I had commented on a video the other day about yellowfins in South Florida. Do you guys chunk at night? Or something like that? Or are sharks just too much of an issue? I ask cause I'm trailering my boat down to Palm in March and wanna fish a night in deep water. I got a big senator to try for a sword but do you guys get blackfins at night? I just don't hear allot of night tuna down there. I'm just trying to increase my possibilities. I don't wanna go and just waste money and time on fish that aren't there
Thank you for the great video fished the banana river most my life but now just picked up a 24 foot laguna deep V. Never really fished offshore but where going out.
Those are minnow's not dolphin!! They not even keepers, so small!! The plug's nice though!!I guess that's how they do it in Florida??Throw them back so small!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lol definitely poor choice of words, but when he said “green” I believe he meant still lit up and energetic and saying you can tell by the color because dolphin dull out a ton as they die off.
Hi Capt. I'm a subscriber to fsftv.com and love it btw! Thanks for this video, I'm this guy with the spinning gear only. I do have a question. I've heard others and you in this video say "just be sure your drag is set correctly" referring to when you are trolling with the bigger rigs but I don't know that I've heard anyone actually say what that setting looks like. Could you clarify?
We've recently relocated operations to the middle Florida Keys, too far from his home town, especially with two babies over the last couple years. Im sure you understand...thanks for watching and please join www.FSFTV.com.
Awesome video, its always great to learn new stuff. However, I have to be that guy. Conventional gear can be found on the cheap if you shop around. Penn Squall VSW or Shimano TLD to name a few. A five gallon bucket with an air-rater to hold some live bait can also be found for cheap . Granted, those are just ideas and won't be great for everything. But it will do most of what you need it to do.

Since no one answers you, i shoot out of port Canaveral, east coast Florida. Take about 20-25mikes to get to 100’ depth. If i drive 100miles south i can get to 100’ depth about 10-12 miles out. Mahi can be found in 60’ of water but my experience is generally the deeper, The better the fishing.
