I thought it was the controller ($300+ new) and then found your video, took out the resistor and cleaned it and now have 1 & 2 speed on the fan. I've ordered the part and hope it replaces it. Blower had stopped blowing and after I cleaned the resistor, now it blows in speeds 1 & 2. I hope this is the fix for all 4 speeds. The blend door was clicking it sounded like when I would change the diverter to floor, dash or console, prior to it stopping working. Now that went away, and it works with no blend door tapping. Thanks for your video,,,
Mine is still working, but it sounds different/weird. I’m also getting a heavy vibration up top in the middle of the dash so I’m thinking it’s probably on the brink of breaking. I wanted to replace it ASAP because I work at night and I’m afraid that if it breaks, I won’t be able to use the defroster for condensation/safety purposes, I don’t know why I had it in my head that this was a deeply complicated thing but it seems not to be and I am relieved. Thank you for this informative video!
Thank you for the input very knowledgeable that you are. I have a 2019 Hyundai Tucson I was driving it the other day with the blower on high and the whole thing just shut off completely it will not turn on no are whatsoever. You did mention to check a few fuses. I'm having a hard time trying to find exactly what fuse the blower motor fuse is and the blower motor relay is located. I cannot find a location even in my Hyundai book it says nothing about blower motor fuse or blower motor relay. Can you please help me out I would greatly appreciate it thank you so much sir

Hi, such a good channel, great info!! But how do I get that panel off to check the blower motor? Never had to take the panel off before. We have done plenty of other things on it. I believe that's what it is on my 2013 Tuscon. 👍 Thanks.
Hi, I have the same car but my blower is not working at all at any speed. I have already checked the fuse and relay. And blower it self does work. What could the reason be?
Water was coming out and collecting on the motor , and now the motor won't turn on .i will try tomorrow to check the breakers and to bang it to see if it's not all dead, if it just got wet and it got disabled because of it .i have a 17 Santa Fe se, but it looks like the exact motor .
I need help. My wife's Tucson is having same problem, but with the heater on I crawl under there and hit the bottom of the motor housing and I can hear it wanting to work and spin. Just not spinning good. How do I fix this??
@@RBTheMechanic thank you for all of your help I bought the blower oem. I ripped everything out and put it in and voila perfecto. Thank you so much for your help bro I'm going to share your stuff with all of my friends
What if the air blows sometimes and sometimes not, no matter the fan setting or temp. One day we have air the next we don't. Sometimes it won't work but an hour into our drive it will just come on.
Possability blower motor is bad so what to do here is check power and ground to blower motor when it goes off and with key on speed to max u can punch the motor to see if it kicks on that will confirm it also bad motor
Need help fast!! Took the blower motor out and hook it straight up to the battery and it worked, but it doesn't work while it's in the car no matter if it's on high or low speed, I've check all blower motor fuses and relays and they seem good. Don't think it's the resistor cause it doesn't work at any speed setting but the blower motor works when connected straight to the battery
Put the blower back in and then try again check power and ground in to the connector of motor on all speed that’s step one both should be present if one is missing then start tracking the circuit

Excellent. Good to know for when some debris falls into the fan and starts whistling or doing weird rattling. Great job!

It should have clips or screws if I get one Tucson to come in I will do a video on it

Hi, I have the same car but my blower is not working at all at any speed. I have already checked the fuse and relay. And blower it self does work. What could the reason be?
What u mean by blower self dose work?
HVAC Blower Motor Control Module - Hyundai is that the correct name for the piece ?
What is the yllow piece on theleft side? Is it the pigtails?
You did not talk about the pigtail.
Anything that’s yellow don’t touch it it’s related to air bag system
Should I disconnect the negative cable or is that not necessary
U don’t need to do that for blower motor

Replace the motor if ur confirmed that it wants to turn but not turning it could be jammed up bearing on motor
Is it necessary to take the resistor out if you're just changing the blower motor
No just replace the motor
