I didn't know that Wisconsin was a gold baring state. I'm down here in S/E Wisconsin... Came across your channel just by chance being I couldn't sleep at 3am... I like seeing a family that enjoys spending time together out in God's nature that He created for us to enjoy... I'm just a broken down disabled biker waiting for a miracle so I can once again be out looking for treasure. I spent over 50 years out rock hunting. there's not much better than climbing on my Can AM Spyder and finding me a river, creak, or lake to find pretty rocks. I'll be out here just waiting for your next video. I n the mean time you kids be blessed in Jesus name... BBE...

One more step to converting the whole family! I have found that a little comfort increases the likelihood someone on the fence will have a good time. As it gets warmer I think a couple folding camping chairs and a beverage in the sun might help improve morale and productivity. It's way easier feeding a sluice if you can stand or sit comfortably while doing so. You might get one less black eye this way! LOL Thanks for another cool video.

I was watching your Episodes the past Month now, from your first episode, was waiting for your new episode when I subscribed. Been Metal detecting since 1992, off and on since I have alot of other Hobbies, Military Collecting , ( have 178 military firearms and about a million rounds, mostly WW1 to Vietnam era, its my oldest hobby, started that at age 7) others are vintage antique Toy Collecting,Advertising,Petroliana, HO scale Model Trains and Lionel O Gauge 1950s 1970s. Heard and read back around the late 1990s about finding Gold in Black Beach sand ( Eastern western Treasure magazine,Lost Treasure and the Thomas Terry States Treasure Volumns. I,m basically a Beach Metal Detector looking for Gold Jewelry , I use mostly Minelab Detectors, best out there for finding any Gold are the old Explorer Models. Problem these days is many of our inner Park Beach Lakes in metro Detroit, they keep truckin in sand 3-6 times a year, buries the Jewelry even deeper and turns the Lake Water Bathing area into a Quicksand, ( instead of the beach bottom in the lake being hard compact you can sink in up to your waist, happen to me a few years ago in January, sucked one of my boots off, you need a Bulldozer to get those Gold Jewelry already in 7 feet of beach sand. I,ve pretty much seen most of the black sand gold comes from Lake Superior beaches and some from Lake Michigan but heard its in every one of the Great Lakes.About 8-9 years ago I was near Sandusky Ohio along one of its beaches, East of Cedar Point, a day or two after Hurricane Sandy blew thru Ohio after hitting New York ( I believe it was Oct or Nov 2012). The currents and winds had blown the entire shores water off the beach I would say about 700 feet out, where you would of had waist and chest high water there was nothing but the wet beach bottom maybe an inch deep water at the most. While metal detecting I saw a number of very dark bands of Black Sand running across the bottom of the Lake. I had my shovel and a bucket in my truck and dug out the black sand and about filled my bucket than drove back home to Detroit. Was planning on panning it but time went by, hard times at work the death of my mother and father and taking care of my older brother Fred who now lives with me. Use to have a Gold Cube and Sluice but sold it when I was into collecting , of course still have my Australian made Minelabs. The bucket had been sitting for almost 10 years and I had gradually seen where it was kinda of dark on top now lighten up, had dug threw it and looks like the black sand had sunk down. Was wondering if you wouldn,t mind me sending you the bucket of sand or part of it ( Its in a smaller bucket than yours, 3 gallon one) to see if you can find any trace of Gold and if Lake Erie holds any amount of Gold. Lake Erie is closer to my house than the rest of the Great Lakes but it doesn,t have the wave action like Lake Superior that can deposit Gold and Black sand on the beach often.I also will send you one of those Terry Thomas Treasure Volumes for the state of Wisconsin since I will not be needing it its too far for me to drive and you live in Wisconsin. Sincerely Richard from Detroit.
