The NHS is a service with a Capacity for 50 Million People in a Country with Minimum 80 million and rising, Uncontrolled Immigration has brought Britain to its knees.
Tom is where we needed the government to be 10 years ago. Then it was about stopping the rot but now it’s about reversing it. He is utterly blind to the rapidly shifting Overton window which leaves positions such as his in the dust.
Tom Tugendhat sounds very polished and media trained, but (as in the final desperate days of Rishi Sunak), I think all this fine talk of "protecting our borders" is just rhetoric to take back voters back from Reform. I hear no concrete proposals to end mass migration from Tom. I want to see an accommodation with Reform & some real evidence of a determination to act on mass immigration like that shown Suella Braverman (before she was sacked & smeared - by 'One Nation' Conservatives.) If the 'One Nation' Conservative faction manage to neutralize Nigel Farage & Reform, then they will most likely return to type & their previous CBI/Global Institutional open borders/net zero E.V./multiculturalism agenda and NOT an agenda of more popular citizen-voter democracy.
Tony Blair was a nice person, a charmer, never got ruffled. Boris was similar. That approach goes a long way in politics and I think Tom has those qualities. I think he could really grow into the role as Blair did. It isn’t all about PMs questions in the house of commons, it’s about media interviews. Tom can reach out to non Tory voters in a way that other candidates can’t.

Tugendhat doesnt get it, the rhetoric is fine but we've had over 10 years of rhetoric and no delivery.
