What reel is that deep diving plug on? My Squall 50w is a tank, I would like something a lot lighter.
More info about how far behind the boat your lures are! I heard daisy chain and trolling plug. Saw one fish ate the chugger head. Just looking for stuff like what style head off each rigger position, distance behind the boat, in estimated yards, length of baits etc.

In one of your seminars you talked about PE braid (8 strand). Do you use this braid on all your gear? And should I switch over completely from my braid (4 strand) to PE braid. ~Captain Palmer ORC.
No, I almost always fish Diamond Braid, I only fish PE Line when slow pitch jigging beginning its smoother/rounder/thinner. - Capt Mike

I am in NJ and am moving to your area soon. Curious why I don't see anyone using spreader bars? Is it because the toothy creatures would just destroy them?
Ive tried them down here and found limited success when I scaled down all the bait sizes to small 3 and 4 inch lures.

Varies depending on lure, speed, conditions, etc however put it back a hundred feet and wait for it to start singing. - Capt Mike
