In Australia, the hole in the ground could belong to any number of creatures including Wombats. Wombat and Fox dens can look very similar.

Beautiful. Great work. It seemed as though the kit knew you were there, the way it kept looking right into the camera! How accommodating.

Really cool! My only encounters with foxes were chance encounters. Need to actually seek them out, as I want to get some good photos of them!

Thanks for fox footage and how you found a den. It always strikes me that fox are thin and it is exaggerated in the kit whose legs look thick. The kit's face is less pinched and is cute.

Great vid. I'm a keen photographer and I'm hoping to get some photos of foxes in the wild this year. Making that one of my missions 👍

Nice job, thanks for sharing. Across the bay in Delaware we also have a lot of red fox, but they can be hard to find. I have hopes of getting some kit shots this spring if I can.

That is awesome you got some great shots of them! I wonder if the pups would play with a dog squeaky toy if you left one by the den. I just moved and was walking my dog one night and came across some grey foxes and have been leaving them some food here and there. Im looking for their den so I can set my trail cam up and will hopefully see the pups in the spring.

I’m glad you liked the video and that’s pretty cool that you found gray foxes. They’re a much more shy and secretive than their cousin the red fox so a trail camera is the way to go.

Those are actually the Ethiopian Wolf, a similar looking yet much rarer species of canine.

what kind of camera and lens are you using?

For this video I used the Canon EOS 4000d with the Opteka 500 mm lens. It’s a pretty good setup for anyone getting into wildlife photography/filming. Recently upgraded to the Canon EOS 90d and am saving up for a newer lens.
