The darter head will the trick worm was sweet 👍 You are very helpful with the rod, reel , line to hook gauge explanation. It will make a great short.
Well dang Debo! I fish this rig, and several “ similar “ “darter head” style jig heads. And some have a longer shank that I tie a very lite finesse hair ( hybrid really) ties on … and let me tell you. They work in my river from February to September. Then I switch to a Ned ( Midwest finesse head) as you stated. Working on a similar rig but “hybridized “a bit if that’s a thing.

Another great video. Thank you for all the tips. I have one for you as a fellow bank beater and gear nerd. I'm constantly looking at stuff. On Amazon I found a rod carrier by Castek. I really like it. My rods are expensive and there's a bunch of goose skat around my local ponds. It's really nice. If you get a chance please consider scoping it out. I don't have anything to do with them. Just found it and like it.

I used heat shrink for senkos when I started fishing, it doesn't rip the worm I half like a O ring. Tight lines Debo!

@@littlerich2644 got out this morning for a few . Couple crappie and a smallie on a jerkbait. I’m planning on taking the yak out 1 last time tomorrow. Waters not too cold yet but the bite is definitely slowing WAY down for me ( hate fishing slow . Ned rig n dropshot are physically painful to me lol )
Great all around head shape. Ewg style hooks are soo sweet from the bank. Way less hang ups
Debo bud the z too plasticw are made by zman for strike king. If youll look at the z too and the zman streaks and fluke style gaits youll realize they are even the same colors lol.
Love my slx mgl 70 its my second favorite shimano reel. I use ot for 1.5 squarebills and lighter cranks on a mh moderate cranking rod.

Debo. This set up is overcomplicated. Use JDM tackle: Bay Ruf BR Fish lures. Easy to rig and it can do darting action better
I’d like to try the 1/8oz version. Mostly all my tackle and gear is based around lighter weight finesse.

I fish them on a bfs reel and I fish they like a jerkbait
