I haven't finished the video but I, a woman, can say that I've learned more from you than most people. I didn't even know men had legit issues until you, Roma. My mom taught me all women's issues come from men and that toxic women are the fault of men and that I should be afraid of all men. I've learned to be more sympathetic to men and to not generalize them and to also be better for future relationships.
I've stopped being afraid of half the human race because of your videos. I've learned to look at myself and not be so double-minded toward men. I've learned to be a better person to both men and women from you, Roma. If that's internalized misogyny... Then the very first true feminists were the most misogynistic people EVER because that's what they were like.

She's not wrong tho... the girl was just mad... Roma has several porn videos that we all watched... and she has been in an off and on relationship with Caleb for years... she then becomes a stream line mens rights activist, while raising her kids, "finding herself," and figuring out how to change her alternative narrative to be "accepting" of forms of toxic masculinity and femininity. I love roma... but she clearly suffers from severe misogynist daddy issues. I mean why do you think she strives to be a mother and try to protect men lmao... she is y'alls queen and you won't ever see it any other way. Unless you prove me wrong somehow and show me she isn't all those things from the steaming piles of red flags she eminates sure... she is a positive influence on the internet. The better question you should ask yourself is more, “ Why is your answer immediately to men’s rights, wtf!?” When I’m sure if it was titled, “women’s rights.” I’m sure that wouldn’t even have been in your vocabulary. This just enlightens more on the very problems Roma is discussing here. Why the lack of equality? That’s a question we all need to be better asking ourselves. Why are we merely judging all men based on one or two’s actions. Women get highly upset when being judged by another previous women’s actions. Why should we likewise then do the same to men? This foreboding characterization of men as evil, heartless, emotionless, cruel, non caring about us is not true over the broad spectrum. And, just as Roma points out is clearly a indecent act to single out an entire gender as evil. When you don’t even know the person at all period. Acting like every man is a pedo, or rapist, or murderer is just unhinged, and in finality insensible.

Also, when PEOPLE posses toxic traits, it’s ok to attribute those to their gender if they are male, because negative traits are inherently associated with being male. However, if the person with the toxic traits is female, then those traits are a result of some external factor that caused her to behave in that way.

"Real Feminism" EVERY time I hear that from a feminist I KNOW they're about to start spewing bullshit. Feminism is not about elevating women by raising the ceiling for women, but lowering the ceiling for men so that men cant rise high enough to even match women's current ceiling. It infantalizes women by blaming men for all of their problems, and caricature's all men as being guilty of every sin a man has ever committed, and even some that they didn't. Feminism's actions do not match their words, which means they are either a liar, or a hypocrite, or both. Not going to respect the opinion of toxic lying hypocrites.

So many anymore are simply just ugly to men to the point many are even committing suicide etc. Its just so out of hand. Generalizing an entire gender based on a few bad eggs is just wrong. Regardless. There’s good women there’s good men. But to cross the street rather than pass a man simply because all men are rapists ..? No that’s horrible ideologically. Not all men are predators. "Mah internalized misogyny!" I hate terms like that because they're clunky and don't make the most sense. Seems more hyperbolic than anything; a major exaggeration, and attempt to sound more intelligent and call someone something very ugly in the process. I think the more appropriate term for these frequently false allegations would be 'low gender esteem.'
Just because a person doesn't have great respect or admiration for their ilk doesn't mean that they hate or oppress their own kind. And when listening to the often fair criticisms that aren't well liked by said community - because narcism - I see absolutely no justification in using harsher terms to address those people. Simply put, Chloe's view is period accurate, which makes high gender esteem extremely difficult for any intellectually honest member of the community, and it's completely unfair to describe her as any form of misogynist - as a female herself - just because she [appropriately] criticizes women.
It's this kind of popular political idiocy that prompts more and more women to walk away from the third wave of feminism, in favor of egalitarianism instead. However, egalitarianism is always the way forward when communities need to be depolarized.

I'm a man, I just needed an outlet for my thoughts and this seems like the best place to put it...
As a 7 year old I learned to drive a farm tractor (reaching for the pedals was hard XD), I was told that "this is a man's job" so you have to learn it. I was scared at first but afterwards I was proud of it, and I literally told my mom that "women can't drive farm tractors", she quickly proved me wrong and she immediately gained more respect in my view. Why did I think that though was because I never saw her drive before, she also literally told me "it's a man's job"... I was still proud of what I learned, and I gained more respect for my mom.
Then school started and I got bullied for the next 9 years, mostly by other guys but there were a few girls too. I had trouble developing any social skills (I may be on the autism spectrum, never diagnosed), I preferred to be alone and didn't have any friends. Later on a high-school all the girls in my classroom were disgusted of me and they would let me know it too, I stopped talking to girls and women after that. Though I don't know if I can really blame them, I was miserable all the time in school and I developed a collection of unfavorable behaviours like picking my nose and pulling my hair.
College was completely different, different people and no more bullying, I had no idea how to handle it so I didn't speak to anyone unless I absolutely had to.
My mom and dad were arguing about something one day. I don't remember what it was... I remember my mom telling me that the "Man is the head of the family but the woman is the neck and controls where the head turns". I remember feeling disgusted and my relationship with my mom took a serious hit. Did that mean that the man is just a shield for the woman's decisions? It made me very cautious about women in general, can I as a guy trust any woman then?
After college I was living home for the next 5-7 years, not knowing what I should be doing with my life, too afraid to meet people, too afraid to do anything in public but the absolute minimum. Video games were, and still are, my escape to somewhere where I feel comfortable having fun. During those years I had a couple of run-ins with karens and radical feminists and my mom started making fun of me to other people, I didn't really have an outlet for these feelings so they kept piling up. I was on a serious path to becoming an incel, though I recognized it and was constantly fighting myself to take my frustration out in other ways. XP
Every year I heard and thought to myself "This is the role of a man, go to work, work your butt off, take care of your family and shut up". And if a man fails, they fail the entire family. The pressure is a lot and I couldn't take it, so I didn't even try.
I met my wife online, I commented on a picture she drew, we started talking, I had so much to talk about after not talking to nearly anyone for years and she was willing to listen, but I was so nervous and unprepared I started making somewhat inappropriate comments to drive her away (because bullies never left me alone until I made them uncomfortable, I just didn't know how to deal with normal people), to my surprise she laughed and confronted, I was taken aback, we kinda became friends, then I learned she's a girl. She being a girl didn't sway me one way or the other at this point however.
Talking to her was the best time of my day, but because of my mental minefield it was also really tough. I got anxious, sad and mad very easily, Her words meant the world to me, or the end of it. I got really mad when she cut me off, I got really sad when she ignored me, I got suicidal when she didn't agree with me. I literally stopped talking to her for weeks at a time multiple times just to prove my point how I felt about something... I'm still trying to understand exactly what I was thinking... At least partially I was overwhelmed, I couldn't cope with someone finally putting up with me. I wanted to be left alone, but I also wanted to be with her and it was really confusing sometimes.
It has taken years to untangle my mind and I owe a lot of it to my wife. I'm not 100%, I'll never be, but with each day I re-discover more of myself and how to be a better person, I want to be a better person.
Today I have a very bad social anxiety, fear of bonding with people, mild fear of women, mild fear of other ethnicities (before you think I'm a racist, I'm not, just the internet taught me for years to be very cautious), and the internet tells me I'm "privileged" and I'm the reason the world is a miserable place.
I appreciate talking about men's issues a lot. That being said, men can have a lot of issues and a lot of pressure, that may manifest itself in a way that is unpleasant or dangerous, so I'd first suggest fellow men to reflect on those and find a release in something that does not hurt anyone, including yourself. Then get help, moping about how the world is unfair to you isn't helpful, even if it may be true, there are things you can do to help yourself to be better towards other people and maybe in return, some of those people will be nicer to you, just pick up the good ones and try to ignore the bad people.

My coping mechanism when I was younger was always music, so when I started to struggle with social situations and women later on in life I bought myself a new piano and started to pick it up again. Between that and buying myself a reasonably priced car I always wanted, those were the best things I have done for myself, likely ever.
I too struggled socially when I was younger, and preferred to be alone, when I was 16 they tried to diagnose me as on the spectrum (Aspergers), but I refused to let them close those doors on me. I learned my social skills by throwing myself through the meat grinder of dating and post high school debauchery. Led to a lot of bad situations arising, but I’ve grown confident in myself throughout the years after I learned how to take the lead and handle them.
Mindset is a powerful thing, and it can definitely take a hit for those younger men on the spectrum and in relationships. Might be time to set up a space for resources for those men, they’re all being failed by their families, and society. There’s no reason we should have to let them fail too, having gone through somewhat similar things and thought patterns leads me to believe others may have similar experiences to ours, and as such, we have the resources and knowledge needed to help them. I just wish the feminist sphere would stop trying to destroy everything positive that men build for themselves.

Hell i'm currently listening to a Nu Metal/Rapcore Album right now since i'm kinda feeling down at the moment life can definitely be shit i currently have no idea where to start to make my life better and the way how ugly society itself is looking even more day by day with this gender war bullshit and how people are literally killing each other it makes me wanna stay indoors even more like why can't everyone be in peace? I'm not gonna lie and say i'm a saint because i've been surpressing my dark side myself and its actually horrifying i almost turned into someone i didn't recognize due to traumatic experiences so i'm trying to keep a clear head and being suicidal doesn't help but i'm trying everyday to survive and not do anything i regret because i really don't wanna be a bad person my parents didn't raise me to become another problem in society i'm just glad i still got a little bit of love in my heart left preventing me from being a prick despite the fact i can't catch a break and practically miserable these days, whenever i get bad thoughts i always try to remember the good i did in my life to others like that time when i was at the exams and this guy that was in my class didn't have anything to eat for lunch and i gave him some of the food i was eating because i knew exactly how it feels to be hungry plus doing exams you need to be able to think while concentrating so how could anyone think on an empty stomach? After we was done eating we both went to the gas station and he told me to take up whatever drink i wanted he'd pay for it, we ended up talking all day during lunch before we had to go back to do the rest of exams. at that moment when he bought me that drink i understood the true meaning of "if you be good to others they will be good to you" that memory alone of me helping out my classmate stops me from becoming a cold hearted prick filled with meaningless hate no matter how much times people treat me like shit nowadays. With that being said i hope you guys find happiness in life i can tell you guys are cool people definitely the kinda peeps i'd chill with IRL i just wish the entire world was like that with no violence but unfortunately that is too much to ask it seems with the way things are

It’s only ever come out in full blown force once or twice, and the sheer ruthlessnesses, and emotionlessness I found myself capable of genuinely frightened me. Self preservation is a hell of a thing. Nowadays, I’m in control, it’s been years since I’ve had any major issues with my inner demons trying to come to light. I’m also happily married to a wonderful traditional woman. *This is what Gynocentrism looks like.*
Just advocating for men's gender issues is treated some how an antithesis to feminism for some reason? See what she is upset about is that the necessity for this community goes against her internal narrative that Feminism is an all encompassing movement for gendered issues.
So she is acting like YOU are dividing the genders. Not the people she agrees are toxic with the "kill men" posts. But we needed this space to talk about our issues without feminist victim blaming us with "the patriarchy caused this so it is your fault. Men need to fix it." Like if we had any power about it. Also we ARE trying to do something by bringing it up. Like this one, feminist often acted like we we are some how being deflective of female issues or trying to steal the spot light. Because we simply brought up our gender's issues in it's own bubble. But they still are unable to see why we needed our own space.
Feminism not only has a long history of keeping men's voices out the gender issues conversation. They constantly are creating these fictional mentalities they swear men have. But it is just the most ungenerous interpretation of why we do anything, including why are we doing suicide. So excuse us for assuming you don't not care to hear about our lived in experiences. Feminists, not saying you movement isn't necessary for real female issues. But stop acting like men are included.
Be honest, outside of tokenizing us in superficial ways. Like mentioning guys might like flowers too or rare occasions of considering us in conversations of body positivity.
When have you ever seen feminists talk about men's more serious issues? (Without trying to spin it as another way we are just hurting ourselves.) You say feminist issues are human issues. But you also say men's issues are their own doing.
So we created our own space and you hate us because you convinced yourself that all sexism will be solved of we just continue to only focus on your issues. She upset of the idea that men can be victims on a grand social scale, that women are not naturally innocent, that all gendered issues is not going to be solved by a female backed movement alone like prophecies in her head. She hates that gendered issues can have more angles outside a feminist prospective. Fucking typical, arrogant, and patronizing gynocentrism shit.

What she's saying is bullsh*t!! In no way have you made a division between men and women nor have you been against women. You have been against what men and women have been doing wrong against one another and shedding light to subjects in that matter that are being overlooked because let's be honest, women have been doing a lot of messed up things to men nowadays because of the bs they hear other women telling them is ok. I'm so glad you're doing what you're doing! I didn't know feminism had brainwashed so many women until I seen your videos and I have been apauled at what most of them think is an ok way to treat a man. They need to realize that somebody needs to stand up for these men who are being done wrong because of their gender. Nobody should be done that way! Thank you Roma for advocating for men, they really need help against the sick feminist but also thanks for calling out in general those who are doing wrong to others. You are very appreciated!

True feminism IS inclusive of men. I never liked how Chloe used the word feminists to refer to women with absolutely 0 feminist motives. BUT I DON'T think Chloe has any internalized misogyny though. Calling out women who are baby trappers, gold diggers, manipulators, or who body shame men is NOT hating on women. That creator seems to put all women on the same category of innocent sweet angels and makes it sound like calling out a woman who does something wrong to men is actually Chloe being misogynistic and rude towards _all_ women, which is just bs.

    • @Ryan-cb1ei
      @Ryan-cb1ei 2 роки тому +3

That’s why they usually claim “internalized misogyny.” It’s a way to place blame on something, some boogeyman, for why Roma supposedly disagrees seemingly at a woman’s expense. They always sound like damn drones when they use that term. It has no backing/credibility anywhere, it’s simply a thing that got so popular amongst feminist/victim circles that they now accept it as fact…
Do you really think the woman in the video is that smart? Or has much empathy? She really thinks she did something using that term because she was triggered. Kids need to stop watching this crap thinking anyone knows wtf they’re talking about and learn that many adults are just as dumb if not dumber than them (except younger people have an excuse).

    • @Ryan-cb1ei
      @Ryan-cb1ei 2 роки тому +4

And nah feminism is BS, It’s crazy how people still try to cling to the term. Movements are defined by actions of the many.

@@soundwavesuperior6761 By true feminism I meant something that while putting spotlight on women's issues, doesn't hate on men, something that doesn't expect men to fulfill unreasonable demands and doesn't body shame men which is what a lot of the so called feminist tiktokers(=pseudo feminists) in Roma's vids were doing. I hope I cleared that up for you? Sweetie, when we say we support the true form of an ideology it doesn't mean we are following the archaic medieval equivalent of it, it just means that we don't support those people who in the name of following a certain ideology, cater to their own selfish interests by manipulating it and create new branches out of it that is in no way what the truest form of the ideology supports.

In my line of work of clinical counselling (yes I spelt it with two L's I'm Australian we're weird like that), overgeneralising is a problem with unhelpful thoughts. We can never generalise an individual, That is a path of making people "Ghosts in the machine". No this is not a manga comic or cartoon, it was a phrase coined by Gilbert Ryle over 60 years ago in his book "the concept of mind". If we look at an individual through the lens of a group, then we have made them a ghost in the machine. Our human brains love to put things into categories, it makes it easier for us to find people we might feel we can be safe and empowered by but when we generalise we also must remember people are individuals. If we allow our chosen groups to take over our individuality then we are making ourselves a ghost; we are not living authentically or self-aware of our strengths and shortfalls. Roma is Roma just as much as I am myself and anyone reading this you are you.

She does bring up great points on men just as much as women but because there is so many women that want to shut down men. Not all but quite a bit of them want to push this feminazi narrative of men are nothing but piggy banks, ect. I don't mean hate toward others but if your gonna send hate you should get hate. Don't tell someone to humble themselves if you yourself aren't willing to research and humble yourself in the process. In the words of many people I know "get fucked karen."

Thank you for everything you say. For a long time I thought it was entirely my fault. I tried to give everything of myself. All i wanted was physical intimacy in return for everything I provided. *Show* me you care. Not sex but a simple hug, a kiss, holding hands, cuddle. It ended up once in a huge argument "MY BODY! I'LL DO WHAT I WANT!" Now Im alone after i gave up everything(including my grandparents home we bought) for our son when she told me to leave. That's what good men are supposed to do, right? I feel so broken and hate myself for it. I'm stuck in a loop of "white male privilege" guilt and just ashamed. I don't trust compliments.
Anyway... thank you. You show me that it is a problem on both sides. The dynamic just shifted over the years to something scary for men. I am on a few dating sites and so many women have so many unreasonable demands up front that make them unapproachable.

Biggest tip from one man to another, stop looking for women on dating sites. That’s where the garbage congregates.
Go out, find women in the real world. Vet them very carefully, if she’s not being as nice as she can be on the first few dates while she’s trying to impress you, leave her in the rear view, she’s not gonna get any better with time.

I trust a woman who has neck tattoos more than a thing that *DOUSES* herself in makeup. I was in a toxic marriage for 15 years that left me a shell of a man. After my ex cheated on me, after I left for work for three weeks to support the fam, she sent me a text message three days into my work hitch to tell me it was over. After the mental break down on the job, I had a ton of support from my fellow workers that advised me on what to do. It's been three years since the divorc3. I'm happier, my kids are old enough to see the controlling shit stain that me ex is, and I have a year left of child support, I make exponentially more than the no ambition ex, and will be able to move with my daughter to where she wants to live instead of being stuck in the heathen north. Whew... anyway, have a great day all.

I believe there were a lot of men who listened to women speak about equality. Some agreed, some didn’t. So the feminist started yelling. Some still listened, some still didn’t. Someone in the feminist’s gave up yelling at the people who wouldn’t listen. So they started yelling at the ones who were listening and the men went “ We are on your side, why are you yelling at us?!” Then we stoped listening.
