As a song, A Million Voices is lovely, and was a league ahead of any other ballad that year and would have deserved to win (I like 6 songs from ballad heavy 2015 more but all of them were upbeat) but being performed for Putin undermines why public voted for it. They have a right to feel sold short if an act that was abused by her country’s right wing just for picturing with Conchita performs repeatedly for its dictator.

Unpopular opinion maybe, but Heroes totally deserved its win. The visuals were amazing, the song catchy, and Mans is a really charming performer, not to mention with a great voice. I'm glad he won. Too bad you didn't include Poland 1994 though. Seriously thought it would be there too. Plus, would’ve been funny if Run Away also got mentioned
So true! Thank you for saying that!
You forgot Cha Cha Cha, A Million Voices, and All Out Of Luck.
@@elaychscrazyworld4173Схуяли опять Путин виноват? People voted for this song because it was beautiful, not because Putin made them to do it. It's ridiculous to think like that. People from other countries was under his influence too? I dislike him, but don't make up хуйню
Polina deserved Top 3 and got it.... but I'L Volo should had won, they won Televoting by huge difference !
Dancing Lasha Tumbai is addictive to listen! Good thing it was a soundtrack of Melissa McCarthy's movie
Spy is hilarious. While that scene with Verka is iconic, Jason Straham steals the show
Should've won that year
Juries have been deciding the winners for the past decade . I would prefer the Public deciding the winner ❤
Wouldn't we all???
They did try that a few years ago but then brought the juries back again
EUROPAPA KILLED IT THIS YEAR
i would go for the common linnits in 2014 song calm before the storm, instead of conchita who came in ifrst that year
Which unforgettable performances do you think deserved the winning title? Share your picks below.
Cha Cha Cha by Käärijä
Grande Amore
Definitely queen of kings by Alessandra (2023)
Unicorn (2023) and Scream (2019)
To nie ja (1994) Poland
Croatia (2024)
Finland (2023)
Georgia (2011)
Cha cha cha! Cha cha cha! 💚🩷💚
2006???..lithuania what????never ever never
i imagine if this shit won that year lmfao
fuego was better than toy
“ Eres Tú” it’s a forever classic for us Spanish speakers
Unpopular opinion maybe, but Heroes totally deserved its win. The visuals were amazing, the song catchy, and Mans is a really charming performer, not to mention with a great voice. I'm glad he won.
Too bad you didn't include Poland 1994 though. Apparently the only reason she lost was that she sang a part of the song in English by accident during rehearsals and some countries protested her participation in the main event. In the end, they let her perform, but those countries pointedly gave Poland 0 pts.
I read years ago that there was a backroom deal and she would have won but Poland in mid 90s couldn't afford to be the host of the next Eurovision.
There is a big difference between how Europeans and Americans watch and look at Eurovision and the songs. It’s not just about finding the greatest hit
Two notes, First is the favourite to win 2020 was Lithuania, Iceland became popular after the competition would’ve already taken place. Second is where tf is finland from 2023
Cliff Richard’s Congratulations in 1968 should’ve made that list. It was beaten by Spain’s Massiel’s La La La by one point.
Politics already. Franco from Spain..the big fascist regime
Thank you . I missed Congratulations , Cliff Richard's song from 1968 which came second , but definitely was more popular than the Spanish winner La La La .
Imaani where are you, should have won in 1998.
We Are the Winners? Horrible song, dull staging, reaching 6th place is a travesty, it should have been last. Molitva is one of the best Eurovision winners ever, period! Stefani’s deserved the win, I still listen to that gem. I do agree with you, though, about Grande Amore, a definite winner!
Stockholm 2016, Sound Of Silence sung by Dami Im for Australia. What a powerhouse performance of a great song by a superb singer. Everyone who saw Dami's performance expected her to win but no, the winner was Ukraine's Jamala, who did nothing but grunt, moan and wail.
Sergei Lazarev 2016, number one in public voting, downgraded by so-called jury, all because politician causes. But the song and the whole show alongside it was the greatest that year!!!
Cha cha cha from Finland is missing from the list and more importantly Cliff Richard with happy birthday. How is that not on the list? Who won the year happy birthday came out? Does anyone remember? Thats a mistake on your part Mojo
Sam Ryder just an honourable mention
What about Europapa?
Netherlands - Shangri La - 1988 or Greece - Mathima Solvege -1977. So many classics. Doesn't matter the position. Eurovision song contest is no more. Finished. It has spiralled into nothing more but a stage for the grotesque and perverse, a venue for subliminal messages. No wonder that only 8 million people from England watch it compared to 20 million back then.
Americans do not get Eurovision lol where is Chanel or cha cha cha
What about Gravity by Zlata Ognevich from 2013?
That should’ve been the winner
Carola (Sweden) - Främling - 1983
Scott Fitzgerald (UK) - Go - 1988 (Ok the Celine song was amazing)
Rollo & King feat. Signe Svendsen (Denmark) - Never ever let you go - 2001
Jakob Sveitstrup (Denmark) - Talking to you - 2005
Rim Tim Tagi Dim from this year as well
I love seeing KEIINO
We can add Croatia to the list 😂
