Tp H.C.M mùa này vẫn còn khá oi bức. Khoảng chừng 3 tháng nữa nó mới thật sự mát mẻ và có mưa. Nhưng ko sao. Tp này có tới 2 thời tiết trong cùng 1 ngày ! Buổi chiều khi mặt trời lặn xuống thời tiết sẽ đột nhiên trở nên mát mẻ ngay !! Người dân thành phố nói đó là lúc "ông trời mở điều hòa nhiệt độ " !!!

Saigon Japan town, Water puppet show, visiting the Notre Dame square, relaxing by the turtle lake (next to the Notre Dame square), “path of book” alley (right next to the iconic Cathedral at Notre Dame square), tour bus, Cu chi tunnel and etc. There just so much to do.
You guys can visit Saigon at night, because at night it is more active than in the morning. different from other regions in Vietnam
Bình Tây market is mostly do wholesales, so most of the people you saw are wholesales vendors and random customers. Bến Thành market is more of a retail bargain market, hence there will be more people visiting 🙂

@@ThanhVu-rr5wf thực ra thì mình luôn dùng tên HCM bởi trước hết địa danh đã thay tên và sử dụng trong các thủ tục hành chính, gọi vậy là trước hết theo đúng văn bản pl, thứ đến nó nhắc nhở mình là cả một tinh thần dân tộc đã hy sinh để có được độc lập, để ta làm chủ và sử dụng đặt tên như một sự tự chủ và lòng biết ơn công lao, sự hy sinh của thế hệ trước. Tuy nhiên, nếu ai đó gọi sg với ý niệm thói quen hoặc sự Hoài niệm thì mình cũng ko quá khắt khe. Còn những kẻ gọi như muốn chối bỏ tên mới HCM và mang tính khơi gợi quá khứ dân tộc thì ko thể chấp nhận!

Saigon city was called “ Pearl of the East” before 1975.
Saigon is the most livable city in Vietnam, watch the video at night, it will definitely be very beautiful
I don't know the reason but I saw many foreigners who walked around Saigon but they had not been wearing any hat despite it was really hot there, while local native always used something to protect their skin from the burning sunlight.

This temple is not a Buddhist pagoda but a Chinese temple dedicated to the Chinese Goddess of the Ocean Thiên Hâu Nuong Nuong . She was from the province of Fukien , facing the island of Taiwan , where she is considered as the highest deity and the protectress of the fishermen ( even in mainland China ) . Most of the worshippers in this temple are of Chinese descent . There is a famous big temple dedicated to her in Kuala Lumpur as well .

I was born and raised in Saigon. I left Saigon in 1978 and I've been living in US ever since. The place you explored is called Cho Lon (big market) where the majority of Chinese descendants living, their ancestors came to Vietnam to live centuries ago; now they're Chinese Vietnamese, a group of Vietnamese people who have nothing to do with the mainland China. Before 1975, Cho Lon was considered as Chinatown of the capital Saigon. Beware of phone snatchers and enjoy your trip in Saigon.
