In this video we do some much needed paint correction and scratch removal on the daily driver silverado. We use several products including clay bar and buffer or polisher. This really cleans up the paint and make it look almost better than new. After we fix the paint I want to paint match the door handle tailgate handles and mirrors. I wanted a smooth finish instead of the textured finish the silverado or sierra door handles come with. I show you how to install door handles on a silverado or sierra and tailgate handle with smooth replacements. We also install power mirrors with turn signals and puddle lights. This is an awesome upgrade for those who own a 2003-2007 Silverado or sierra. It is plug and play. Also we color matched the mirrors for a much cleaner look. To top it all off we had the windows tinted. The new color matched silverado looks SO MUCH BETTER. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

Color matched a Tahoe Z71 rear bumper, door handles and mirrors with signals and puddle lamps for my son’s 2006 SWB in red a couple years ago. Also got a smooth Tailgate handle off of Amazon and eventually scuffed the original from bumper and painted to match. All he is missing for color match now is the upper bumper cap and the strips between the headlights and lower signal lights. Had to lightly modify the rear bumper plastics to fit, but the bumper tucks in much tighter to the rear quarters now. Duplicolor and 2K clear to the rescue!

Everything looks awesome man! I done a full colormatch on my old cateye and it looked so much better than the textured black. I am envious of your puddle lights though, I couldn’t find any when I done my mirror swap!
When you do the fog lights, a colormatched valance would look awesome since you’ve gotten rid of the textured handles and mirror caps!

Swapping steering wheels but not controls
If I'm not mistaken I thought the integrated turn signal was only introduced in the power folding mirrors. Are you sure those are not power folding. When you manually fold them in you can tell. Those make more of a ratcheting clicking sound where as the others are more of a thud when the lock in place.

I know you said it won’t work on the 99-02 trucks but I have a 02 Tahoe that comes with factory puddle lights on the LT trim which makes me think the turn signal mirrors may work on it.

How can you identify the mirrors that are power folding and those that are not? I think that the ones you have there are power folding, you just need the switch
