You get an extra star from me. The Grinder Safety tips are both great. They are common sense when you tell it like that, but sharing what you know is what helps everyone be safer. I aopreciate you!

Another good way to lay out the lid is to use broken bandsaw blade if you don't have wraparound handy. Looking good brother!!!!

Jake, you might be referring to Allen of Allen’s Welding/Woodworking on the legs. He builds all kinds of Grills. Your pit is coming along real nice.

Looking good looking good. Noticed you didn't flat down the legs straight. Looked really curved once you welded them. I usually cut my pits all around and get a flush tight seal and only tack all around till the final welds but everyone got different experiences and exercises. Allen's welding is the guy on you tube doing those kind of designs. Over all I see all your vids and its good learning practices.

Jake be careful welding to your truck bed like that you might have done it many times but I just had a dodge ram 2012 with fried ecm and pcm do to someone who thought they where a welder and fixed a plow harness and never disconnected the batters in the truck Just a word to the wise

Jacob Schofield You can get a surge protector to clamp onto the battery from otc tools. We use them at the shop i work at whenever we weld on trucks. Easier than disconnecting it and you dont have to reset your clock everytime. Great vid as always man.
