil or Noctis if I lucky. Instead I've got an 11 pull worth of lapis and around 20 tickets ready for Orlandeau. Wish me luck

Hey +Claic Yuzolt my main man, excellent video as always. You seem a little disappointed in the Monster Breastplate, though. Like to point out it is light armor, so the other BiS would be Brave Suit from Ramza. Ramza is a five star base though, so that's unrealistic for most people. Also, Light armor is what Olive wears, and as you know, double hand doesn't boost percentages, so Monster Breastplate going to be better for her. And of course, the obvious +12 mag for Exdeath.
Oh, and I believe they called Soleil's "Endless Turn" because of the way dancer's spin. I guess the idea is she's spinning so fast the debuffs bounce off her lol

I'm so mad that they put up the people choice banner right before Orlandeau. I spend the few tickets I had and my free lapis to try to pull a Chizuru, which I never been able to pull. I knew Orlandeau was coming soon, but I was expecting him in a couples a week, not right now, that why I allow myself to spend some tickets on the people choice banner.
In another topic, you may, or may not be aware of this, but Japanese game like to use French words in their game, or get inspired by French for their characters names. For instance, Soleil is the French word for Sun, and the the "eau" at the end of Orlandeau's name is inspired by French as well, as "eau" in French is pronounce like the "O" sound. So Orlandeau name is actually pronounce Orlando, like the city. Anyway, cheers man, keep up the good work with the videos, I watch them a lot to get my info on this game!

as a f2p player, I feel really good not going all crazy on the people's choice banner cause I basically have all but noctis so yeah, 15k lapis all for Thunder God Cid! been saving for this moment!!

My wallet isn't ready for this D: I really needed Noctis from the current banner. Claic you gotta get hype for that monster BP on Exdeath, it would be worthwhile to get one of those just for him.
I've never gotten a *5 base besides the free Y'shtola. I might actually put some money into this because I really love Orlandeau!
You could put that monster breast plate on exdeath for the mag and it takes the place of demon mail, considering how hard a brave suite is to farm up.
Claic, Soleil is pronounced "so LAY" and is the French word for the sun.
I like how they made something that you would use Lapis on and THEN brought in Orlandeau.
Actually didn't mind having the players choice before as I finally got my Noctis after some pulling. We'll see how hard I go after Orlandeau here.

This banner got Noctis and enough Cecil and Zidanes to get DW and Excaliber, all for 90 tickets, not bad to f2p player (also got Dark Fina on a 250 one previous banner)
Oh boy, active players are gonna go down so hard after this banner. Everyone waiting for it forever and a half and when it arrives it's a disgusting trap banner where nobody is worth a damn except the very elusive Unicornlandeau. So many players will quit, bitter because they saved for months and pulled hundreds of times or blew three months' worth of rent and got only 300 off-banner Mustadios.

after being burned by the olive banner, im not gonna put any more money into this game so if i get Orlandeau, great. but if i dont im not gonna let them rope me into spending money. my only nat 5* is Noct and i dont expect that to change anytime soon
jordan wanamaker Luck works in amazing ways. I got 2 Olives on the first day of the banner off of normal pulls while not even trying to farm up for them. But in comes the PC banner and I spend a week saving up but get absolutely nothing good
well, i kinda saw that one comming (as everyone XD). spend my tickets, got two cecils, two zydanes and that´s it.
seems like i´ll be saying good bye to my last 5k lapis and hope for the best.
My thoughts
1. the plan was to drain everyones lapiz on people's choice. You should of all known that, same thing happened with lightning and last peoples choice.
2. I'd still pull on peoples choice if i was f2p, very good banner.
3. i really like the 3 star base TMR on orlandeu banner. I'venever tmr grind any magic or healer stuff so a easy staff with mp 15% seems really good. lawrence TMR also look really good, for units that cant wear demon mail this will be really good, as not likely your gonna have a bunch of brave suits laying around, i have not done the math, but my feeling is its gonna be best in slot for olive too, she has 6 att less with black belt gi then brave suit, with how all the double hand stacks with hard att stats on equipment, this might ever put her slightly ahead of brave suit.
so yeah im pumped for this banner, all my gaming budget from my mobile games is going into this banner, other games will have to wait, ive had a long bad luck streak so hopefully it turns around on this banner.
The hype is real!!! Finally Orlandu!
I used all my 10000 lappies and 49 tickets to get Noctis(got him tho), but now I want Orlandeau!

Dang Homz, I had the same reaction this morning LOL, "The God Father of Final Fantasy has arrived" ...after 6 months wait no change $$$ left for Orlandu :( .... I spent it on PC, trying to get Noctis (Got Gilgamesh Which I didn't have) So I guess it will be only 7 summoning tickets and hope for the best!!!
I liked Lawrence's TM. Its not as good as brave suit, but i dont have Ramza and most likely i'll never have his TMR. Lawrence is a 3* base, i can get lots of him and farm one tmr for my Noctis
The last Players Choice Banner came right before Noctis iirc.. sneaky if true.
for anyone thinking about spending money on the upcoming banner because of how OP orlandeau is.... I suggest you think very hard about it. none of the other units on that banner are any good and you never want to pull on a banner because you're aiming for the lone 5* base unit... it just won't end well for you
I'll struggle just to get a 3 star base banner unit for a 50% bonus XD
Hopefully Ramza and the older FFT units give a bonus off the bat, not needing to wait a week like the FFXIII for Lightning's bonus.
Man I wasted alot on the peoples choice. BUT I did get what I needed not what I wanted. Needed dual wield wanted Noctis or Gilgamesh. Im just down to a few lapis and a few tickets maybe I can snag Orlandu. A chance is a chance I guess. Good luck on the pulls Claic.
After spending 25k Lapis and 79 tickets on the PC banner and not getting any rainbow. I was devastated. Seems that this game doesnt even want a rainbow to drop for me. Upside is that those pulls gave me my 2nd Excalibur and almost done with my 2nd DW. So I guess it works out.
I was so confused why that was happening with the Auracite Chosen news button on mine, but looks like it's not just mine. :-P

well i also was also going all in on peoples choice banner spending 20k lapis and 55 tickets :o
but i endet up with 1 sweet sweet noc 4 zidanes so i dont regret anything being at 450 lapis again ^^.
at least i can try get bonus units from 10 tickets we get from king mog
i net 2 zidane and FINALLY got cecil... so i'm satisfied. cause now i got a gilgamesh from long before... and 4 zidane....

I feel like the reason the players choice was only 1 week was because Gumi didn't want players taking the raid tickets from Orlandu's event and using them on player's choice.
Would be cool if in the future we got FF Tactics A2 units like Luso, Adel and Illua
Lawrence tm looks good for Noctis if you don't have a Ramza and his Brave suit.

\o/ I saved up 10k Lapis as F2P then pulled for the People's Choice banner (got no 5 star base) despite having a hunch that Orlandeau will get released the week after. I love life.
ive pulled all blues on the daily pulls since peoples choice came out.. not a single yellow.. yet alone rainbow lol.. only rainbows ive pulled so far was Dark Fina on her banner and a Luneth on the Queen banner from daily or summon ticket pulls... and im only rank 50
pulled about 80 times on this players choice... finished excal, 0-100 for second dw, got gilga, many very nice moogles. only 8% from ring of lucii. rather have all that than a shot at orlandeau.
by the way everyone and anyone who reads this you can essentially cheese the elt raid version for the lapis xD you'll barely get any raid coins doing this but you'll complete the missions getting 100 lapis. Step 1: make sure you have a unit with escape (I was surprised that it worked), step 2: either have dark fina or Mercedes or someone who can deal water damage, step 3: don't bring any items and then boot up the elt difficulty, then finally just use like water damage skills or water spells, dual cast black magic because you need to cast 3 or more then make sure your unit with escape uses escape xD then you'll "win" the fight and get all the missions competed xD lol

make an Orlandeau build vid please looking for what tms to use since all my ability slots are full with dual weild, blade mastery, the exclusive materia and 30% attack.
Honestly a little upset with the player choice banner 2 11 pulls with my free lapis and I got 1 zidane. the discount pulls I got a zidane and cecil. So for 500 lapis I got 2 people and for 10,000 lapis I got 1. Don't get me wrong I got some other units like duane... and more nines because why not.
Lawrence's TMR wouldn't be bad for Exdeath or 6* Golbez. Not top tier, but not trash either.
Also, I was kinda hoping this event wouldn't be King Mog. We just had a Mog event, now the raid event, the cactuars, and ANOTHER Mog event. The grind is unreal.
Not to mention, why does it seem like they always do cactuar dunes during farming events and not non-farming events? I always have to begrudgingly skip stocking up on cactuars because I don't want to miss out on unique items from King Mog.
I wish they'd make the units from mog events a little better, they're the only ones I pull on.

I wanna build up Lapis and tickets again, not dump it on trying to make pulls for characters i don't want/care about for the sake of 2 swords -.-
monster breastplate isn't a bad tm its the best in slot light armor for non fist users for someone like firion who cant wear heavy armor this is much better than black belt gi and since i dont have ramza for brave suit
i will only do tickets and my daily here. I got Olive off a ticket, so maybe I will get lucky again.

Looking very forward to Pulling my arse off and not getting an Orlandeau, this way I can be salty about going for the top tier unit and failing. At least I managed to pull another Gilgamesh during the players choice banner, and maxed one Dual Wield and grabbed a second Excalibur for my non-existent Orlandeau

I must used every will power I have to NOT spend all 42 of my tickets (regret spending 40 on Olive and not getting her) at the start of the event! Ok sure getting 11 more tickets on King Mog may not make a difference but I liked to spend all tickets at once if I don't get him from daily.
Honestly, the FFXIV banner is a great example of how little of a chance you have at getting a 5 star. Y'sho (whatever her name is) is the only summon beyond 2 others. I must of summoned around 40,000 tokens worth. Got 3 of the 3 star's TM, and 1 of the 4 star's..... Not one 5 star...
Speaking of her, rng was in my favour cos I got her days ago but I wasn't super lucky getting her so early like some people. Still you are right thought. Rng will be rng cos I was able to get Gilgamesh from daily summons a week ago (good timing) and when Noctis was up, I was able to get two of him and I didn't whale at that time at all (had enough for 11 pulls).
The breastplate is great if you dont have ramza and his tm as it offers good defense and pretty ok atk since thancrads armor is only for him on glb
IMO, it's good for Exdeath, who doesn't have access to armor with MAG on it.
Dragonridaz it is actually BiS for Olive. With all the doublehand stacks it gives her 33 attack as opposed the the 28.5 from Brave suit. Marginal difference but that opens up a Brave suit for someone that takes greater advantage of the % stat increase

Sup Claic! I finally got my first TM, Dual Wield! Im F2P so every moogle went into him, now throwing that on Elza as my only base 5*, her normal attack is barrage due to the twin lance, shes absolutely deadly

I am at a crossroads, but decided to use my two free summons for the people's choice banner. Then spend maybe $20.00 for pulls on the banner with Orlandou. So, the trinity is Orlandou, Onion Knight, and Titus is that right? I wasted 90 pulls on player choice banner, did not pull 5* and any chizuru...ill do dailys and burn the event tickets for any FFT unit because i love FFT.
I dont have any 5* unit and i play since first FFT event, i would be as happy pulling Ramza or Delita or another Agrias as i would be happy pulling Orlandu, but gacha hates me anyway.
I gave up playing when I got no rainbow from 30k lapis and 35 tickets. There are so many 5 star base character, yet the chance of getting a rainbow is about the same as when lightning first came out.
i wouldn't give up playing, but i would give up on pulling for anyone that's in a rainbow crystal.... i did pulll elza AND gilgamesh but haven't seen ANYTHING since then cause all further rainbows was crap like shadow until gumi FINALLY gave us "base pulls only"....
except you can get Y'shtola.... enough ifrit raiding will net you her regardless of if the raid coins give her or not
also, you need far more than 30k lapis and 35 tickets to go after multiple rainbows..... chance of a rainbow is 1% chance if it's a banner unit, 0.5% if it's not... so, that's roughly 45k lapis per rainbow.... if it's all 11 pulls. you should have seen ONE rainbow with all those pulls (cause you did about 101 pulls with all that), but if it's a non-banner one.... takes 200 pulls to see them
1% for rainbow! I got really frustrated saving all those lapis and ticket and not getting a single rainbow. I think I have a good team, but they come out with better character that are impossible to get unless you spend money
honestly, the best you can do is just go after the 4* bases.... a lot of them are really solid units and you honestly don't need to get the meta ones like noctis and olive to do well.
if you DO pull a good 5* base, then more power to you. but i'd just farm zidane and maybe bartz (depends on how valuable you think doublehand is) for their TMs and go from there.

2 things Claic 1) I heard that JP has done away with all this "exclusive unit gear" garbage, any idea of when that will come here? Pisses me off to no end to see something that's somewhat decent that's exclusive to a character I'm never going to use outside of bonus points for an event. 2) Are you and Ziss going to have an Orlandeau pull off? :D
