0:10 Albania: They are sooo good at sending powerful female (and Eugent Bushpepa) ballads with powerful voices and the most important they deliver them emotionally on 100%. Also I love that they often sing Albanian and add ethnic elements.
0:35 Andorra: Songs should be timeless or modern to make me enjoy them. Andorra didn't participate for more than a decade, and I’m not the biggest fan of those songs. But It would be extremely interesting to see them in the 2020s.
1:00 Armenia: I love love love what Armenia is doing in ESC especially in recent years. Well done! Even when they don’t qualify they send great quality. Sometimes they are underrated imo.
1:25 Australia: Not to say less, Australia is the only country that remains in my top 10 for the 4th year in a row! I hope they will not leave ESC, they bring something interesting each time.
1:50 Austria: Mixed feelings, and that’s a great thing, because they are changing and sending different entries.
2:17 Azerbaijan: I like the direction they are moving. Sometimes they are underrated, I hope they will send more local artists’ written songs despite this year's result. And more conceptual entries like the masterpiece from 2017.
2:40 Belarus: I miss Belarus, especially their funny NF so much. And their entries are not that bad. I hope after this political madness ends, they will come back and send authentic or funny (in a good way) entries. Belarus should prove their tractors are better than Croatian XD
3:05 Belgium: They always send quality, They feel like a more juries country. I appreciate this level of quality and their attitude so much.
3:30 Bosnia and Herzegovina: I hope they will come back and will show what they can offer in modern times. I really enjoy those 5 songs.
3:55 Bulgaria: PLEASE COME BACK and never leave. The 2016-2021 era was simply groundbreaking. It feels like they sent a not so competitive entry in 2022 to excuse their withdrawal. And 2007 and 2013 are modern ethnic masterpieces!
4:20 Croatia: Honestly it was hard to choose 5 songs that I really like. Croatia sends different stuff but it’s not that much aligns with my taste. But 2016 is a true masterpiece, I wish they will send more stuff like that. And 2023 was a mess, but an unforgettable mess XD Can’t wait to see their next move.
4:46 Cyprus: Pop bops, Eurovision dance pop is not my fav thing, but I can’t deny Cyprus is the most successful with it, they do it so well. But I would like to see more genre diversity from them, 2016 rock entry is sooo good,
5:10 Czechia: I absolutely adore their recent entries. Every entry since 2018. Quality of songs in their NF is also so high every year. They catch the right wave. Can became one of my fav ESC countries.
5:35 Denmark: I wish they will bring more Scandinavian flavor to the contest like they did in 2018. Their entries are definitely not bad, but some of them are not so outstanding imo.
6:00 Estonia: Oh, I love those 5 songs so much, especially the gorgeous top 3! Idk why but I want to see a great troll act from them in the next few years like Tommy Cash.
6:24 Finland: They sure know how to rock and do it in a very different and amazing way all the time. I will never get bored of seeing rock from this country. Pure fire! Great!
6:49 France: Isn't afraid to be different and serve their own flavor. What can be better?! Merci beaucoup!
7:13 Georgia: I unironically adore Georgia's attitude to ESC. They often send what they like and don’t care about the result, and are not trying to be “comfortable”. I love it! A lot of people hate Lock Me In, Midnight Gold, Keep On Going, but I love them! I just hope they will not give up because of a lot of undeserved NQ, and will keep sending what they like and one day they will reach the high spot like Portugal did in 2017.
7:38 Germany: Honestly some of their bottom placements were deserved, because of plain songs, but this year it’s a crime! I don't know what Germany can send to be high. But I hope they will not give up and will make some risky choices. Even if they will reach the last place again, better to do it with out of the box, memorable stuff, than with a plain, empty song.
8:03 Greece: I love the sound of the Greek language and their ethnic sound. I wish to hear more and more of it!
8:28 Hungary: Please come back asap!!! I love their 2016 -2018 entries more than it’s possible. I wish all the countries will send modern ethnic pieces like Origo. And Hungarian metalcore is something absolutely stunning. R.I.P. Örs Siklósi…
8:53 Iceland: I am overly grateful to Iceland for Hatari, they are one of the best bands of all time! Hope they will send more unusual stuff like that. Iceland is not a big country but sends very decent acts.
9:18 Israel: I want to hear more Hebrew on the ESC stage. Very strong ESC country. But somehow I prefer some of their less successful entries. This top 3 is very special to me.
9:43 Ireland: I like those 5 songs. At the same time I hope Ireland will take ESC more seriously. I hope they will send something memorable with a decent staging and will smash this competition like in the good old times.
10:08 Italy: QUALITY! San Remo is an absolutely great quality songs festival. I’m not always satisfied with San Remo winners, but those 5 entries are 100% masterpieces. One of my fav ESC countries for sure.
10:34 Latvia: Those 5 songs completely stole my heart. Country with an incredible great potential on ESC, sometimes really underrated. I hope they will not give up, despite those NQ’s in a row.
10:59 Lithuania: I prefer some more generic and underrated songs from Lithuania. And The Roop is an amazing band. Lithuania had a chance to send my fav entry from them (So low) this year, but the juries didn’t let it happen, they should change the voting system on NF.
11:24 Malta: Their entries are pretty enjoyable, but not groundbreaking. 2018 was robbed, great message and staging. Idk why the public dislike Malta so much.
11:48 Moldova: The most positive ESC country imo, and I adore it. They brought so much fun, and moreover often it’s an ethnic fun that is simply adorable. Special vibe! Love them!
12:12 Monaco: Not the biggest fan of those songs, but I would really like to see them in modern ESC.
12:27 Montenegro: I wish they will come back, they sent some great weird entries, I love good weirdness so much! So underrated!!!
12:52 The Netherlands: If someone would say what country almost always sends juries material, I would definitely say Netherlands. Often it’s just a great quality but I don’t feel it emotionally, but sometimes I feel it for 100%.
13:16 North Macedonia: They often send very decent, classy songs, but without nice stagings. I hope they will come back as well.
13:40 Norway: As for most of the countries I like when they send less typical Eurovision songs. (I wrote it, but placed Tooji as 3rd. I love this song XD).
14:04 Poland: iThey are more successful in the JESC (I don’t follow it, only some general things). I hope they will change their NF attitude and will not be afraid of sending songs like Gladiator. It would bring them to the top places without memes.
14:29 Portugal: I LOVE Portugal.They almost always send what they like, what they feel, and don’t care about ESC trends, all the countries should do the same!!! Result does not matter, impact is!!! This authentic feeling of bright sadness (saudade) is uncredible.
14:53 Romania: I love almost all of the recent Romanian songs! They are really great, but sometimes something went wrong with the staging, sometimes with the vocals. Their broadcaster should be more attentive to their contestants.
15:18 Russia: I prefer more underground Russian entries. I hope when their government will change, they will come back and send more unusual stuff like those 5.
15:43 San Marino: Honestly I unironically enjoy their only 2008s and 2021s entry. But this party would be boring without them. Eurovision country as a guilty pleasure.
16:06 Serbia: I recognize that it’s one of my fav ESC countries. I was so happy that they chose 2 modern masterpieces in a row. But now I’m so sad because they are not ready to not give a f about results like Portugal or Georgia and so they will send safe stuff... Luke Black is my discovery of the year like it was with Hatari and Conan Osiris, 3 brilliant artists I discovered through ESC.
16:33 Serbia and Montenegro: Obviously this country no longer exists. But I like both of the songs.
16:42 Slovakia: Would be very interesting to see what they can offer in our times. 2010 and 2012 are robbed masterpieces.
15:02 Slovenia: Sometimes brings very unexpected and great stuff. Keep on going with it. Hvala ne is the 1st trap ESC entry if I'm not wrong, LOVE IT! I hope they will bring back EMA.
15:26 Spain: I wasn’t the biggest fan of Spanish entries. But I love this idea of Benidorm fest, they sent 2 awesome and very different entries in a row. Well done!
17:51 Sweden: There are many great songs on Melodifestivalen every year, but I’m veeery rarely satisfied with the winner. Sometimes Sweden is overrated. But Loreen is the ESC queen for sure. (Why didn't they send her with Statements in 2017 :( )
18:15 Switzerland: I like their trend to send extremely beautiful, not boring and well staged male ballads with great vocals. (Switzerland and Albania should go on a date, lol)
18:38 Turkey: COME BACK! I need Turkey on ESC so much. I like Turkish music and the sound of this language. I love almost every single Turkish entry. I can only imagine how great they would be in the 2020s.
19:03 Ukraine. My country, and I’m unbiased, but I like our entries, despite sometimes they are overrated. I also like Vidbir. It’s good how we are trying to remain diverse, send something new
since 2016.
19:28 UK: After some very generic songs they sent 2 very decent songs in 2022 and 2023. I hope they will keep a good attitude despite this year's result.

Well Luke Black is the best for Serbia. Lin saw it too. Hope we make great decision for this year too. I know we will. Luka is an artist before his time and so happy people could discover him and his music.
Love to see this kind of video from you. I appreciate that your top 5s do not align with the official results for the biggest part, although you stated that you're biased towards recent years.
I'm just not the biggest fun of 00's pop sound, and modern music seems to me more diverse and more interesting. But if the songs seem timeless to me, I can’t resist loving them.

Ahahah, I just got Theodor Andrei'd XD I love Shum as well, I like experimental stuff a lot, but it sounds to me too much alike to old Ukrainian songs, that annoyed me in my childhood XD If It would've been other's country entry, with their folk music, then it would've been very high in my top. Thanks for the comment. About La Mia Citta masterpiece was too loud word for it, but definitely not the worst song. Live performance was too expressive sometimes, but the song is enjoyable for me, and ofc everyone has different taste and that's cool.
Iceland 2009 is a beautiful song itself, I just don't feel it.
I'm not a fan of Keiino, but I appreciate how they brought some authentic flavour.
I didn't find EAEA final performance bad at all, but I prefer her NF performance more.
