- The search for wildlife to film and photograph never ends!
As we all know, finding wildlife to photograph can be tricky. Depending on the species you could spend all day trekking over a mountain, getting lost walking in circles in a woodland or getting bitten to pieces crawling through boggy undergrowth all to come away empty handed.
And whilst I am not going to pretend like there is a magic fix to all this, in my years embracing the inner nerd and searching for wildlife I have found a few things that helped and hopefully they can help you too.

Gutted you didn’t find the bird, when I heard your friend try and do it I thought of a dove for some reason. Suppose it’s a mystery until next time :)

Bird sounds like a Raven call, but not it’s normal call, but sounds a lot like a corvid. It’s definitely not Turtle Dove unfortunately but still sounds good for Raven!

The problems with walking around is wildlife will spot you long before you see them , the secret is to sit and wait , and wait , and wait , and then wait more .
