- Welcome back to Saigon Vietnam. Today we explore the streets of Saigon or Ho Chi Minh City and try some Vietnamese street food that blew us away. Saigon is known for being the birthplace of Banh Mi, so we had to start our food journey off with a gigantic Banh Mi in the heart of the city.

Saigon is a food paradise, the place with the most combini in Vietnam, the most friendly and polite people, and the highest service. That's why the population density there is the highest because Saigon is the place where all Vietnamese people from the South to the North come to work. There are also Chinese, Korean and Japanese streets here, so you can find traditional dishes of those countries here. Hope you two have a fun experience ❤

Hi.... Banh Mi is always ìnflated so you should gentle pop down to flatten then easy to bite.
And you should cut 2 half is better if you couldn't eat all same time.
Don't forget put pickles & spring onion - coriander together.

You can always ask them to cut it (banh mi) in half, it is easier to eat that way.
The green vinger was the soul essence to the noodles....uh the fish sauce was also amazing.. but just a small amount otherwise too much would be salty...😅
You're eating the most popular bánh mì place in Saigon, costs a bit more but well worth it. Also, the jar that's scared you is actually saté peppers, it goes great with soup but it's not the fresh peppers you're looking for.😊

Fish sauce at southern Vietnam its not too salty. Because it is diluted by cooking with water , sugar , vinegar …. So it is easy to eat … with any Vietnamese foods …. OK 👌- wish you both enjoying dishes streets foods….🥰😘💞💞

Your bánh mì has chả lụa, giò thủ, xá xíu, thịt nướng... (VN style of the pork meat loaf, ham, bbq pork, grill pork...), liver pate, egg butter similar to Hollandaise sauce, pickle carrot, cucumber slices, celantro, salt & black paper and chilli pepper... 2 of you enjoy your bánh mì ❤. Bánh mì is one of my favorite foods in VN😍. Thank you for your videos. I'll be visiting Sài Gòn and Cần Thơ this September 2024.

Ha...ha...ha...! Huynh Hoa sandwich is the best street food from Sai Gon- Viet Nam. You can tell the seller cut that sandwich half and half for you easy to eat!

Bún thịt nướng.
That is (Grilled meat vermicelli) and that bowl of soup is Nước Mắm, you have to pour that Nước Mắm into the vermicelli and mix it to make it wonderful.
My favorite Banb mi of all time.
There are dishes with Southern flavors that you can try: bánh canh cua, hủ tiếu miền tây, rà ri vịt, bún riêu cua, bò nướng lá lốt, bánh canh cua, bún mắm, bánh hỏi heo quay...

I don't know if you guys are still in Vietnam or not. Vietnam is also famous for hotpot, if you never had it before, give it a try. Vietnamese hotpot is quite different than Chinese hotpot. Vietnamese hotpot broths are meant to be savored and drank to the last drop, whereas Chinese ones are filled with oils, so you don't want to drink oils. My all-time favorite is the goat hotpot.
P.S. Your girlfriend eating bun thit nuong without fish sauce makes me want to poke my eyes out after seeing that. Just kidding, but seriously, that makes me want to fly back to Vietnam and show her how to eat it properly.

You can try bánh mì Sáu Minh - 170 Võ Văn Tần, ward 5, D 3, HCM. The bread is smaller but very good.

18:18 My heart stopped when she put chili sauce on "bun thit nuong" instead of using fish sauce (the bun thit nuong fish sauce is not a regular fish sauce and does not really have a strong taste of fish sauce; beside that, it is like the soul of the dish with a little bit of sweatiness and sourness, which really goes well with the bun thit nuong). When you put chili sauce on the dish, it is like someone putting ketchup in spaghetti in front of Italians......damn....btw your vids is greats brothers and welcome to vietnam!

That Huỳnh Hoa's banhmi around 2-3 years back used to be even more delicious than the current quality. Bread size was smaller, sliced it half and I was literally able to count upto 6 layers of pate, butter, cold cuts, all were super neatly packed.

Actually, you can put the noodle into a spoon with full of soup and dig it in. I think thats the best way to eat noodle here. Btw, there are still plenty kinds of noodles waiting you guys to try. Love you guys.
