This video makes me appreciate the camera work so so much. The different camera angles really takes this performance to a different level

Yeah for example at 0:59 in the edited performance it looked like Bambie was literally folding in half but irl it looks like they’re just falling a bit backwards

@@AnnLawton It's called screamo & has been a thing in music for quite some time now. It might not be to your taste, but the mastery shown here by going between the methods of singing while doing ballet & basically making a live music video is superb.

I was at the semi finals, and it was amazing to see how fast the stage hands to had move between each song and even during the songs. They has clearly practised so much for the night it was like their own choreography

Honestly, if the judges and televoters were real in giving points this should win. It ticks all the boxes for scoring. Great staging, vocals, song and performance.
Most people were scared off. They didn't understand (or didn't want to).
Many somehow interpreted the performance as Satanism :/
It still won 6th place with both voters and jury.
That's an awesome result!
This is without a doubt the best *performance* this year's ESC.
But I do believe Switzerlands entry is the better song and has better lyrics too. The vocals from Nemo are exceptional and the blend of styles is daring and worked out.

@@mariolosberg4257 I love the story behind the song but honestly the staging is a bit off. The song was too dark but staging was too bright. If you didn't know the meaning of the song just like how casual viewers, you wont have any idea who Veronika is. Song is not much of a banger in my opinion but they deserved their spot in finals. I just wish they kinda translate the meaning of the song better in their staging.
@@mariolosberg4257nah, that song just had way too few lyrics and too simple of a staging for the topic. You need to tell a story when talking about a niche event like this, not just give an emotional performance

Great to see from an audience perspective......the camera work which we saw on tv makes it even more incredible.

Awesome to see how it was choreographed and the movement done! I did enjoy that you could see the guy was undoing their outfit just because his face suddenly was "I am now super focussing on undoing a clip" too and can now see that from a wider view. 3 second change there, just perfectly done!
Choreographed? It's like saying that a broomstick is a fighter jet.
@@Dracones101 Yes, choreographed. Every move in a performance like this is planned, which is what choreography is - planned movement. Knowing where to find the camera, how the singer interacts with the dancer, even down to when and how the dancer removes her dress, it's all choreography!
@@Dracones101 dude trust me, as someone with a theatre background this was heavily choreographed. especially the lighting the candles and dragging the other dancer in. to you it looks like nothing maybe but everything on a stage is blocked to within an inch of its life for me its the most soul destroying part of stage work i hate blocking
@SonyaFlynn that's staging. Someone with theater background should know. Choreography implies dancing. No matter the candles, lights. It is a part of the show that, together with other parts, light, costumes, completes the idea. I stand to my point.
@MsGrockle not quite. Planned movement is the broomstick. Choreography, according to the Cambridge dictionary, is "the skill of combining movement into dances to be performed ". Dance is supposed to be the result, but in this case, it is not the case.

@@thecatgamesnl4885 Yeah, not true. Bambie had a special connection to many many participants and was SOO lovely to them. When Luna NQ'd, Bambie made sure she was okay and danced with her and started a chant of people chanting Luna's name which really cheered her up. They had a good relationship with Silvester, Nemo, Iolanda, Marina Satti and many more and was so kind backstage. I assume your comment was referring to Bambie speaking out against Israel? Yeah, that's just called being human and stating that a genocide is wrong. There are also multiple videos of the Israeli delegation harassing Bambie and the commentators making fun of Bambie and many other contestants.
Bambie brought everything to this year and they will not be forgotten in Eurovision history, ever. We needed people like them this year to stand up for themselves as they were treated horrible this year.
And that's literally just Bambie backstage. On stage, they are SO good and delivered in every department: song, staging, vocals, outfit, you name it. 10/10 in every way.
People instantly associating Bambie as evil due to their pagan references in their performance are so far out of their minds, especially when paganism is deep rooted into Irish culture.
Next time, before you comment, maybe do your research? Might be a good idea.

I love these arena views so so much. The tv view was amazing on its own, but this shows all the effort behind the amazing production value.

That's how you do a performance I hope Ireland can do this from here on in each year with amazing artist like Bambie it just shows different actually works. People called lady ga ga a weirdo when first started and look at her now I feel Bambie has so much potential and to b honest I can't wait to see her concert in September tickets booked and I am a good Christian person who loves a good performer I don't care if they wear black pink blue or what their craft is if I like it in going 😁

wonderfull video with a pov seeing all the effort put into the live television show. what i also liked very much to see in this video. was the camera crane movement in the back 🥰
to us so bizzare that this totally new, break out performance did not win ...this is likely viewed so many times...our winner for sure...and in a few months people will remember the song and the lyrics...and not Switzerland....sorry just my opinion.
Its still th3 song and sing competition...not a kinky competition ....France and Swis are top 2 vocal beast in this competition....almost as perfect as Tatoo...
