    The used clothes meltdown was pretty hilarious.

    • @lilywashere27
      @lilywashere27 6 місяців тому +15

      Yeah! It was super relatable. But my question is, why does no one get a valet stand/clothing rack/clothes hanger for the bedroom?? That has always been the rule in my house! Same as a chair, but looks tidier and can take up less space. My partner hasn't got one and he leaves his clothes all over the bed, which annoys me so so much. Just get a wall-mounted hanger for used clothes, they're not expensive!

    • @RoibenRocks
      @RoibenRocks 6 місяців тому +12

      It's also classic ADHD. I operate exactly like Jessica for exactly the same reason. And my girlfriend is always the one who has to sniff my clothes to make sure they're not smelly before I might wear them after they spent a week crumpled up on a chair. Or on the floor. More often than not I just go: nah, somehow it's too crinkly now. Can't wear that again. Into the wash it goes. A proper rack might actually help...

    • @dragonflies6793
      @dragonflies6793 6 місяців тому +4

      If I'm not putting it in the wash yet I probably just keep wearing it, unless I'm uncomfortable with it for some reason (ex: too hot) and then I'll take it off and either put it in the wash or put it on my bed or chair for later.

    • @helenm1085
      @helenm1085 6 місяців тому +3

      I have a clothes pile hanging over my bed end, and thankfully I have a support worker once a week, so we sometimes use that time to sort through it all. And yeah, sometimes the things that you thought were clean enough do not pass the sniff test when you come back to them 😅
      I'll rehang things I've worn that weren't against my skin if they smell fine (like shirts worn as jackets, skirts worn with a t-shirt tucked in at the waist)

    • @lilywashere27
      @lilywashere27 6 місяців тому +2

      @@helenm1085 if it doesn't bother you that's okay! And I too use things I haven't worn against my skin for longer. My advice is to let the not-clean-not-dirty clothes in a place where they can be aired a bit, it helps them a lot, just like bed sheets really. Anyhow, do what works best for you! I couldn't deal with clothes on my bed, I wake up every morning with my sheets and blankets all to sides, even after cold winter nights

    When you both were saying that Roo didn't want you to cuddle or hold hands, I chuckled. Apparently when I was 8 months of age, I hadn't quite figured out crawling and definitely couldn't walk. But one day my parents hugged and kissed (on the other side of the room) while I was playing on the floor and apparently I got so jealous I jumped up and ran over to separate them, because only I was allowed hugs and kisses. (🤷toddler logic I guess)
    So I went from scooting on my butt to running to stop my mum and dad giving each other a hug and kiss. 🤣

    I'm from Brazil, and the word for mother here is Mãe, but I'm also from the northwest region of Brazil, and is very common to little kids to call their moms "mainha", because it is used as the diminutive of "mãe" in the region. So this is how I have called my mom my entire life, I think is quite cute, specially said with our accent

    i think it makes perfect sense that if there's a high rate of celiac, there would also be a greater awareness and amount of options for other dietary restrictions. mostly because celiac is so prone to cross-contamination. when i worked in a kitchen doing all of the dietary needs options, it was a lot easier and more intuitive to make options for multiple allergens when you already have a sterile environment that's designed to be completely reset

    I'm old enough to be grandmother, but that 'Im so proud of you clip's hit me hard. I immediately started crying. That might be a clip a lot of people need to have saved and be able to listen to over and over again. And btw, not only are your lesbian mom's proud of you, but since I'm a mom and aunt at a grandparent age, I'll add that this mom/ aunt/ grandmother/ friend/ sister/cousin etc is proud of you too.

    Jess, just designate a place for your half worn cloths you can hang then in a separate cubberd or fold them into a drawer/ basket etc then they have a neat place to live, as an ADHDer this works for me about half the time which is incredible improvement 😅😊

    In the southern US, I say "Mama". Bought travel insurance for my niece's 2020 destination wedding. Got every dime back.

    5:10 damnit Jessica, I didn't click on this video to have my heart shredded into a million pieces and then lovingly put back together again. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
