Sitting here mesmerised and then suddenly realised my mouth was actually watering 😆😆 Dude's an awesome teacher. Patient and explains everything so clearly.
Some people do not understand the effort and skill that goes into these dishes, this video is excellent and really does give a behind the scene view of how our BIR dishes are made - well done!!
I’ve been following this channel for 2 years, always great content. But with this one you have really outdone yourself… This is the best British Indian restaurant video on the internet - bar none. We’ll done!
I haven't even finished the video fully but just wanna commend Shuman Bhai for his hard work you can see his passion for cooking when you can see battle scars on his arms from the hot tandoor oven. Absolutely no nonsense built like iron cooks.! Amazing work guys, hats off to you all.
Something that impressed me the most about this video is that there is no door or wall between the kitchen and restaurant. From that one clip you showed of the water taking food out of the kitchen to the table really impressed. I can visualise myself sat in your restaurant watching and listening to my meal being prepared and smelling the wonderful armours wafting thought the restaurant.
Wow I can taste it from here! So many ingredients but what you do is magical. Love the way you take your time to show us all and give the different reasons behind the ingredients or the way you’re cooking them…all during service! You all look like a ‘family’ the way you work together…what a team. Please keep doing the vlogs, I’m learning so much from them. Loads of luv and light to you all⭐️💫🌟🙏
Well, this guy is taking UA-cam cooking to another level. Absolutely superb video, the staff curry looks sublime. Loved the constant descriptions of ingredients and quantities....if I hadn't already had subscribed, I would definitely after watching this. I find it infinitely interesting seeing at what point in the cooking process certain spices are added....this man is a legend!!
Ma Sha Allah great video brother, wonderful to see the behind the scenes in your restaurant. In Sha Allah you make more of this type of videos for us viewers to enjoy.
my restaurant sent me the wrong starter a few months back but when i tried it, it was so nice and was a new flavor for me, i searched the menu and found it was chicken chat puree, I've ordered it since. lovely flavour. I had heard of staff curries before and just presumed it was cheap dung for the workers, but a while back you said it was local back home flavour / authentic not BIR type flavour. I can see now its not what I thought and looks very good.
There's a select few UA-camrs who deliver quality content and aren't full of hacks, top 10s, you won't believe what happened next, reaction, Unboxing, and other assorted bollox. Some are relatively famous like papa stache. Others are criminally underrated like this man. You'll not find another man to say "of course we use frozen spinach, we don't have room for 20 bales of fresh spinach. This is a business! A man who was initially very shy in front of the camera now rocks it cos he knows how good he is cos of the love he gets on here (as opposed to cockiness). Thanks Latif. Your videos belong in a BBC archive for future generations
I am English from Blackpool and live in Florida. You are a lovely guy, and I am cooking all your recipes. They are excellent. My mum was born in Quetta 1924, although she was Irish really. We always had curry growing up. Thank you, Latif... You love what you do. Peter Cam
Yes chicken rajwala (sorry for the spelling). Never even heard of a satkora. And yes these backroom sessions are utterly fascinating, I do love the way
That shatkura dish looks amazing. I'm inspired! You are a master and a joy to watch. I've learned so much from you over the years - thank you for sharing your knowledge. Peace.
Great stuff Latif! Showing the behind the scenes is a great way to show how it's not just like putting a ready meal in a microwave. Maybe a regular 1 hour busiest night LIVE would go down well! A stationary or roaming LIVE camera, with consenting diners included.
Slm br. really appreciate your videos as always, especially for some of us British Bangladeshis that never learnt to cook at our mums 😩this channel is just great to get all those lovely deshi dishes! Thank you 😊
Everything cooked with passion. And you can tell it’s all fresh made on the day the gravy and the meat. Could do with a restaurant of this quality near me!
"Inspired" is the right word! You walk us through these dishes, essentially letting us *taste* the aroma of everything you're making, and i love it :) You, sir, are creating an internet compendium of how-to-cook videos for Bangladeshi curries, you do it so well, and the world needs it! If only people from the other regions of India made such clear tutorials of their own ways of doing things, british awareness of the breadth and depth of Indian cooking would be even more vastly expanded
Id love to see you review other Indian restaurants and talking to the chefs and owners. to me BIR is a fascinating part of the British culinary landscape that make great tv!
Much respect for making these videos. You did say last week how difficult they are to make it must be very distracting on a busy service night. Thank you
I just found you today and watched every video like it was a series on Netflix!!! I cook for the homeless and they love me because I'm always looking for new and good food I love Indian food I did samusa butter chicken and onion parkoda last year and every one's still licking there lips next garlic chicken and chicken Biryani with beef garlic naan Thank You
My dad's coming back from bdesh and I think I'll surprise him and everyone else by making this insha Allah (I haven't ever cooked a curry before). I got so excited when I realised I had pretty much all the ingredients. Thanks!!
Thanks a million for this video! I'd love it if you did more on big pots of curry for batch cooking, freezing, parties, large gatherings and whatnot. I'd say a lot of people would balk at 150ml of oil but when you divide it per portion it's way less than a BIR curry. Keep up the good work!
Great content brother…one request. Can we get another biryani video. I followed your last one and it was amazing. Can you please do another recipe that you think will taste amazing. Keep up the great content!!!
What an honour to be able to see behind the scenes and watch you cooking, thanks to your video's I have started having a go at making curry at home, I have a pot of your base gravy on the stove as I type. Thank you Latif
Latif bro, it's moments like this, that i wish i lived up the road from your restaurant! lol I would become lazy, as i'd always be dining in, or ordering take away from Latifs! What can i say?! From start to finish, yum, yum & yum!!! So much dedication from you & your wonderful staff & great pride taken in all you do. You're a man of true integrity and respect. Thanks for sharing these awesome behind the scenes footage with your followers. Always fun to see!
Wow! I'm a chef myself - this is how we cook, no farting about! I'm lucky enough to live near Normanton in Derby which has a large Asian community so the local supermarkets are full of all kinds of culinary gems you wouldn't find in Morrison's! Great vid, dude 👍.
I could watch this for hours - the finished results are so colourful and artistic - presented for great visual appeal that is certain to be matched by the taste and flavours. Inspiring stuff. I wish I had a tandoor oven as those tikka and breads look so delicious. Wonderful stuff
Those prawns alone are worth the trip to you, I’ve got one complaint, every time I watch a Latifs video I’m inspired to get a menu out… not helping the summer bod 😅 great job.
Thank you. Great video, it really displays the sheer professionalism and knowledge in a spotless kitchen. You are a great ambassador cooking. I’ve just subscribed
These videos are a great insight to the indian cuisine industry, keep up the great work - it's paying off. Hopefully you get lots of customers because of this UA-cam graft

How you can't feel hungry after watching this master class 👍
Yes sir. It’s hard work to get to this level
Loool this is easy even a retard can do it. No trained chefs for this dogfood
He can't even say Asalamu Alaykum, what an idiotttt, bummm
I agree with you! So many layers of flavours and elements 💜❤️

Good example for those that don't understand the reasoning behind base gravy. That staff curry looks ace! Excellent video. 👍

Staff Curry is one of the best things I used to look out for after busy day when I was working at restaurant in my younger days.

I'd love to have just a base gravy soup with chicken pieces and rice. I'd call it the cost of living curry (COL Curry). Keep the videos coming guys!
