Just stumbled upon your channel and your instructions are so much more thorough than any of the other more prominent channels I’ve seen on UA-cam. Thank you for sharing and the tips are very helpful! These are things I’ve thought about after watching some other videos where it was so unclear what I was actually supposed to be doing.

Did Old Fall River Road (CO) standing, with just herl drops to make turns. After, did the asphalt back down seated, using just hips to initiate turns. Yesterday, did it with footpeg and leg pressure. Worked great; thanks!

    Can’t wait to try this.
Btw it might be helpful if you had white-soled boots to easily visualize your heal position

Great video. Just wondering, don’t you counter steer? Or does weighting the pegs work best for off-road riding?

I wish I could implement the heel drop technique, but unfortunately the stock muffler on my 2022 CB500X interferes with my size 12 boot! It's a pricey fix to buy a smaller after market slip-on but I don't really see any alternative. Thanks for the new exercises, looking forward to trying them out!

It’s tricky with the muffler or panniers but you can turn your toes in and rotate your heel out a little bit. It’s not ideal but still works. We will load up the bike and do a video with the panniers to demonstrate what that looks like. Enjoy the CBX 👍🏻
