I love this channel so much please keep making content! I have been doing Muay Thai for 2 years and can really admire all the stuff you have been showing us on this channel! I feel much safer especially with all the grappling you have showed. This channel could be saving lives. Thank you so much!
That's very practical and is a great rule to follow. The only exception I think is if there's another attacker standing on the side where he's grabbed you, although I think you've already went over that before. Thanks again Sifu
I love your videos they not only give you ideas for specific scenarios but also give you ideas on how to apply new things into your wing chun and things you can apply to other situations keep up the good work Ive learned a lot from it
Davinder Kaur I'm a gamer but playing games will not do anything for these kinds of reflexes. If anything, you're looking to build muscle memory and each movement is so different for each case: moving your mouse a few mm to aim is not comparable to blocking a punch.
If he's in full mount and he's grabbed your throat he's basically given you one of his arms, so if you trap his foot on the same side he's grabbed you and trap his arm aswell, you should be able to roll him. That's one way and obviously, easier said than done, if he's punching you, let alone having a weapon too
Rooroo92 he didnt had a weapon (sad to say) he didnt punch me on the ground neither he just went through my pockets and backpack. he realized i wasn't fighting back. but that is a good tactic I've should have tried then.
My limited experience Big guy Much bigger than me Confronting me and leaning on me I realized he's trying to intimidate me or fatigue me Did a cocouchi Felt my fingers close behind his throat He straightened up and leaned back Dropped his hands We were done here

what about back to ground throat grab defense? when i got robbed last year i felt defenseless against a stronger opponent.
